here_o in_o a_o confuse_a mass_n nay_o a_o mass_n i_o may_v not_o call_v it_o they_o be_v but_o in_o a_o principle_n not_o bring_v forth_o we_o have_v sometime_o hint_n notion_n apprehension_n of_o great_a glory_n but_o where_o be_v the_o integral_a part_n that_o shall_v make_v this_o a_o entire_a piece_n here_o be_v a_o glimpse_n a_o glance_n and_o eye_n a_o little_a finger_n as_o it_o be_v say_v of_o one_o of_o the_o twin_n that_o put_v forth_o his_o hand_n and_o draw_v it_o back_o in_o the_o case_n of_o zarez_n and_o pharez_n so_o there_o be_v a_o put_v forth_o of_o the_o hand_n but_o alas_o the_o body_n be_v yet_o in_o the_o dark_a and_o keep_v behind_o all_o those_o glorious_a part_n they_o be_v but_o in_o seed_n yea_o 3_o as_o seed_n be_v not_o only_o dark_a and_o confuse_a but_o it_o be_v dead_a as_o our_o saviour_n say_v and_o we_o all_o know_v by_o experience_n you_o may_v take_v that_o seed_n which_o will_v sow_v a_o whole_a field_n and_o bring_v forth_o a_o plentiful_a harvest_n you_o may_v lay_v it_o up_o in_o your_o garner_n year_n and_o yet_o you_o have_v not_o one_o seed_n more_o at_o the_o year_n end_n then_o when_o you_o lay_v it_o up_o for_o alas_o the_o seed_n be_v a_o dead_a thing_n unless_o it_o fall_v into_o the_o earth_n as_o our_o saviour_n say_v so_o be_v we_o we_o be_v dead_a as_o the_o apostle_n say_v and_o our_o life_n be_v hide_v with_o christ_n in_o god_n there_o be_v the_o earth_n we_o must_v fall_v into_o there_o be_v our_o mother_n earth_n our_o principle_n with_o which_o we_o must_v unite_v must_v be_v in_o union_n with_o it_o by_o a_o mystical_a death_n you_o know_v that_o this_o natural_a death_n be_v but_o a_o ordinance_n to_o serve_v in_o the_o knowledge_n and_o doctrine_n of_o this_o mystical_a death_n unto_o we_o it_o be_v ordain_v for_o this_o end_n unto_o believer_n it_o come_v in_o original_o by_o sin_n yet_o be_v come_v in_o god_n make_v use_v of_o it_o for_o this_o service_n to_o represent_v to_o our_o eye_n and_o sense_n that_o we_o must_v thus_o die_v out_o of_o ourselves_o as_o the_o body_n die_v into_o its_o original_n that_o so_o it_o may_v be_v in_o union_n with_o the_o fullness_n of_o the_o whole_a earth_n so_o we_o must_v die_v out_o of_o our_o particular_n into_o our_o own_o source_n or_o principle_n the_o new_a jerusalem_n that_o be_v from_o above_o that_o spirit_n of_o which_o we_o be_v from_o whence_o we_o be_v take_v as_o adam_n body_n be_v take_v from_o the_o earth_n so_o we_o be_v take_v from_o a_o divine_a ground_n and_o into_o that_o must_v we_o die_v and_o fall_v that_o so_o i_o say_v we_o may_v be_v in_o union_n &_o in_o fellowship_n with_o the_o fullness_n of_o that_o principle_n i_o may_v observe_v other_o thing_n from_o the_o seed_n as_o be_v course_n in_o its_o appearance_n a_o course_n cover_v all_o of_o you_o know_v that_o the_o husk_n of_o a_o seed_n be_v but_o a_o course_n thing_n so_o be_v the_o present_a form_n and_o appearance_n of_o the_o saint_n i_o do_v not_o speak_v of_o the_o bodily_a appearance_n only_o though_o that_o be_v but_o a_o course_n thing_n in_o comparison_n of_o the_o glorious_a body_n that_o we_o shall_v have_v when_o christ_n appear_v but_o the_o body_n of_o our_o work_n and_o righteousness_n and_o all_o our_o act_n as_o we_o be_v professor_n or_o saint_n it_o be_v but_o a_o course_n thing_n in_o comparison_n you_o know_v there_o be_v if_o you_o take_v off_o the_o husk_n of_o a_o kernel_n there_o be_v a_o fine_a white_a kernel_n within_o so_o i_o say_v there_o be_v a_o pure_a thing_n lie_v under_o a_o dark_a and_o course_n cover_v in_o we_o it_o do_v not_o yet_o appear_v that_o be_v the_o first_o argument_n the_o second_o argument_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o this_o state_n that_o we_o look_v for_o be_v from_o these_o word_n now_o be_v we_o the_o son_n of_o god_n compare_v with_o the_o first_o word_n of_o the_o one_a vers_n behold_v what_o manner_n of_o love_n have_v the_o father_n bestow_v upon_o as_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v call_v the_o son_n of_o god_n my_o argument_n from_o hence_o be_v this_o if_o we_o be_v the_o son_n of_o god_n that_o do_v import_v a_o great_a glory_n foundation_n that_o we_o be_v child_n that_o we_o be_v son_n you_o know_v that_o the_o father_n do_v communicate_v not_o only_o his_o worldly_a substance_n not_o only_o his_o good_n his_o riches_n his_o inheritance_n but_o his_o life_n his_o spirit_n and_o his_o nature_n unto_o his_o child_n now_o if_o you_o will_v but_o take_v in_o the_o strength_n of_o this_o consideration_n we_o must_v i_o say_v consider_v the_o one_a vers_n behold_v what_o manner_n of_o love_n etc._n etc._n love_n you_o know_v be_v the_o principle_n of_o propagation_n in_o the_o creature_n and_o so_o be_v love_n in_o god_n and_o it_o be_v such_o a_o kind_n of_o love_n this_o propagate_a love_n it_o do_v intend_v the_o bestow_n of_o the_o dear_a life_n and_o joy_n to_o the_o beget_v we_o be_v say_v to_o be_v bear_v of_o the_o will_n of_o god_n now_o you_o know_v that_o every_o man_n will_n be_v call_v his_o pleasure_n because_o indeed_o the_o will_n be_v the_o very_a subject_n and_o source_n of_o all_o pleasure_n and_o in_o all_o comparison_n between_o the_o understanding_n and_o the_o will_n they_o agree_v in_o this_o that_o the_o understanding_n do_v form_n and_o draw_v as_o i_o may_v say_v the_o lineament_n of_o truth_n but_o the_o will_n give_v the_o life_n touch_v the_o life_n of_o intellectual_a creature_n be_v the_o pleasure_n of_o their_o will_n in_o the_o draught_n of_o their_o this_o love_n the_o product_n of_o his_o love_n upon_o which_o he_o do_v design_n to_o display_v all_o the_o lovelyness_n that_o be_v in_o himself_o and_o therefore_o now_o what_o think_v you_o have_v the_o love_n of_o god_n give_v that_o glorious_a account_n of_o itself_o in_o the_o present_a state_n of_o the_o saint_n be_v this_o all_o the_o love_n which_o god_n have_v to_o shed_v down_o upon_o we_o this_o that_o we_o experience_n in_o this_o present_a state_n why_o if_o god_n love_v he_o will_v love_v like_o himself_o and_o the_o effect_n of_o this_o love_n shall_v resemble_v that_o great_a now_o what_o be_v the_o surfeit_v and_o drunkeness_n there_o speak_v of_o sure_o our_o saviour_n i_o conceive_v will_v not_o suppose_v that_o surfeit_v and_o drunkeness_n in_o the_o letter_n be_v chargeable_a upon_o professor_n and_o i_o wish_v that_o many_o professor_n be_v not_o too_o much_o taint_v with_o this_o even_o with_o gusling_z and_o drink_v from_o one_o tavern_n to_o another_o and_o from_o one_o good_a meeting_n to_o another_o but_o there_o be_v another_o kind_n of_o surfeit_v and_o drunkeness_n you_o know_v what_o the_o apostle_n say_v be_v not_o drink_v with_o wine_n wherein_o be_v excess_n but_o be_v fill_v with_o the_o spirit_n this_o drunkenness_n be_v set_v in_o opposition_n to_o the_o spirit_n wine_n to_o the_o spirit_n from_o whence_o i_o gather_v that_o whatsoever_o have_v the_o form_n or_o appearance_n of_o spirit_n and_o be_v not_o spirit_n all_o that_o be_v caution_v in_o that_o place_n to_o be_v abstain_v from_o i_o remember_v the_o say_n of_o a_o good_a man_n that_o come_v from_o a_o meeting_n as_o we_o may_v be_v his_o report_n be_v this_o that_o they_o be_v so_o drink_v he_o mean_v not_o that_o they_o be_v drink_v with_o wine_n but_o drink_v with_o their_o gift_n selfsufficiency_n this_o be_v surfeit_v and_o drunkenness_n and_o i_o wish_v with_o all_o my_o soul_n that_o they_o that_o do_v profess_v the_o lord_n and_o those_o that_o think_v they_o be_v on_o the_o upper_a ground_n and_o have_v the_o advantage_n of_o other_o that_o they_o will_v take_v heed_n of_o this_o surfeit_v and_o drunkenness_n of_o surfeit_v of_o their_o form_n of_o their_o attainment_n think_v they_o be_v come_v to_o zion_n because_o it_o may_v be_v they_o be_v come_v to_o the_o letter_n of_o a_o poor_a administration_n though_o alas_o as_o it_o be_v manage_v among_o many_o if_o not_o most_o at_o this_o very_a day_n alas_o it_o be_v a_o mere_a babel_n the_o one_o say_v it_o be_v thus_o and_o another_o say_v it_o be_v thus_o whereas_o i_o tell_v you_o i_o be_o not_o against_o any_o of_o they_o i_o be_o not_o against_o the_o baptist_n nor_o against_o the_o congregational_a way_n that_o do_v baptize_v their_o child_n the_o lord_n do_v bear_v they_o both_o and_o he_o be_v able_a to_o make_v they_o both_o to_o stand_v but_o this_o cry_v out_o lo_o here_o this_o be_v the_o way_n and_o the_o other_o cry_v on_o it_o lo_o that_o be_v the_o way_n whereas_o it_o be_v the_o right_a spirit_n in_o each_o that_o be_v that_o will_v justify_v each_o administration_n and_o except_o there_o be_v the_o unity_n of_o the_o spirit_n maintain_v in_o the_o bond_n of_o peace_n i_o tell_v you_o our_o church_n be_v a_o mere_a babel_n and_o yet_o there_o be_v among_o they_o that_o do_v maintain_v this_o unity_n god_n forbid_v i_o shall_v think_v otherwise_o there_o be_v a_o seed_n among_o the_o church_n that_o be_v of_o the_o large_a spirit_n and_o do_v not_o set_v up_o themselves_o over_o christ_n but_o shine_v forth_o according_a to_o the_o christ_n to_o be_v the_o time_n of_o christ_n appearance_n the_o all_o that_o we_o be_v to_o expect_v i_o confess_v it_o be_v not_o to_o be_v wonder_v at_o in_o the_o prelatical_a church_n that_o they_o will_v have_v we_o to_o expect_v nothing_o but_o tribulation_n in_o this_o world_n and_o persecution_n the_o church_n of_o christ_n say_v they_o must_v travel_v under_o the_o cross_n nntil_o the_o last_o judgement_n until_o they_o come_v to_o heaven_n though_o they_o mind_n not_o to_o do_v so_o themselves_o nay_o this_o they_o preach_v to_o other_o that_o they_o themselves_o may_v ride_v here_o be_v not_o ground_n rich_a enough_o that_o be_v it_o be_v not_o dark_a enough_o to_o set_v off_o the_o love_n and_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o this_o man_n at_o his_o man_n at_o his_o
