not_o of_o the_o other_o thus_o it_o be_v in_o this_o case_n if_o a_o man_n will_v discern_v spiritual_a excellency_n he_o must_v have_v a_o spiritual_a eye_n if_o he_o will_v taste_v sweetness_n in_o the_o service_n of_o god_n he_o must_v have_v a_o spiritual_a palate_n but_o now_o the_o unregenerate_a be_v carnal_a and_o earthly_a their_o spirit_n lie_v grovel_v upon_o the_o earth_n and_o their_o mind_n be_v link_v and_o fasten_v to_o thing_n below_o 1_o cor._n 2.14_o the_o natural_a man_n receive_v not_o the_o thing_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n for_o they_o be_v foolishness_n to_o he_o neither_o can_v he_o know_v they_o because_o they_o be_v spiritual_o discern_v if_o a_o blind_a man_n do_v not_o perceive_v the_o beauty_n and_o loveliness_n of_o the_o sun_n it_o be_v not_o from_o any_o defect_n in_o that_o glorious_a body_n but_o through_o the_o defect_n of_o his_o sight_n so_o if_o the_o wicked_a do_v not_o see_v the_o profit_n of_o godliness_n it_o be_v not_o through_o any_o defect_n in_o religion_n but_o because_o themselves_o be_v blind_a and_o can_v see_v afar_o off_o 2_o pet._n 1.9_o 3._o the_o great_a reason_n why_o person_n go_v empty_a away_o from_o the_o service_n of_o god_n and_o so_o bring_v up_o a_o evil_a report_n upon_o godliness_n as_o if_o it_o be_v a_o unprofitable_a work_n be_v because_o their_o heart_n be_v not_o upright_o in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o lord_n but_o they_o deal_v false_o in_o his_o covenant_n they_o do_v their_o work_n by_o half_n and_o in_o a_o slight_a and_o superficial_a way_n and_o so_o fall_v short_a of_o their_o expectation_n in_o the_o performance_n of_o it_o isa_n 58.3_o wherefore_o have_v we_o fast_v say_v they_o and_o thou_o see_v not_o wherefore_o have_v we_o afflict_v our_o soul_n and_o thou_o take_v
