be_v he_o that_o care_v for_o we_o and_o this_o imply_v in_o it_o these_o two_o thing_n 1._o in_o general_n that_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n govern_v the_o world_n and_o concern_v itself_o in_o the_o affair_n of_o man_n and_o dispose_v of_o all_o event_n that_o happen_v to_o we_o 2._o more_o particular_o that_o this_o providence_n be_v peculiar_o concern_v for_o good_a man_n and_o that_o he_o take_v a_o special_a care_n of_o they_o and_o their_o concern_v he_o care_v for_o you_o the_o apostle_n speak_v this_o to_o they_o not_o only_o as_o man_n but_o as_o christian_n and_o thus_o the_o psalmist_n from_o who_o these_o word_n seem_v to_o be_v take_v do_v apply_v and_o limit_v this_o promise_n cast_v thy_o burden_n upon_o the_o lord_n and_o he_o shall_v sustain_v thou_o he_o shall_v never_o suffer_v the_o righteous_a to_o be_v move_v 1._o that_o god_n take_v care_n of_o we_o imply_v in_o general_a that_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n govern_v the_o world_n and_o concern_v that_o be_v too_o large_a and_o intricate_a a_o argument_n for_o a_o short_a discourse_n and_o have_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o nicety_n and_o difficulty_n in_o it_o and_o though_o it_o be_v a_o fundamental_a principle_n of_o religion_n and_o have_v be_v almost_o general_o entertain_v and_o believe_v by_o mankind_n and_o that_o upon_o very_o good_a reason_n yet_o because_o the_o vindication_n of_o many_o particular_a appearance_n of_o providence_n do_v in_o a_o great_a measure_n depend_v upon_o a_o full_a view_n and_o comprehension_n of_o the_o whole_a design_n therefore_o we_o must_v necessary_o refer_v ourselves_o for_o full_a satisfaction_n as_o to_o several_a difficulty_n and_o objection_n to_o the_o other_o world_n when_o we_o shall_v see_v god_n work_n together_o with_o the_o relation_n of_o every_o part_n to_o the_o whole_a design_n and_o then_o many_o particular_a passage_n which_o may_v now_o seem_v odd_a and_o crooked_a as_o we_o look_v upon_o they_o by_o themselves_o will_v in_o relation_n to_o the_o whole_a appear_v to_o have_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o reason_n and_o regularity_n in_o they_o therefore_o i_o shall_v at_o present_v only_o brief_o and_o in_o the_o bring_v upon_o the_o old_a world_n the_o spirit_n of_o god_n give_v this_o reason_n why_o the_o judgement_n be_v so_o universal_a because_o all_o flesh_n have_v corrupt_v his_o way_n upon_o the_o earth_n and_o the_o reason_n why_o he_o save_v noah_n and_o his_o family_n be_v because_o in_o this_o general_a corruption_n of_o mankind_n he_o alone_o be_v righteous_a thou_o have_v i_o see_v righteous_a before_o i_o in_o this_o generation_n so_o likewise_o in_o that_o miraculous_a judgement_n of_o korah_n and_o his_o company_n when_o god_n make_v a_o new_a thing_n and_o the_o earth_n open_v her_o mouth_n to_o swallow_v they_o up_o none_o perish_v but_o he_o and_o his_o complice_n the_o rest_n have_v warning_n give_v they_o by_o god_n to_o remove_v from_o the_o tent_n of_o those_o judgement_n of_o god_n but_o in_o the_o mean_a time_n we_o may_v receive_v sufficient_a assurance_n of_o this_o both_o from_o natural_a reason_n and_o from_o divine_a revelation_n 1._o from_o natural_a reason_n which_o tell_v we_o that_o god_n love_v righteousness_n and_o hate_v iniquity_n and_o consequent_o that_o it_o must_v be_v agreeable_a to_o his_o nature_n to_o countenance_n and_o
