beginning_n therefore_o our_o aim_n be_v still_o at_o the_o heart_n as_o know_v that_o unless_o it_o be_v pierce_v and_o wound_v sin_n still_o live_v in_o you_o and_o like_o a_o bitter_a and_o venomous_a root_n or_o corrupt_a spring_n will_v ever_o be_v sprout_v and_o send_v out_o bitter_a fruit_n and_o muddy_a water_n but_o if_o the_o heart_n once_o be_v save_o wound_v mortify_a cleanse_v we_o know_v the_o outward_a man_n and_o conversation_n will_v soon_o be_v reform_v as_o when_o the_o root_n be_v deaden_v the_o fruit_n and_o leaf_n fall_v of_o themselves_o and_o the_o branch_n wither_v if_o the_o fountain_n be_v once_o stop_v the_o stream_n soon_o dry_v up_o always_o which_o make_v they_o not_o so_o eager_a against_o the_o outward_a carriage_n and_o fashion_n of_o man_n always_o will_v you_o then_o know_v why_o wise_a and_o discreet_a preacher_n do_v not_o in_o their_o reproof_n insist_v so_o much_o and_o so_o long_o and_o frequent_o at_o least_o in_o inveigh_v against_o man_n wear_v of_o long_a hair_n woman_n cut_n lock_n man_n and_o woman_n garishnesse_n in_o their_o attire_n and_o fashion_n gesture_n and_o outward_a unseemly_a behaviour_n some_o kind_n of_o sport_n and_o abuse_v of_o lawful_a sport_n be_v it_o because_o they_o allow_v and_o applaud_v you_o in_o such_o thing_n nothing_o less_o make_v not_o that_o ill_a use_n of_o our_o silence_n or_o more_o spare_v reproof_n but_o know_v the_o true_a reason_n hereof_o be_v because_o we_o be_v assure_v that_o if_o these_o thing_n be_v outward_o reform_v and_o yet_o the_o heart_n not_o touch_v or_o prick_v they_o like_v samson_n hair_n once_o clip_v will_v soon_o grow_v again_o the_o heart_n not_o mortify_v all_o vice_n will_v be_v sprout_v again_o yea_o to_o cry_v out_o against_o such_o thing_n and_o not_o to_o convince_v the_o heart_n of_o the_o sinfulness_n and_o danger_n of_o they_o will_v never_o have_v any_o good_a effect_n nay_o we_o may_v i_o know_v as_o well_o hope_v to_o rob_v a_o bear_n of_o her_o whelp_n as_o to_o make_v you_o leave_v such_o fashion_n so_o long_o as_o your_o heart_n be_v set_v thereon_o experience_n show_v it_o no_o argument_n persuasion_n disswasives_n threaten_n though_o out_o of_o god_n word_n will_v prevail_v with_o man_n to_o leave_v such_o fashion_n and_o custom_n till_o the_o heart_n be_v wound_v and_o pierce_v and_o when_o this_o be_v do_v all_o these_o will_n in_o great_a part_n fall_v of_o themselves_o and_o people_n will_v not_o be_v ashamed_a to_o be_v out_o of_o the_o common_a and_o corrupt_a fashion_n and_o custom_n of_o the_o time_n give_v we_o leave_v then_o to_o preach_v such_o doctrine_n and_o make_v such_o application_n as_o may_v be_v as_o hammer_n shall_v i_o say_v yea_o as_o goad_n and_o nail_n as_o prick_n and_o of_o life_n and_o conversation_n and_o the_o outward_a behaviour_n will_v suit_v well_o with_o the_o inward_a disposition_n of_o the_o humble_a heart_n the_o heart_n as_o the_o first_o or_o master-wheel_n in_o the_o clock_n be_v well_o set_v will_v order_v both_o the_o tongue_n as_o the_o bell_n and_o conversation_n and_o outward_a behaviour_n as_o the_o hand_n and_o pointer_n there_o will_v be_v a_o consonancy_n among_o they_o let_v no_o man_n then_o deceive_v himself_o and_o tell_v i_o he_o thank_v god_n his_o heart_n be_v good_a to_o god_n ward_n and_o he_o have_v a_o good_a heart_n and_o meaning_n howsoever_o he_o outward_o frame_v to_o the_o time_n and_o common_a custom_n of_o the_o world_n if_o the_o heart_n be_v so_o good_a as_o be_v pretend_v the_o hand_n tongue_n eye_n and_o general_o the_o whole_a outward_a conversation_n will_v not_o be_v so_o dissonant_n at_o least_o so_o much_o and_o so_o constant_o as_o be_v in_o many_o who_o yet_o brag_v much_o of_o that_o which_o few_o see_v of_o their_o good_a heart_n now_o as_o save_v conversion_n must_v begin_v at_o the_o heart_n so_o it_o will_v not_o be_v much_o out_o of_o our_o way_n to_o observe_v that_o it_o and_o all_o the_o consequent_n of_o it_o all_o the_o comfort_n of_o a_o regenerate_a condition_n and_o all_o the_o happiness_n of_o heaven_n sorrow_n all_o comfort_n begin_v with_o some_o
