we_o the_o intention_n of_o the_o petition_n be_v not_o that_o there_o may_v be_v only_o such_o a_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o be_v before_o jesus_n christ_n come_v in_o the_o flesh_n and_o since_o christ_n come_v universal_a among_o the_o saint_n viz._n with_o that_o sincerity_n and_o in_o that_o do_v it_o that_o be_v of_o the_o same_o kind_n with_o that_o in_o heaven_n such_o indeed_o there_o have_v be_v but_o alas_o it_o have_v be_v but_o in_o so_o very_o low_a degree_n as_o bear_v no_o proportion_n so_o that_o except_o there_o be_v a_o new_a state_n of_o thing_n such_o a_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n can_v never_o arise_v to_o any_o perfection_n see_v it_o have_v not_o do_v it_o in_o 1600_o year_n and_o we_o can_v have_v no_o reason_n except_o such_o a_o kingdom_n come_v to_o expect_v it_o in_o 1600_o or_o 16000_o more_o if_o time_n can_v so_o long_o continue_v all_o which_o make_v it_o beyond_o all_o doubt_n that_o this_o petition_n can_v never_o be_v fulfil_v but_o by_o such_o a_o kingdom_n as_o shall_v bring_v heaven_n and_o earth_n to_o such_o a_o parallel_n and_o therefore_o as_o shall_v be_v show_v in_o the_o explain_v the_o petition_n itself_o the_o prayer_n be_v most_o strict_o and_o yet_o most_o intentional_o for_o a_o exact_a paralellism_n between_o the_o new_a heaven_n and_o the_o new_a earth_n as_o shall_v be_v in_o the_o kingdom_n of_o christ_n and_o wherein_o righteousness_n shall_v dwell_v alike_o it_o be_v therefore_o a_o prayer_n not_o only_o for_o the_o do_v the_o will_n of_o god_n on_o earth_n but_o also_o in_o heaven_n viz_o very_o evident_a it_o be_v a_o petition_n that_o must_v be_v answer_v in_o some_o state_n on_o earth_n and_o not_o in_o the_o heaven_n of_o eternity_n only_o in_o perfection_n and_o here_o only_o in_o some_o degree_n or_o likeness_n of_o kind_a in_o regard_n of_o sincerity_n and_o further_o it_o be_v most_o evident_a upon_o a_o new_a argument_n there_o be_v a_o parallel_n betwixt_o the_o heaven_n and_o the_o earth_n in_o this_o prayer_n it_o be_v not_o say_v therefore_o on_o earth_n as_o in_o heaven_n but_o as_o in_o heaven_n and_o upon_o earth_n but_o such_o a_o parallel_n can_v be_v in_o mystery_n of_o god_n be_v finish_v can_v be_v leave_v out_o of_o that_o prayer_n which_o the_o great_a prophet_n high_a priest_n and_o apostle_n of_o our_o profession_n teach_v to_o his_o disciple_n travail_n under_o yet_o under_o hope_n of_o bring_v forth_o a_o better_a tsate_n all_o this_o the_o creature_n with_o earnest_a expectation_n wait_v for_o with_o liftedup_a head_n they_o as_o it_o of_o this_o very_a glorious_a liberty_n of_o the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n by_o it_o and_o in_o it_o who_o cry_v unto_o he_o abba_n father_n he_o do_v affirm_v we_o have_v the_o first_o fruit_n of_o the_o spirit_n and_o groan_v within_o ourselves_o wait_v for_o the_o adoption_n that_o be_v the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o that_o be_v the_o redemption_n of_o our_o body_n he_o further_o manifest_v this_o can_v be_v a_o present_a state_n 1._o because_o the_o apostle_n have_v only_o the_o first_o fruit_n of_o the_o prayer_n for_o it_o with_o groan_n that_o can_v be_v utter_v 2._o the_o apostle_n so_o often_o refer_v to_o god_n as_o a_o father_n by_o the_o spirit_n of_o adoption_n cry_v abba_n father_n by_o the_o so_o often_o mention_v of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n by_o the_o adoption_n lead_v we_o even_o by_o a_o stretched-out_a hand_n to_o that_o prayer_n wherein_o the_o very_a first_o word_n be_v our_o father_n if_o therefore_o we_o be_v lead_v by_o the_o consideration_n of_o god_n as_o a_o father_n to_o the_o prayer_n that_o teach_v we_o to_o say_v our_o father_n we_o be_v certain_o lead_v also_o to_o the_o great_a point_n of_o adoption_n viz._n the_o manifestation_n of_o and_o the_o glorious_a liberty_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n which_o must_v be_v principal_a point_n of_o that_o prayer_n wherein_o we_o call_v god_n father_n because_o the_o adoption_n be_v proper_a to_o son_n even_o as_o the_o manifestation_n of_o and_o the_o glorious_a liberty_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n be_v and_o therefore_o they_o must_v be_v intimate_o relate_v both_o of_o they_o to_o god_n as_o a_o father_n because_o son_n and_o father_n be_v so_o strict_o and_o inseparate_o cor-related_n the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n then_o come_v as_o in_o heaven_n and_o on_o earth_n must_v be_v the_o centre_n wherein_o all_o these_o line_n meet_v for_o at_o that_o kingdom_n be_v the_o redemption_n of_o our_o body_n that_o be_v the_o resurrection_n as_o all_o scripture_n agree_v 3._o the_o apostle_n plain_o signify_v we_o do_v know_v what_o we_o be_v to_o pray_v for_o and_o yet_o we_o do_v not_o know_v what_o preparation_n of_o his_o saint_n by_o christ_n in_o the_o glory_n and_o holiness_n of_o human_a nature_n for_o that_o union_n with_o himself_o in_o the_o absolute_o divine_a kingdom_n of_o eternity_n in_o which_o that_o last_o act_n of_o jesus_n christ_n as_o in_o our_o nature_n seek_v not_o his_o own_o will_n nor_o glory_n but_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o father_n he_o do_v not_o only_o in_o and_o
