blessing_n and_o deliverance_n from_o god_n therefore_o religion_n the_o fear_n of_o god_n and_o divine_a wisdom_n appertain_v to_o they_o 8._o beside_o these_o reason_n we_o have_v plenty_n of_o holy_a example_n in_o the_o scripture_n 10._o as_o euah_n john_n sarah_n rebecca_n deborah_n marie_n and_o elizabeth_n 1._o with_o many_o other_o holy_a and_o religious_a woman_n if_o then_o religion_n belong_v to_o woman_n then_o much_o more_o to_o man_n as_o they_o excel_v in_o place_n and_o power_n so_o they_o shall_v excel_v in_o grace_n and_o wisdom_n they_o shall_v be_v example_n of_o zeal_n and_o piety_n and_o teacher_n of_o their_o wife_n and_o family_n this_o serve_v for_o the_o confutation_n of_o the_o papist_n who_o lock_n up_o the_o scripture_n from_o man_n and_o woman_n teach_v that_o do_v not_o belong_v to_o they_o to_o search_v the_o scripture_n this_o also_o make_v against_o profane_a and_o careless_a woman_n who_o be_v altogether_o negligent_a in_o the_o matter_n of_o religion_n as_o though_o it_o do_v not_o belong_v to_o their_o sex_n at_o all_o here_o be_v also_o reprove_v wicked_a and_o profane_a husband_n who_o do_v not_o further_o but_o altogether_o hinder_v their_o wife_n in_o the_o exercise_n and_o zeal_n of_o religion_n and_o most_o curse_a be_v all_o atheist_n &_o carnal_a man_n who_o scorn_n and_o deride_v any_o profession_n or_o show_v of_o religion_n in_o woman_n and_o final_o here_o be_v comfort_n and_o encouragement_n for_o all_o forward_a and_o religious_a woman_n this_o may_v be_v to_o stir_v they_o up_o to_o proceed_v &_o go_v on_o in_o the_o way_n of_o godliness_n have_v so_o many_o both_o reason_n and_o example_n set_v before_o they_o move_v and_o enforce_v they_o to_o the_o zeal_n of_o religion_n and_o as_o it_o appertain_v to_o all_o man_n and_o woman_n in_o general_a so_o more_o especial_o to_o gentile_n noble_n lord_n lady_n king_n and_o queen_n as_o they_o excel_v and_o shine_v before_o other_o in_o diet_n in_o apparel_n in_o possession_n and_o dignity_n so_o shall_v they_o go_v before_o they_o in_o spiritual_a grace_n as_o they_o have_v receive_v more_o blessing_n from_o the_o lord_n so_o be_v they_o more_o tie_v and_o bind_v to_o he_o again_o and_o more_o zeal_n piety_n and_o thankfulness_n be_v require_v at_o their_o hand_n according_a to_o the_o say_n of_o our_o saviour_n to_o who_o much_o be_v give_v of_o he_o much_o shall_v be_v require_v their_o place_n and_o honour_n shall_v be_v inducement_n to_o piety_n as_o samuel_n say_v to_o saul_n the_o lord_n send_v i_o to_o anoint_v thou_o king_n over_o
