be_v good_a and_o embrace_v it_o and_o what_o be_v evil_a to_o it_o and_o reject_v it_o so_o in_o the_o humane_a faculty_n those_o of_o his_o intellect_n and_o will_n there_o be_v a_o proportionate_v of_o the_o faculty_n to_o the_o object_n whereby_o the_o former_a discern_v truth_n from_o falsehood_n and_o moral_a good_a from_o moral_a evil_n honestum_fw-la &_o decorum_n from_o indecens_fw-la &_o temperance_n and_o all_o the_o train_n of_o moral_a virtue_n these_o be_v unite_v to_o the_o will_n in_o their_o act_n and_o constant_a habit_n the_o will_n enjoy_v a_o great_a moral_a good_a tranquillity_n of_o mind_n complacency_n and_o delight_n 2._o the_o sovereign_n good_a which_o be_v the_o glorious_a god_n reach_v after_o by_o the_o will_n as_o the_o chief_a good_a and_o enjoy_v in_o the_o manifestation_n of_o his_o love_n favour_n presence_n influence_n and_o beneficence_n this_o fill_v the_o vast_a motion_n of_o the_o will_n fill_v it_o with_o peace_n contentation_n and_o glory_n and_o keep_v it_o nevertheless_o in_o a_o perpetual_a motion_n by_o return_n of_o gratitude_n humble_a love_n obedience_n and_o all_o imaginable_a extension_n of_o itself_o for_o the_o service_n honour_n and_o glory_n of_o that_o god_n that_o have_v thus_o bountiful_o give_v to_o the_o soul_n a_o power_n in_o some_o measure_n receptive_a of_o his_o infinite_a self_n and_o fit_v in_o the_o soul_n in_o conjunction_n with_o a_o immortal_a body_n as_o shall_v be_v show_v in_o its_o due_a time_n therefore_o proportionable_a to_o this_o double_a state_n be_v that_o fruition_n which_o almighty_a god_n design_v for_o his_o end_n 1._o in_o this_o life_n the_o proportionable_a fruition_n of_o man_n be_v that_o which_o be_v compatible_a to_o the_o state_n he_o have_v here_o namely_o the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n and_o his_o work_n in_o a_o measure_n suitable_a to_o the_o intellectual_a capacity_n in_o this_o life_n the_o sense_n of_o the_o divine_a love_n favour_n goodness_n and_o protection_n the_o sense_n of_o his_o own_o duty_n to_o god_n to_o man_n to_o himself_o with_o a_o cheerful_a endeavour_n to_o observe_v it_o and_o from_o these_o arise_v dominion_n over_o his_o passion_n and_o inferior_a faculty_n and_o the_o due_a place_n order_v and_o moderation_n of_o they_o a_o resignation_n of_o his_o will_n to_o the_o divine_a will_n and_o a_o dependence_n upon_o his_o goodness_n power_n and_o all-sufficiency_n and_o from_o all_o these_o arise_v peace_n of_o conscience_n contentation_n and_o tranquillity_n of_o mind_n in_o which_o even_o the_o wise_a of_o heathen_n place_v the_o great_a happiness_n acquirable_a in_o this_o life_n 2._o after_o this_o life_n a_o immutable_a state_n of_o everlasting_a rest_n and_o happiness_n in_o the_o beatifical_a vision_n of_o god_n and_o fruition_n of_o so_o much_o of_o his_o goodness_n and_o beneficence_n as_o a_o glorify_a soul_n be_v capable_a of_o for_o it_o be_v reasonable_a that_o the_o end_n of_o
