and_o find_v such_o comfort_n as_o they_o have_v and_o this_o be_v the_o thing_n that_o the_o soul_n be_v chief_o set_v upon_o now_o all_o this_o while_n that_o we_o come_v thus_o to_o christ_n we_o do_v and_o this_o be_v a_o great_a measure_n of_o liberty_n that_o a_o child_n of_o god_n can_v tell_v how_o to_o make_v a_o advantage_n of_o all_o the_o affliction_n he_o meet_v with_o in_o this_o world_n these_o thing_n do_v but_o serve_v his_o turn_n and_o afterward_o he_o will_v say_v he_o can_v have_v miss_v none_o of_o they_o so_o that_o this_o be_v a_o second_o work_n of_o the_o spirit_n this_o in_o truth_n and_o that_o with_o comfort_n and_o honesty_n you_o may_v reason_n this_o be_v the_o frame_n of_o my_o spirit_n such_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n and_o such_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o godly_a and_o if_o in_o any_o thing_n you_o fail_v your_o spirit_n be_v against_o it_o do_v you_o find_v that_o you_o be_v in_o some_o measure_n invest_v with_o a_o royal_a spirit_n that_o you_o can_v overcome_v yourselves_o and_o the_o temptation_n of_o this_o world_n and_o be_v you_o able_a to_o offer_v up_o spiritual_a sacrifice_n to_o god_n of_o prayer_n and_o these_o be_v not_o the_o goodly_a stone_n that_o your_o heart_n and_o eye_n be_v set_v upon_o but_o you_o have_v great_a matter_n than_o these_o to_o mind_n then_o i_o say_v it_o be_v the_o very_a free_a from_o the_o service_n of_o man_n but_o as_o our_o master_n and_o governor_n say_v so_o it_o must_v be_v if_o we_o yet_o know_v not_o how_o to_o rule_v man_n for_o our_o own_o advantage_n we_o have_v not_o yet_o receive_v the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n we_o can_v tell_v how_o to_o serve_v our_o master_n with_o liberty_n of_o spirit_n we_o know_v not_o how_o to_o make_v advantage_n of_o they_o justification_n in_o we_o and_o he_o discern_v that_o god_n have_v wrought_v a_o change_n in_o he_o and_o then_o these_o several_a grace_n though_o in_o themselves_o and_o work_v one_o opposite_a to_o to_o we_o the_o more_o be_v we_o shame_v of_o ourselves_o &_o inward_o grieve_v for_o our_o shameless_a carriage_n if_o therefore_o you_o only_o find_v joy_n in_o hear_v that_o may_v deceive_v you_o it_o be_v not_o the_o shortness_n of_o the_o continuance_n that_o argue_v the_o unsoundnesse_n of_o the_o joy_n but_o the_o want_n of_o this_o combination_n that_o will_v argue_v the_o falsehood_n of_o it_o if_o god_n yoke_n not_o spiritual_a joy_n with_o spiritual_a mourning_n then_o suspect_v your_o joy_n for_o it_o do_v not_o accompany_v salvation_n unto_o life_n and_o in_o very_a deed_n this_o you_o shall_v find_v to_o be_v true_a the_o joy_n of_o live_a soul_n in_o christ_n though_o that_o oftentimes_o be_v soon_o go_v yet_o it_o leave_v this_o spirit_n of_o mourning_n which_o keep_v possession_n for_o it_o and_o that_o many_o time_n for_o a_o long_a time_n and_o you_o may_v read_v your_o comfort_n in_o the_o sorrow_n that_o it_o have_v leave_v behind_o for_o there_o be_v as_o much_o cause_n of_o comfort_n in_o this_o sorrow_n as_o in_o the_o joy_n when_o you_o have_v it_o when_o you_o see_v your_o soul_n can_v mourn_v unfeigned_o for_o that_o you_o see_v so_o good_a a_o god_n to_o such_o a_o wretch_n this_o very_a comfortable_a sorrow_n that_o be_v leave_v in_o thy_o heart_n be_v a_o undoubted_a pledge_n that_o it_o be_v not_o a_o vanish_v joy_n the_o power_n and_o work_v of_o it_o last_v long_o and_o will_v abide_v in_o the_o soul_n for_o ever_o a_o man_n will_v in_o such_o a_o case_n mourn_v for_o his_o sin_n while_o he_o live_v if_o you_o have_v therefore_o find_v your_o joy_n mix_v with_o sorrow_n it_o be_v right_a else_o it_o be_v but_o a_o fade_a hypocritical_a and_o false_a joy_n again_o further_o how_o do_v you_o find_v your_o heart_n affect_v with_o the_o duty_n of_o god_n worship_n do_v you_o come_v to_o duty_n marvellous_a unwilling_o that_o if_o you_o can_v avoid_v it_o you_o will_v not_o keep_v such_o duty_n in_o your_o house_n and_o if_o it_o must_v needs_o be_v you_o put_v it_o upon_o any_o body_n rather_o than_o upon_o yourself_o you_o may_v be_v a_o live_a christian_n but_o your_o heart_n be_v in_o a_o dead_a frame_n at_o that_o time_n and_o if_o it_o be_v always_o so_o with_o you_o you_o never_o do_v true_o live_v but_o if_o you_o find_v your_o spirit_n at_o least_o your_o heart_n come_v on_o most_o willing_o to_o christian_a duty_n that_o you_o perform_v they_o like_o freewill_n offering_n not_o free_a so_o as_o without_o warrant_n from_o god_n word_n but_o free_a in_o respect_n of_o grace_n do_v but_o observe_v thus_o much_o it_o may_v be_v you_o may_v come_v off_o free_o before_o god_n because_o he_o have_v give_v you_o spiritual_a gift_n and_o you_o can_v quit_v yourselves_o well_o 11.2_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n shall_v rest_v upon_o he_o etc._n etc._n a_o spirit_n of_o power_n and_o of_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o that_o shall_v make_v he_o quick_a of_o to_o we_o and_o we_o from_o hence_o in_o time_n gather_v many_o experience_n of_o god_n acceptance_n of_o we_o and_o this_o strengthen_v our_o confidence_n in_o his_o hear_n of_o our_o petition_n our_o adoption_n assure_v we_o of_o god_n nature_n to_o be_v we_o whereby_o god_n take_v we_o to_o be_v his_o child_n and_o he_o be_v one_o that_o be_v full_a of_o grace_n and_o goodness_n nothing_o be_v want_v on_o his_o part_n he_o be_v a_o father_n to_o we_o and_o that_o be_v a_o great_a matter_n and_o in_o regard_n that_o christ_n be_v our_o advocate_n and_o atonement_n he_o bring_v all_o who_o we_o trust_v but_o knowledge_n do_v not_o so_o much_o spring_n from_o the_o testimony_n of_o any_o either_o god_n or_o man_n but_o be_v common_o gather_v from_o sense_n and_o experience_n and_o experience_n be_v both_o a_o ground_n of_o confidence_n and_o knowledge_n and_o hence_o come_v the_o knowledge_n of_o all_o
