the_o thing_n signify_v which_o he_o will_v say_v be_v christ_n then_o necessary_o salvation_n which_o be_v only_o by_o he_o but_o it_o be_v well_o for_o we_o that_o this_o snake_n whether_o serious_a or_o scoff_a whether_o profane_a or_o arrogant_a and_o at_o time_n he_o be_v all_o these_o be_v still_o wrong_a and_o false_a for_o we_o can_v in_o deep_a humility_n of_o soul_n thank_v god_n that_o through_o the_o manifestation_n of_o the_o holy_a spirit_n upon_o our_o heart_n we_o be_v keep_v in_o fresh_a and_o live_a remembrance_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n in_o jesus_n christ_n to_o we_o the_o soul_n of_o religion_n while_o they_o keep_v the_o body_n or_o outward_a part._n the_o like_a complaint_n our_o saviour_n make_v of_o the_o pharisee_n who_o have_v clean_a outside_n the_o like_a complaint_n be_v make_v against_o the_o romanist_n by_o our_o first_o reformer_n viz._n that_o they_o have_v the_o body_n or_o outward_a part_n of_o religion_n but_o the_o soul_n of_o it_o be_v disappear_v and_o for_o all_o the_o snake_n suggestion_n the_o devil_n hold_v the_o same_o course_n and_o he_o may_v have_v as_o gay_a a_o outside_n as_o he_o will_v while_o he_o continue_v so_o deceitful_a within_o as_o he_o be_v ibid._n religion_n can_v no_o more_o live_v and_o be_v preserve_v to_o we_o here_o while_o we_o be_v in_o the_o body_n without_o outward_a and_o corporal_a mean_n quaker_n and_o his_o witness_n here_o be_v a_o clear_a testimony_n that_o the_o truth_n and_o light_n profess_v by_o the_o quaker_n lead_v out_o of_o the_o work_n of_o the_o flesh_n to_o worship_n god_n in_o spirit_n and_o in_o truth_n and_o that_o by_o this_o j._n toldervy'_v understanding_n be_v open_v what_o hinder_v then_o that_o the_o work_n of_o regeneration_n do_v not_o go_v on_o in_o he_o why_o they_o say_v that_o he_o be_v of_o a_o hasty_a and_o forward_a mind_n it_o be_v in_o part_n a_o covenant_n of_o his_o own_o which_o raise_v a_o fiery_a zeal_n by_o which_o he_o lose_v his_o understanding_n and_o thereby_o the_o sun_n be_v darken_v a_o very_a natural_a consequence_n of_o that_o covenant_n which_o be_v his_o own_o and_o not_o of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o here_o various_a disposition_n of_o the_o person_n so_o covenant_v be_v the_o extreme_n which_o they_o run_v into_o thus_o they_o acknowledge_v in_o direct_a opposition_n to_o the_o snake_n that_o that_o deceit_n which_o be_v in_o j._n toldervy_n be_v so_o far_o from_o encourage_v he_o in_o the_o principle_n of_o quakerism_n that_o it_o do_v lead_v he_o out_o of_o the_o true_a obedience_n to_o that_o prinliple_n which_o they_o say_v he_o learn_v from_o the_o quaker_n ibid._n p._n 291._o he_o make_v a_o sort_n of_o a_o half_a vindication_n and_o half_a recantation_n not_o of_o the_o matter_n of_o fact_n of_o his_o aforesaid_a delusion_n for_o these_o be_v undeniable_a but_o to_o free_v the_o quaker_n from_o the_o imputation_n and_o scandal_n of_o they_o and_o to_o clear_v himself_o to_o have_v be_v and_o still_o continue_v a_o true_a quaker_n which_o make_v the_o cause_n much_o worse_o on_o their_o side_n suppose_v john_n toldervy_n do_v endeavour_v to_o clear_v himself_o to_o have_v be_v respect_n to_o their_o own_o satisfaction_n it_o will_v make_v the_o cause_n much_o better_a because_o the_o people_n of_o god_n in_o all_o age_n do_v always_o rejoice_v when_o one_o that_o have_v every_o true_a son_n of_o the_o church_n a_o enthusiast_n yet_o in_o p._n 98._o he_o say_v enthusiast_n indefinite_o have_v no_o principle_n they_o have_v no_o rule_n but_o their_o own_o fancy_n
