each_o of_o they_o a_o equipollent_a signification_n as_o if_o the_o dead_a carcase_n and_o the_o whole_a man_n body_n and_o soul_n signify_v the_o same_o thing_n whereas_o i_o must_v divide_v they_o and_o say_v the_o dead_a carcase_n signify_v one_o thing_n and_o the_o whole_a man_n body_n and_o soul_n or_o the_o person_n signify_v another_o thing_n and_o though_o the_o carcase_n shall_v go_v body_n and_o present_a with_o christ_n and_o then_o say_v that_o when_o paul_n say_v we_o be_v confident_a that_o here_o by_o the_o we_o that_o be_v always_o confident_a he_o intend_v the_o soul_n or_o spirit_n of_o himself_o and_o the_o soul_n and_o spirit_n of_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o believe_a church_n and_o if_o this_o be_v the_o true_a meaning_n of_o our_o apostle_n in_o this_o case_n viz._n that_o here_o be_v intend_v the_o soul_n of_o he_o and_o his_o brethren_n which_o at_o death_n will_v be_v absent_a from_o their_o body_n and_o be_v present_a with_o the_o lord_n then_o say_v he_o it_o prove_v the_o soul_n of_o man_n separate_a and_o be_v immortal_a but_o the_o former_a say_v he_o be_v true_a therefore_o the_o late_a than_o he_o offer_v to_o prove_v that_o by_o the_o we_o who_o will_v be_v absent_a from_o the_o body_n the_o apostle_n intend_v the_o soul_n only_o of_o himself_o and_o other_o believer_n for_o what_o else_o be_v that_o of_o the_o saint_n that_o be_v absent_a from_o the_o body_n and_o present_a with_o the_o lord_n name_v the_o thing_n if_o you_o can_v for_o say_v he_o it_o can_v mean_v the_o body_n nor_o the_o whole_a person_n not_o the_o whole_a live_v our_o experience_n assure_v we_o that_o if_o the_o daily_a waste_n of_o blood_n be_v not_o supply_v by_o nourishment_n suitable_a to_o the_o consumption_n thereof_o the_o person_n must_v diminish_v in_o his_o strength_n and_o vigour_n and_o final_o perish_v and_o die_v for_o want_v of_o such_o sustenance_n as_o shall_v restore_v the_o stock_n of_o the_o waste_a blood_n and_o furnish_v incongruous_a with_o the_o be_v and_o nature_n of_o it_o because_o that_o forasmuch_o as_o we_o know_v concern_v the_o nature_n of_o such_o a_o spirit_n nutriment_n seem_v not_o to_o be_v necessary_a for_o the_o subsistence_n thereof_o and_o much_o less_o do_v breath_n and_o blood_n or_o the_o spirit_n of_o it_o seem_v pertinent_a or_o appliable_a to_o the_o nature_n of_o such_o a_o intelligent_a spirit_n and_o therefore_o if_o such_o a_o spirit_n be_v true_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n in_o man_n the_o three_o material_n before_o mention_a as_o natural_a and_o inseparable_a incident_n to_o the_o continuance_n of_o man_n life_n shall_v not_o be_v so_o absolute_o necessary_a for_o that_o design_n as_o by_o daily_a experience_n they_o be_v find_v to_o be_v but_o if_o we_o shall_v now_o turn_v to_o the_o other_o side_n and_o make_v application_n to_o that_o superfine_n yet_o material_a and_o unintelligent_a spirit_n which_o before_o have_v be_v describe_v we_o must_v find_v that_o there_o will_v be_v a_o true_a and_o real_a necessity_n of_o the_o three_o beforenamed_n natural_a incident_n for_o the_o support_n supply_v and_o continuance_n of_o its_o activity_n and_o of_o life_n natural_a incident_n to_o a_o separable_a intelligent_a and_o extraneous_a spirit_n in_o man_n and_o i_o therefore_o conclude_v it_o more_o probable_a that_o the_o spirit_n of_o life_n in_o man_n be_v rather_o material_a and_o unintelligent_a than_o that_o it_o be_v a_o intelligent_a and_o separable_a spirit_n such_o as_o mr._n w._n and_o his_o partaker_n maintain_v the_o same_o to_o be_v a_o second_o objection_n from_o nature_n against_o mr._n w_n opinion_n i_o raise_v from_o the_o further_a consideration_n of_o the_o humane_a person_n and_o more_o particular_o from_o the_o bodily_a performance_n seem_v not_o so_o much_o to_o depend_v upon_o that_o spirit_n which_o inform_v and_o act_v they_o as_o upon_o the_o structure_n soundness_n and_o perfection_n of_o the_o organ_n themselves_o without_o such_o organ_n the_o man_n can_v neither_o see_v nor_o speak_v but_o when_o the_o organ_n be_v sound_a and_o perfect_a the_o owner_n can_v use_v they_o as_o perfect_o as_o any_o
