faith_n wherefore_o do_v thou_o doubt_v second_o be_v it_o so_o that_o they_o that_o be_v come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n be_v ofttimes_o hearty_o afraid_a that_o jesus_n christ_n will_v not_o receive_v they_o then_o this_o show_v we_o a_o reason_n of_o that_o dejection_n and_o those_o casting_n down_o that_o very_o often_o we_o perceive_v to_o be_v in_o they_o that_o be_v come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n why_o it_o be_v because_o they_o be_v afraid_a that_o jesus_n christ_n will_v not_o receive_v they_o the_o poor_a world_n they_o mock_v we_o because_o we_o be_v a_o deject_a people_n i_o mean_v because_o we_o be_v sometime_o so_o but_o they_o do_v not_o know_v the_o cause_n of_o our_o dejection_n can_v we_o be_v persuade_v even_o then_o when_o we_o be_v deject_v that_o jesus_n christ_n will_v indeed_o receive_v we_o it_o will_v put_v more_o gladness_n into_o our_o heart_n than_o in_o the_o time_n in_o which_o their_o corn_n and_o wine_n and_o oil_n increase_v psal._n 4._o 6_o 7._o but_o three_o be_v it_o so_o that_o they_o that_o be_v come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n be_v ofttimes_o hearty_o afraid_a that_o he_o will_v not_o receive_v they_o then_o this_o show_v that_o they_o that_o be_v come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n be_v a_o awake_v sensible_a consider_v people_n for_o fear_n come_v from_o sense_n and_o consideration_n of_o thing_n they_o be_v sensible_a of_o sin_n sensible_a of_o the_o curse_n due_a thereto_o they_o be_v also_o sensible_a of_o the_o glorious_a majesty_n of_o god_n and_o of_o what_o a_o bless_a bless_a thing_n it_o be_v to_o be_v receive_v of_o jesus_n christ_n the_o glory_n of_o heaven_n and_o evil_a of_o sin_n these_o thing_n they_o consider_v and_o be_v sensible_a of_o when_o i_o remember_v i_o be_o afraid_a when_o i_o consider_v i_o be_o afraid_a job_n 21._o 6._o chap._n 36._o 15._o these_o thing_n dash_v their_o spirit_n be_v awake_a and_o sensible_a be_v they_o dead_a like_o other_o man_n they_o will_v not_o be_v afflict_v with_o fear_n as_o they_o be_v for_o dead_a man_n fear_v not_o feel_v not_o care_v not_o but_o the_o live_n and_o sensible_a man_n he_o it_o be_v that_o be_v oft_o time_n hearty_o afraid_a that_o jesus_n christ_n will_v not_o receive_v he_o i_o say_v the_o dead_a and_o senseless_a be_v not_o distress_v they_o presume_v they_o be_v groundless_o confident_a who_o so_o bold_a as_o blind_a bayard_n these_o indeed_o shall_v fear_v and_o be_v afraid_a because_o they_o be_v not_o come_v to_o jesus_n christ._n o_o the_o hell_n the_o fire_n the_o pit_n the_o wrath_n of_o god_n and_o torment_n of_o hell_n that_o be_v prepare_v for_o poor_a neglect_v sinner_n how_o shall_v we_o escape_v if_o we_o neglect_v so_o great_a salvation_n heb._n 2._o 3._o but_o they_o want_v sense_n of_o thing_n and_o so_o can_v fear_v four_o be_v it_o so_o that_o they_o that_o be_v come_v to_o jesus_n christ_n be_v ofttimes_o hearty_o afraid_a that_o he_o will_v not_o receive_v they_o then_o this_o shall_v teach_v old_a christian_n to_o pity_n and_o pray_v for_o young_a comer_n you_o know_v the_o heart_n of_o a_o stranger_n for_o you_o yourselves_o be_v stranger_n in_o the_o land_n of_o egypt_n you_o know_v the_o fear_n and_o doubt_n and_o terror_n that_o take_v hold_v of_o they_o for_o that_o they_o sometime_o take_v hold_v of_o you_o wherefore_o pity_v they_o pray_v for_o they_o encourage_v they_o they_o need_v all_o this_o gild_n have_v overtake_v they_o fear_n of_o the_o wrath_n of_o god_n have_v over-taken_a they_o perhaps_o they_o be_v within_o the_o sight_n of_o hell-fire_n and_o the_o fear_n of_o go_v thither_o be_v burning-hot_a within_o their_o heart_n you_o may_v know_v how_o strange_o satan_n be_v suggest_v his_o devilish_a doubt_n unto_o they_o if_o possible_a he_o may_v sink_v and_o drown_v they_o with_o the_o multitude_n and_o weight_n of_o they_o old_a christian_n mend_v up_o the_o path_n for_o they_o take_v the_o stumbling-block_n out_o of_o the_o way_n lest_o that_o which_o be_v feeble_n and_o weak_a be_v turn_v aside_o but_o let_v it_o rather_o be_v heal_v heb._n 12._o i_o come_v now_o to_o the_o next_o observation_n and_o shall_v speak_v a_o little_a stand_v in_o his_o house_n and_o look_n upon_o he_o through_o the_o glass_n of_o his_o word_n by_o the_o help_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n they_o will_v tell_v you_o other_o thing_n but_o we_o say_v they_o all_o with_o open_a face_n behold_v as_o in_o a_o glass_n the_o glory_n of_o the_o lord_n be_v change_v into_o the_o same_o image_n from_o glory_n to_o glory_n 2_o cor._n 3._o 17_o 18._o they_o see_v glory_n in_o his_o person_n glory_n in_o his_o undertake_n glory_n in_o the_o merit_n of_o his_o blood_n and_o glory_n in_o the_o perfection_n of_o his_o righteousness_n yea_o heart-affecting_a heart-changing_a glory_n indeed_o his_o glory_n be_v veil_v and_o can_v be_v see_v but_o as_o discover_v by_o the_o father_n matth._n 11._o 27._o it_o be_v veil_v with_o flesh_n with_o meanness_n of_o descent_n from_o the_o flesh_n and_o with_o that_o ignominy_n and_o shame_n that_o attend_v he_o in_o the_o flesh_n but_o they_o that_o can_v in_o god_n light_n see_v through_o these_o thing_n they_o shall_v see_v glory_n in_o he_o yea_o such_o glory_n as_o will_v draw_v and_o pull_v their_o heart_n unto_o he_o moses_n be_v the_o adopt_a son_n of_o pharoah_n daughter_n and_o for_o aught_o i_o know_v have_v be_v king_n at_o last_o have_v he_o now_o conform_v to_o the_o present_a vanity_n that_o be_v there_o at_o court_n but_o he_o can_v not_o he_o will_v not_o do_v it_o why_o what_o be_v the_o matter_n why_o he_o see_v more_o in_o the_o worst_a of_o christ_n bear_v with_o the_o expression_n than_o he_o see_v in_o the_o best_a of_o all_o the_o treasure_n of_o the_o land_n of_o egypt_n a_o season_n esteem_v the_o reproach_n of_o christ_n great_a riches_n than_o the_o treasure_n in_o egypt_n for_o he_o have_v respect_n to_o the_o recompense_n of_o reward_n he_o forsake_v egypt_n not_o fear_v the_o wrath_n of_o the_o king_n but_o what_o embolden_v he_o thus_o to_o do_v why_o he_o endure_v for_o he_o have_v a_o sight_n of_o the_o person_n speak_v in_o the_o text_n he_o endure_v as_o see_v he_o who_o be_v invisible_a but_o i_o say_v will_v a_o sight_n of_o jesus_n have_v thus_o take_v away_o moses_n heart_n from_o a_o crown_n and_o a_o kingdom_n etc._n etc._n have_v he_o not_o by_o that_o sight_n see_v more_o in_o he_o than_o be_v to_o be_v see_v in_o they_o heb._n 11._o 24_o 25_o 26._o therefore_o when_o he_o say_v shall_v come_v to_o i_o he_o mean_v they_o shall_v have_v a_o discovery_n of_o the_o glory_n of_o the_o grace_n that_o be_v in_o he_o and_o the_o beauty_n and_o glory_n of_o that_o be_v of_o such_o virtue_n that_o it_o constrain_v and_o force_v with_o a_o bless_a violency_n the_o heart_n of_o those_o that_o be_v give_v to_o he_o moses_n of_o who_o we_o speak_v before_o be_v no_o child_n when_o he_o be_v thus_o take_v with_o the_o beauteous_a glory_n of_o this_o lord_n he_o be_v forty_o year_n old_a and_o so_o consequent_o be_v able_a be_v a_o man_n of_o that_o wisdom_n and_o opportunity_n as_o he_o be_v to_o make_v the_o best_a judgement_n of_o the_o thing_n and_o of_o the_o goodness_n of_o they_o that_o be_v before_o he_o in_o the_o land_n of_o egypt_n but_o he_o even_o he_o it_o be_v that_o set_v that_o low_a esteem_n upon_o the_o glory_n of_o egypt_n as_o to_o count_v it_o not_o worth_a the_o meddle_v with_o when_o he_o have_v a_o sight_n of_o this_o lord_n jesus_n christ._n this_o wicked_a world_n think_v that_o the_o fancy_n of_o a_o heaven_n and_o a_o happiness_n hereafter_o may_v serve_v well_o enough_o to_o take_v the_o heart_n of_o such_o as_o either_o have_v not_o the_o world_n good_a thing_n to_o delight_v in_o or_o that_o be_v fool_n and_o know_v not_o how_o to_o delight_v themselves_o therein_o but_o let_v they_o know_v again_o that_o we_o have_v have_v man_n of_o all_o rank_n and_o quality_n that_o have_v be_v take_v with_o the_o glory_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n and_o have_v leave_v all_o to_o follow_v he_o as_o abel_n seth_n enoch_n noah_n abraham_n isaac_n jacob_n moses_n samuel_n david_n solomon_n and_o who_o not_o that_o have_v either_o wit_n or_o grace_n to_o savour_v heavenly_a thing_n indeed_o none_o can_v stand_v off_o from_o he_o nor_o any_o long_o out_o against_o he_o to_o who_o he_o reveal_v the_o glory_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o he_o that_o come_v to_o i_o i_o will_v in_o no_o wise_a cast_v out_o by_o these_o word_n our_o lord_n jesus_n do_v set_v forth_o yet_o more_o ample_o the_o great_a goodness_n of_o his_o nature_n towards_o the_o come_v sinner_n before_o he_o say_v they_o shall_v come_v and_o here_o he_o declare_v that_o with_o heart_n and_o affection_n he_o will_v receive_v they_o but_o by_o the_o way_n let_v i_o speak_v one_o word_n or_o two_o to_o the_o conditionality_n of_o this_o promise_n with_o which_o now_o i_o have_v to_o do_v and_o he_o that_o come_v to_o i_o i_o will_v not_o cast_v out_o where_o it_o be_v evident_a may_n some_o say_v that_o christ_n receive_v we_o to_o mercy_n depend_v upon_o our_o come_v and_o so_o our_o salvation_n by_o christ_n be_v conditional_a if_o we_o come_v we_o shall_v be_v receive_v if_o not_o we_o shall_v not_o for_o that_o be_v full_o intimate_v by_o the_o word_n the_o promise_n of_o reception_n be_v only_o to_o he_o that_o come_v and_o he_o that_o come_v i_o answer_v that_o the_o come_v in_o these_o word_n mention_v as_o a_o condition_n of_o be_v receive_v to_o life_n be_v that_o which_o be_v promise_v yea_o conclude_v to_o be_v effect_v in_o we_o by_o the_o promise_n go_v before_o in_o those_o latter_a word_n come_v to_o christ_n be_v implicit_o require_v of_o we_o and_o in_o the_o word_n before_o that_o grace_n be_v positive_o promise_v to_o we_o it_o be_v as_o if_o he_o shall_v say_v all_o that_o the_o father_n give_v i_o shall_v come_v to_o heaven_n and_o he_o that_o come_v to_o heaven_n i_o will_v in_o no_o wise_a cast_v out_o thence_o we_o come_v to_o christ_n because_o it_o be_v say_v we_o shall_v come_v because_o it_o be_v give_v to_o we_o to_o come_v so_o that_o the_o condition_n which_o be_v express_v by_o christ_n in_o these_o late_a word_n be_v absolute_o promise_v in_o the_o word_n before_o and_o indeed_o the_o come_v here_o intend_v be_v nothing_o else_o but_o the_o effect_n of_o shall_v come_v to_o me._n and_o he_o that_o come_v to_o speak_v to_o these_o word_n 1._o in_o general_n 2._o more_o particular_o in_o general_n they_o suggest_v unto_o we_o these_o four_o thing_n first_o that_o jesus_n christ_n do_v build_v upon_o it_o that_o since_o the_o father_n give_v his_o people_n to_o he_o they_o shall_v be_v enable_v to_o come_v unto_o he_o and_o he_o that_o come_v as_o who_o shall_v say_v i_o know_v that_o since_o they_o be_v give_v to_o i_o they_o shall_v be_v enable_v to_o come_v unto_o me._n he_o say_v not_o if_o they_o come_v or_o i_o suppose_v they_o will_v come_v but_o and_o he_o that_o come_v by_o these_o word_n therefore_o he_o show_v we_o that_o he_o address_v himself_o to_o the_o receive_v of_o they_o who_o the_o father_n give_v to_o he_o to_o save_v they_o by_o which_o as_o i_o say_v he_o conclude_v or_o build_v upon_o it_o that_o they_o shall_v indeed_o come_v to_o he_o second_o christ_n also_o suggest_v by_o these_o word_n that_o he_o very_o well_o know_v who_o be_v give_v to_o he_o not_o by_o their_o come_v to_o he_o but_o by_o their_o be_v give_v to_o he_o all_o that_o the_o father_n give_v i_o shall_v come_v to_o i_o and_o he_o that_o come_v etc._n etc._n this_o he_o he_o know_v to_o be_v one_o of_o they_o that_o the_o father_n have_v give_v he_o and_o therefore_o he_o receive_v he_o even_o because_o the_o father_n have_v give_v he_o to_o he_o i_o know_v my_o sheep_n say_v he_o not_o only_o those_o that_o already_o have_v knowledge_n of_o he_o but_o those_o too_o that_o yet_o be_v ignorant_a of_o he_o other_o sheep_n have_v i_o say_v he_o which_o be_v not_o of_o this_o fold_n not_o of_o the_o jewish_a church_n but_o those_o that_o lie_v in_o their_o sin_n even_o the_o rude_a and_o barbarous_a gentile_n therefore_o when_o paul_n be_v afraid_a to_o stay_v at_o corinth_n from_o a_o supposition_n that_o some_o mischief_n may_v befall_v he_o there_o be_v not_o afraid_a say_v the_o lord_n jesus_n to_o he_o but_o speak_v
