of_o the_o flesh_n &_o of_o humane_a wisdone_v we_o agree_v indeed_o with_o our_o adversary_n in_o this_o that_o certain_a doubt_n arise_v sometime_o of_o salvation_n even_o in_o the_o godly_a but_o herein_o we_o disagree_v from_o they_o for_o that_o they_o attribute_v this_o unto_o hope_n but_o we_o say_v that_o it_o come_v of_o humane_a infirmity_n only_o and_o that_o it_o be_v daily_o to_o be_v correct_v so_o that_o let_v a_o man_n think_v that_o he_o have_v so_o much_o profit_v in_o faith_n and_o hope_n how_o much_o he_o fele_v himself_o the_o more_o constant_a and_o firm_a but_o how_o these_o evil_n spring_v not_o of_o faith_n or_o of_o hope_n but_o of_o our_o own_o corruption_n we_o have_v before_o declare_v by_o a_o apt_a similitude_n and_o will_v now_o repete_fw-la the_o same_o again_o no_o man_n can_v deny_v but_o that_o the_o mathematical_a science_n be_v most_o certain_a wherefore_o he_o which_o have_v learn_v they_o exact_o bold_o pronounce_v &_o nothing_o doubt_v of_o can_v not_o easy_o discern_v the_o true_a hope_n and_o faith_n from_o the_o counterfeat_n and_o feign_a hope_n and_o faith_n i_o answer_v that_o by_o this_o instance_n can_v not_o be_v take_v away_o the_o property_n of_o faith_n or_o of_o hope_n for_o although_o one_o or_o two_o can_v not_o discern_v they_o itself_o how_o the_o true_a faith_n and_o hope_n be_v discern_v from_o the_o counter_a faith_n the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v not_o know_v by_o â—ay_n other_o thing_n then_o by_o itself_o yet_o they_o remain_v still_o firm_a in_o their_o own_o nature_n as_o we_o see_v it_o be_v in_o liberality_n and_o prodigality_n for_o there_o be_v many_o which_o can_v not_o distinguishe_v one_o from_o the_o other_o and_o yet_o be_v not_o therefore_o their_o propriety_n and_o condition_n take_v away_o paul_n in_o this_o place_n entreat_v of_o the_o nature_n &_o propriety_n of_o hope_n if_o thou_o will_v afterward_o demand_v how_o these_o faculty_n or_o power_n be_v discern_v from_o the_o
