into_o every_o believe_a heart_n as_o a_o branch_n of_o the_o same_o this_o will_v yet_o more_o clear_o appear_v if_o we_o consider_v what_o be_v the_o jew_n own_o natural_a root_n and_o olive_n they_o be_v receive_v in_o again_o into_o their_o old_a fellowship_n and_o communion_n with_o god_n according_a to_o the_o order_n of_o moses_n and_o thus_o the_o apostle_n prove_v their_o first_o estate_n to_o be_v holy_a as_o the_o first_o fruit_n of_o thâ—t_a holy_a and_o bless_a relation_n wherein_o they_o stand_v towards_o god_n by_o faith_n from_o which_o they_o for_o their_o unbelief_n be_v cut_v off_o and_o the_o gentile_n by_o faith_n admit_v in_o of_o mere_a grace_n and_o not_o to_o boast_v and_o yet_o there_o be_v a_o remnant_n of_o they_o to_o be_v call_v as_o the_o lump_n and_o a_o second_o fruit_n which_o be_v also_o holy_a in_o reference_n to_o the_o same_o holy_a root_n as_o aforesaid_a and_o as_o the_o root_n be_v holy_a so_o shall_v these_o branch_n be_v when_o they_o come_v to_o be_v graff_v in_o again_o to_o their_o own_o root_n and_o olive_n tree_n as_o at_o the_o first_o which_o be_v union_n and_o communion_n with_o god_n in_o his_o holy_a way_n of_o worship_n and_o so_o much_o of_o the_o root_n or_o olive_n tree_n which_o must_v be_v understand_v of_o christ_n mystical_o consider_v and_o not_o of_o believe_a parent_n as_o aforesaid_a now_o a_o word_n of_o the_o branch_n which_o be_v holy_a be_v believer_n only_o in_o the_o apostle_n sense_n first_o they_o be_v branch_n only_o as_o they_o subsist_v and_o grow_v in_o the_o root_n or_o vine_n and_o so_o bear_v the_o true_a nature_n of_o the_o same_o by_o which_o they_o appear_v to_o be_v holy_a by_o the_o fruit_n thereof_o christ_n be_v the_o root_n or_o vine_n as_o aforesaid_a the_o branch_n can_v no_o way_n be_v say_v to_o subsist_v and_o grow_v in_o he_o as_o their_o root_n but_o only_o by_o faith_n and_o he_o in_o they_o by_o his_o spirit_n without_o which_o there_o be_v no_o holiness_n in_o the_o apostle_n sense_n who_o speak_v of_o such_o a_o holiness_n as_o be_v produce_v in_o the_o branch_n by_o the_o holy_a root_n in_o which_o it_o ingrow_v and_o so_o partake_v of_o the_o nature_n of_o the_o root_n by_o virtue_n of_o union_n and_o communion_n which_o it_o have_v with_o the_o same_o all_o which_o be_v by_o faith_n as_o the_o word_n reveal_v second_o there_o be_v no_o branch_n that_o be_v alive_a in_o the_o vine_n but_o partake_v of_o the_o sap_n and_o life_n of_o the_o same_o by_o virtue_n of_o which_o the_o branch_n though_o never_o so_o young_a and_o small_a be_v discover_v to_o be_v alive_a and_o enable_v to_o bring_v forth_o in_o its_o season_n such_o fruit_n as_o whereby_o the_o same_o may_v be_v discern_v so_o it_o be_v hereby_o the_o spiritual_a branch_n they_o can_v proper_o be_v call_v branch_n in_o the_o apostle_n sense_n but_o as_o they_o partake_v of_o the_o life_n and_o grace_n of_o christ_n their_o true_a vine_n and_o olive_n tree_n by_o which_o they_o appear_v at_o the_o least_o to_o be_v alive_a in_o he_o by_o faith_n and_o enable_v by_o the_o same_o to_o bring_v forth_o such_o fruit_n as_o may_v discover_v they_o to_o be_v in_o covenant_n of_o grace_n and_o so_o to_o be_v admit_v â—â—to_o the_o privilege_n thereof_o as_o john_n 15.1_o 7._o nature_n itself_o teach_v as_o much_o for_o no_o man_n will_v first_o fruit_n and_o root_n unto_o they_o till_o they_o come_v to_o be_v convert_v and_o be_v convert_v do_v believe_v as_o well_o as_o their_o ancestor_n and_o whether_o ever_o they_o will_v come_v to_o be_v convert_v or_o no_o be_v as_o uncertain_a for_o all_o their_o relation_n to_o their_o holy_a ancestor_n and_o for_o all_o their_o ancestor_n covenant_n with_o god_n as_o be_v the_o conversion_n of_o any_o other_o infidel_n the_o gospel_n hold_v forth_o abraham_n for_o a_o root_n of_o jew_n and_o gentile_n silvester_n silvester_n and_o that_o be_v only_o in_o respect_n of_o his_o faith_n and_o faithfulness_n and_o so_o be_v he_o the_o pattern_n and_o father_n of_o the_o faithful_a that_o resemble_v he_o in_o the_o same_o so_o that_o jew_n and_o gentile_n be_v abraham_n branch_n only_o as_o they_o spring_v out_o of_o the_o same_o root_n by_o faith_n which_o declare_v they_o to_o be_v his_o true_a natural_a branch_n so_o far_o only_o as_o they_o appear_v to_o be_v of_o the_o same_o faith_n as_o he_o be_v but_o now_o for_o the_o jew_n that_o they_o be_v break_v off_o it_o be_v only_o for_o want_v of_o their_o actual_a believe_v the_o gospel_n as_o rom._n 11._o and_o oppose_v the_o same_o act_v 13.46_o and_o so_o be_v the_o gentile_n receive_v in_o only_o upon_o their_o actual_a believe_v and_o receive_v the_o same_o for_o as_o the_o word_n condemn_v none_o but_o with_o respect_n to_o actual_a sin_n no_o more_o do_v the_o word_n justify_v any_o jew_n or_o gentile_n but_o with_o respect_n to_o actual_a faith_n and_o as_o every_o one_o be_v own_o faith_n inright_v to_o life_n so_o everyones_n own_o faith_n inright_v to_o the_o privilege_n of_o life_n silvanus_n silvanus_n it_o be_v true_a the_o gospel_n hold_v forth_o abraham_n for_o a_o father_n and_o so_o for_o a_o root_n both_o to_o jew_n and_o gentile_n that_o believe_v rom._n 4.11_o 12._o but_o in_o rom._n 11.16_o the_o apostle_n hold_v forth_o abraham_n as_o the_o root_n of_o the_o jew_n who_o be_v his_o natural_a branch_n not_o by_o faith_n as_o you_o will_v have_v it_o but_o by_o natural_a generation_n through_o grace_n bear_v under_o his_o covenant_n in_o opposition_n to_o the_o gentile_n yea_o to_o the_o believe_a gentile_n for_o he_o make_v the_o rejection_n of_o the_o jew_n a_o mean_n of_o the_o conversion_n of_o the_o gentile_n and_o the_o conversion_n of_o the_o gentile_n a_o mean_n of_o the_o conversion_n of_o the_o jew_n at_o last_n and_o the_o conversion_n of_o the_o jew_n a_o mean_n of_o awaken_n and_o revive_n of_o the_o gentile_n verse_n 15._o and_o by_o natural_a generation_n according_a to_o the_o flesh_n but_o only_o with_o reference_n to_o his_o gracious_a covenant_n make_v with_o abraham_n and_o with_o his_o seed_n after_o he_o if_o you_o set_v aside_o the_o consideration_n of_o the_o covenant_n the_o seed_n of_o the_o most_o holy_a of_o god_n saint_n be_v child_n of_o wrath_n and_o not_o a_o people_n of_o god_n neither_o let_v this_o two_o tribe_n of_o judah_n and_o benjamin_n common_o call_v the_o jew_n reject_v david_n lord_n the_o lord_n jesus_n and_o his_o righteousness_n and_o the_o ministry_n of_o the_o apostle_n but_o
