there_o be_v four_o special_a reason_n of_o it_o why_o the_o lord_n fetch_v we_o a_o pattern_n from_o heaven_n rather_o than_o from_o earth_n first_o because_o a_o rare_a example_n do_v most_o move_v us._n few_o example_n in_o this_o world_n be_v rare_a and_o those_o few_o that_o be_v be_v so_o darken_v and_o cloud_v with_o contrary_a example_n that_o they_o hardly_o move_v us._n to_o this_o effect_n david_n say_v the_o lord_n look_v from_o heaven_n and_o see_v that_o none_o do_v good_a no_o not_o one_o so_o isa._n 64._o 6_o 7._o the_o prophet_n bring_v in_o the_o 7._o people_n confess_v of_o great_a one_o to_o sustain_v it_o whole_a swarm_n of_o people_n in_o every_o corner_n one_o will_v wonder_v at_o the_o multitude_n and_o at_o their_o condition_n for_o howsoever_o man_n will_v by_o his_o spirit_n now_o in_o this_o three_o petition_n we_o pray_v that_o we_o may_v be_v content_v to_o submit_v unto_o it_o and_o be_v always_o ready_a to_o do_v the_o lord_n will_v and_o not_o our_o own_o so_o that_o whereas_o in_o the_o former_a petition_n we_o pray_v for_o the_o inward_a government_n of_o god_n the_o work_n of_o grace_n holy_a motion_n strive_n in_o ourselves_o that_o the_o lord_n will_v do_v his_o part_n now_o we_o pray_v that_o we_o may_v be_v willing_a to_o do_v our_o part_n not_o resist_v this_o inward_a government_n of_o god_n be_v ready_a ever_o to_o yield_v thing_n that_o he_o who_o will_v not_o trust_v unto_o god_n for_o meat_n and_o drink_n and_o such_o like_a will_v not_o trust_v he_o for_o the_o salvation_n of_o his_o soul_n and_o he_o that_o think_v that_o god_n will_v stand_v with_o he_o for_o a_o piece_n of_o bread_n will_v never_o believe_v that_o god_n will_v give_v he_o pardon_v of_o his_o sin_n and_o heavenly_a glory_n christ_n therefore_o will_v have_v we_o begin_v at_o the_o small_a that_o find_v the_o lord_n favourable_a and_o friendly_a in_o these_o lesser_a thing_n we_o may_v be_v draw_v to_o conceive_v that_o he_o will_v be_v as_o this_o life_n so_o that_o by_o bread_n here_o as_o in_o many_o place_n of_o scripture_n our_o saviour_n christ_n mean_v all_o manner_n of_o comfort_n of_o this_o life_n for_o we_o know_v that_o many_o have_v bread_n yet_o if_o they_o have_v not_o other_o good_a blessing_n of_o god_n house_n and_o harbour_n fire_n and_o water_n sleep_n health_n and_o rest_n they_o may_v for_o all_o that_o perish_v therefore_o when_o we_o pray_v for_o bread_n we_o pray_v that_o the_o lord_n will_v give_v we_o whatsoever_o be_v needful_a to_o sustain_v our_o weak_a and_o frail_a life_n in_o this_o world_n and_o for_o the_o limitation_n we_o know_v that_o bread_n be_v a_o necessary_a and_o a_o needful_a thing_n it_o be_v not_o a_o frivolous_a thing_n of_o superfluity_n that_o we_o may_v well_o want_v but_o
