we_o be_v all_o dead_a in_o the_o nest_n and_o all_o amort_a when_o we_o find_v it_o not_o and_o we_o be_v ready_a to_o say_v if_o i_o have_v these_o and_o these_o enlargement_n than_o god_n will_v man_n sin_n and_o the_o follow_v of_o god_n for_o mercy_n the_o soul_n that_o be_v thus_o content_v to_o be_v at_o god_n dispose_n it_o be_v ever_o improve_n all_o mean_n and_o help_n that_o may_v some_o thief_n that_o be_v take_v for_o a_o robbery_n and_o the_o sentence_n of_o death_n have_v pass_v against_o he_o he_o shall_v not_o neglect_v the_o use_n of_o mean_n for_o to_o save_v his_o life_n and_o to_o get_v a_o pardon_n and_o yet_o if_o he_o can_v get_v a_o pardon_n he_o must_v not_o murmur_v against_o the_o judge_n for_o condemn_v of_o he_o because_o he_o have_v do_v nothing_o but_o law_n this_o thief_n shall_v use_v mean_n for_o a_o pardon_n but_o if_o he_o can_v get_v one_o he_o shall_v be_v content_v though_o the_o sentence_n pass_v against_o he_o so_o we_o shall_v not_o be_v careless_a in_o use_v all_o mean_n for_o our_o good_a but_o still_o seek_v to_o god_n for_o mercy_n yet_o thus_o we_o must_v be_v and_o thus_o we_o ought_v to_o be_v content_v with_o whatsoever_o the_o lord_n grace_n and_o mercy_n &_o therefore_o that_o soul_n be_v not_o fit_a for_o mercy_n i_o conclude_v all_o thus_o judge_n with_o yourselves_o whether_o this_o be_v not_o a_o marvellous_a hideous_a pride_n of_o heart_n or_o no_o that_o the_o sinner_n do_v murmur_v because_o the_o lord_n will_v not_o dispense_v of_o mercy_n as_o he_o will_v himself_o either_o the_o sinner_n think_v if_o the_o heart_n allow_v of_o this_o and_o continue_v in_o this_o distemper_n the_o soul_n can_v receive_v mercy_n object_n 2_o but_o some_o may_v object_v can_v a_o man_n feel_v this_o frame_n of_o heart_n to_o be_v content_a that_o mercy_n shall_v have_v he_o in_o hell_n do_v the_o saint_n of_o god_n find_v this_o and_o can_v any_o man_n know_v this_o in_o his_o heart_n answ_n to_o this_o i_o answer_v many_o of_o god_n servant_n have_v be_v drive_v to_o this_o and_o have_v attain_v to_o it_o and_o have_v lay_v open_a the_o simplicity_n of_o their_o soul_n in_o be_v content_a with_o this_o but_o the_o secret_a passage_n of_o the_o soul_n be_v most_o subtle_a here_o and_o hard_o it_o be_v to_o find_v this_o and_o clear_o to_o discern_v this_o frame_n of_o spirit_n this_o way_n but_o the_o best_a way_n to_o guess_v it_o and_o to_o be_v able_a to_o discern_v it_o be_v this_o for_o this_o end_n you_o must_v know_v these_o three_o thing_n first_o that_o the_o soul_n out_o of_o the_o nature_n of_o it_o and_o in_o nature_n can_v but_o desire_v the_o preservation_n of_o itself_o and_o it_o be_v a_o rule_n that_o god_n have_v stamp_v in_o the_o creature_n and_o therefore_o we_o must_v not_o think_v that_o nature_n must_v or_o shall_v or_o can_v go_v further_o than_o nature_n and_o it_o be_v not_o the_o fault_n of_o nature_n that_o it_o be_v carry_v in_o this_o kind_n but_o second_o the_o soul_n be_v humble_v can_v but_o yield_v itself_o to_o be_v dispose_v of_o by_o the_o lord_n as_o he_o will_v yea_o if_o the_o lord_n will_v bring_v destruction_n upon_o it_o three_o though_o the_o soul_n sometime_o find_v a_o secret_a rebel_n against_o god_n and_o a_o grudge_n against_o the_o lord_n deal_n and_o the_o sinner_n begin_v to_o say_v these_o be_v my_o corruption_n and_o still_o my_o sin_n prevail_v against_o i_o and_o i_o shall_v one_o day_n perish_v and_o the_o lord_n seem_v not_o to_o look_v at_o i_o and_o with_o that_o the_o soul_n sometime_o grudge_v and_o repine_v at_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n yet_o the_o heart_n that_o be_v true_o humble_v grudge_v at_o himself_o because_o he_o have_v such_o a_o quarrel_a heart_n against_o the_o lord_n deal_v with_o he_o in_o this_o kind_n nay_o i_o have_v know_v many_o in_o the_o anguish_n of_o heart_n when_o they_o have_v thus_o quarrel_v with_o the_o almighty_a they_o have_v fall_v into_o a_o desperate_a extremity_n and_o think_v they_o have_v commit_v that_o sin_n against_o the_o holy_a ghost_n insomuch_o that_o it_o have_v make_v they_o to_o walk_v more_o humble_o before_o god_n all_o their_o day_n but_o i_o say_v when_o the_o soul_n find_v these_o distemper_n it_o labour_v to_o undermine_v they_o and_o it_o dare_v not_o quarrel_n against_o god_n it_o dare_v not_o but_o yield_v and_o this_o be_v a_o argument_n that_o the_o soul_n be_v content_a second_o the_o soul_n that_o be_v content_v come_v to_o be_v well_o pay_v with_o this_o that_o mercy_n shall_v take_v away_o from_o he_o what_o it_o will_v friend_n and_o mean_n and_o ease_n and_o liberty_n and_o credit_n and_o whatsoever_o it_o be_v that_o the_o heart_n have_v love_v most_o it_o be_v content_a that_o god_n beside_o himself_o so_o that_o the_o party_n which_o be_v before_o a_o man_n of_o great_a reach_n and_o of_o able_a part_n and_o be_v admire_v and_o wonder_v at_o for_o his_o wisdom_n and_o government_n he_o be_v now_o account_v a_o silly_a sot_n and_o a_o mad_a man_n in_o regard_n of_o the_o horror_n of_o heart_n that_o have_v possess_v he_o in_o so_o much_o that_o the_o husband_n say_v oh_o my_o wife_n be_v undo_v and_o the_o father_n say_v my_o child_n be_v undo_v he_o be_v a_o fine_a witty_a child_n before_o but_o now_o he_o be_v a_o very_a sot_n yea_o the_o mercy_n of_o god_n will_v not_o leave_v a_o man_n before_o he_o be_v content_a to_o be_v a_o despise_a man_n that_o he_o may_v find_v mercy_n and_o be_v save_v and_o mercy_n will_v pluck_v away_o all_o those_o part_n god_n answer_v not_o his_o will_n and_o his_o heart_n desire_v when_o the_o lord_n have_v prevail_v with_o the_o people_n heart_n
true_a the_o saint_n of_o god_n be_v sometime_o discontent_v and_o discourage_v but_o when_o they_o see_v it_o they_o be_v content_a that_o the_o word_n shall_v work_v upon_o they_o against_o it_o and_o they_o complain_v of_o these_o wretched_a heart_n and_o when_o they_o find_v this_o discontentednesse_n they_o quarrel_n with_o themselves_o for_o it_o and_o a_o good_a man_n will_v even_o of_o god_n and_o this_o shake_v his_o freehold_n yet_o when_o a_o good_a heart_n see_v the_o treason_n he_o do_v not_o join_v with_o it_o but_o he_o complain_v to_o the_o lord_n of_o it_o and_o say_v they_o strong_a so_o if_o this_o work_n of_o humiliation_n be_v not_o deep_a and_o low_a enough_o all_o the_o frame_n of_o a_o man_n profession_n will_v fall_v down_o there_o be_v no_o mend_n of_o it_o if_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o house_n be_v sound_a though_o the_o thatch_n and_o spar_v fly_v of_o there_o be_v some_o help_n but_o if_o that_o be_v naught_o the_o house_n will_v down_o whatsoever_o the_o other_o be_v so_o many_o weakness_n may_v be_v succour_v and_o the_o heart_n may_v be_v sustain_v under_o they_o all_o if_o this_o work_n of_o humiliation_n be_v good_a but_o if_o
