of_o these_o or_o in_o all_o of_o they_o as_o it_o please_v god_n to_o dispose_v of_o we_o if_o your_o mind_n be_v enlarge_v into_o the_o sight_n and_o view_v of_o the_o greatness_n of_o the_o impure_a 2._o it_o be_v imperfect_a in_o its_o kind_n 3._o it_o be_v fleshly_a and_o fade_a 4._o it_o be_v not_o a_o holy_a nature_n 5._o it_o be_v not_o holiness_n that_o can_v take_v away_o sin_n 6._o it_o be_v not_o holiness_n that_o can_v take_v away_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o world_n and_o therefore_o not_o the_o holiness_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n second_o as_o it_o be_v short_a in_o its_o kind_n and_o insufficient_a to_o answer_v the_o perfect_a and_o good_a will_n of_o god_n either_o in_o your_o own_o soul_n or_o upon_o the_o nation_n so_o it_o be_v corrupt_v open_o deface_v and_o for_o guilt_n reject_v because_o it_o be_v pollute_v it_o be_v not_o your_o rest_n to_o abide_v and_o persist_v in_o a_o way_n and_o state_n disow_v and_o refuse_v by_o god_n be_v not_o only_a sloth_n and_o ignorance_n but_o unbelief_n and_o disobedience_n god_n never_o pull_v down_o one_o dispensation_n but_o he_o provide_v another_o if_o you_o be_v
shall_v only_o charge_v the_o principle_n that_o be_v our_o seek_a self_n liberty_n or_o liberty_n for_o ourselves_o whatever_o good_a be_v in_o the_o thing_n it_o do_v and_o will_v miscarry_v so_o long_o as_o it_o be_v upon_o this_o bottom_n self_n such_o be_v the_o large_a and_o good_a nature_n of_o the_o god_n and_o father_n of_o all_o that_o he_o will_v blast_v and_o wither_v every_o to_o reign_v with_o he_o nor_o will_v he_o yea_o though_o it_o clothe_v itself_o with_o salvation_n either_o of_o our_o own_o of_o other_o soul_n which_o be_v a_o thing_n most_o agreeable_a to_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n yet_o will_v he_o never_o save_v any_o in_o that_o spirit_n but_o resist_v and_o oppose_v that_o salvation_n and_o all_o the_o grace_n and_o gift_n whereby_o man_n seek_v it_o till_o he_o kill_v that_o root_n of_o self_n for_o he_o have_v give_v it_o as_o a_o law_n to_o christ_n and_o so_o by_o christ_n to_o man_n he_o that_o will_v save_v his_o life_n shall_v lose_v it_o poison_n there_o be_v in_o the_o nature_n of_o it_o and_o how_o dangerous_o it_o will_v corrupt_v the_o best_a thing_n in_o man_n where_o ever_o it_o be_v admit_v it_o will_v and_o do_v kill_v the_o life_n of_o grace_n if_o god_n kill_v â—ot_n it_o and_o though_o at_o first_o it_o seem_v zealous_a and_o holy_a yet_o it_o will_v break_v out_o into_o gross_a self-seeking_a for_o he_o that_o pray_v preach_v believe_v study_n and_o receive_v the_o promise_n of_o eternal_a life_n to_o himself_o or_o to_o a_o party_n which_o be_v but_o a_o large_a self_n will_v at_o last_o in_o all_o thing_n mind_n himself_o and_o so_o will_v be_v cruel_a covetous_a ambitious_a and_o any_o thing_n that_o self_n suggest_v to_o he_o and_o this_o i_o find_v to_o be_v the_o root_n of_o all_o that_o narrowness_n that_o be_v in_o this_o party_n and_o of_o that_o gross_a self-seeking_a that_o all_o man_n take_v notice_n of_o there_o be_v at_o the_o bottom_n of_o the_o whole_a business_n and_o at_o the_o root_n of_o all_o their_o religion_n a_o spirit_n to_o seek_v their_o own_o salvation_n liberty_n exaltation_n and_o honour_n and_o be_v fix_v and_o bind_v to_o this_o principle_n they_o can_v never_o enlarge_v themselves_o to_o the_o good_a of_o the_o whole_a nor_o be_v they_o ever_o capable_a of_o any_o large_a principle_n nor_o can_v they_o be_v till_o this_o state_n be_v slay_v in_o they_o and_o though_o they_o shift_v from_o one_o thing_n to_o another_o they_o will_v find_v no_o rest_n till_o they_o subject_n this_o state_n to_o loss_n and_o thereby_o come_v to_o partake_v of_o the_o largeness_n of_o the_o love_n of_o god_n and_o christ_n who_o teach_v we_o to_o seek_v not_o our_o own_o but_o the_o thing_n of_o other_o not_o our_o own_o liberty_n or_o salvation_n but_o the_o liberty_n and_o salvation_n of_o other_o and_o therefore_o the_o lord_n of_o all_o that_o he_o may_v discover_v judge_n and_o destroy_v this_o principle_n so_o contrary_a to_o his_o own_o love_n and_o life_n have_v so_o order_v it_o that_o he_o that_o will_v not_o deny_v himself_o his_o life_n liberty_n and_o salvation_n for_o the_o good_a of_o other_o in_o conformity_n unto_o christ_n and_o in_o and_o party_n or_o they_o that_o will_v confirm_v and_o strengthen_v yourselves_o by_o serve_v of_o you_o and_o that_o all_o the_o while_o you_o be_v busy_a in_o this_o work_n you_o can_v not_o but_o oppress_v other_o not_o only_o your_o enemy_n but_o the_o whole_a nation_n and_o that_o none_o of_o you_o can_v ever_o produce_v any_o public_a ease_n liberty_n or_o advantage_n to_o the_o people_n but_o on_o the_o contrary_a tax_n and_o burden_n if_o you_o have_v but_o so_o much_o ingenuity_n as_o to_o judge_v yourselves_o state_n and_o spirit_n and_o justify_v god_n and_o christ_n we_o shall_v
