show_v a_o humble_a heart_n therefore_o examine_v if_o this_o be_v so_o with_o thou_o fourthlie_o a_o humble_a heart_n in_o matter_n of_o justification_n it_o appear_v by_o this_o that_o as_o it_o be_v content_a to_o have_v a_o righteousness_n in_o another_o righteousness_n 4._o to_o renounce_v our_o own_o righteousness_n and_o second_o to_o hold_v it_o upon_o a_o bare_a word_n if_o god_n give_v more_o he_o will_v take_v it_o if_o not_o he_o will_v hold_v it_o upon_o his_o bare_a word_n and_o three_o he_o will_v take_v the_o most_o general_a word_n so_o fourthly_a he_o will_v whole_o renounce_v and_o throw_v away_o his_o own_o righteousness_n and_o as_o paul_n do_v call_v it_o dung_n and_o dog_n meat_n so_o i_o may_v be_v find_v say_v he_o in_o jesus_n christ_n now_o a_o proud_a hear_v will_v have_v jesus_n christ_n only_o to_o sâ—der_v his_o own_o righteousness_n and_o jesus_n christ_n together_o he_o will_v have_v christ_n only_o to_o make_v up_o a_o little_a what_o be_v speak_v as_o if_o his_o righteousness_n have_v be_v a_o chain_n and_o a_o burden_n last_o a_o humble_a heart_n a_o humble_a man_n or_o woman_n preparation_n 5._o notwithstanding_o our_o sin_n and_o want_v of_o preparation_n will_v do_v all_o this_o and_o he_o will_v do_v it_o let_v his_o sinfulness_n be_v never_o so_o great_a or_o let_v his_o preparation_n be_v never_o so_o little_a there_o be_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o pride_n in_o man_n heart_n they_o will_v not_o receive_v grace_n and_o salvation_n of_o god_n because_o of_o the_o greatness_n of_o their_o sin_n there_o be_v no_o man_n that_o talk_v of_o the_o greatness_n of_o his_o sin_n with_o a_o spirit_n of_o unbelief_n but_o it_o proceed_v from_o pride_n when_o a_o man_n talk_v of_o his_o great_a sin_n and_o therefore_o he_o be_v afraid_a to_o believe_v that_o be_v from_o pride_n for_o the_o great_a a_o man_n sin_n be_v the_o soon_o he_o will_v believe_v if_o he_o have_v a_o humble_a heart_n depart_v from_o i_o lord_n say_v in_o the_o heart_n in_o ephes_n 4._o it_o be_v call_v bitterness_n the_o apostle_n may_v allude_v to_o a_o fever_n when_o people_n be_v in_o a_o fever_n there_o be_v a_o bitterness_n on_o the_o tongue_n the_o man_n can_v take_v nothing_o in_o while_o he_o be_v in_o that_o disposition_n he_o be_v angry_a with_o every_o thing_n his_o wife_n and_o his_o child_n can_v speak_v to_o he_o what_o that_o and_o fall_v out_o with_o the_o other_o and_o we_o be_v well_o no_o where_o we_o like_v no_o way_n in_o god_n kingdom_n but_o the_o reason_n be_v there_o be_v a_o bitterness_n on_o thy_o he_o know_v that_o the_o law_n must_v be_v satisfy_v and_o so_o he_o take_v it_o in_o the_o pure_a spirituality_n and_o go_v to_o christ_n jesus_n and_o he_o have_v satisfy_v all_o so_o much_o brief_o the_o three_o question_n brief_o be_v what_o be_v mean_v spirit_n quest_n 3._o what_o mean_v by_o mind_v the_o thing_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o of_o the_o spirit_n by_o the_o mind_v of_o the_o thing_n providence_n in_o business_n he_o do_v not_o use_v that_o lest_o we_o shall_v think_v that_o the_o holy_a ghost_n forbid_v to_o provide_v to_o be_v mindful_a and_o careful_a of_o worldly_a business_n but_o frounena_n that_o signify_v a_o further_a thing_n as_o i_o shall_v show_v present_o now_o than_o you_o must_v understand_v this_o also_o mean_v 2._o the_o understanding_n be_v not_o only_o mean_v that_o when_o the_o apostle_n say_v they_o mind_v the_o thing_n of_o the_o flesh_n the_o word_n do_v not_o only_o signify_v the_o understanding_n but_o it_o signify_v all_o the_o affection_n their_o mind_n be_v not_o employ_v elsewhere_o a_o saint_n can_v be_v as_o cunning_n and_o as_o wise_a and_o worldly_a as_o thou_o but_o thou_o may_v easy_o steal_v any_o thing_n from_o he_o and_o cheat_v and_o cozen_v he_o because_o his_o mind_n be_v upon_o other_o thing_n it_o be_v upon_o heaven_n and_o those_o bless_a thing_n therefore_o learn_v that_o one_o thing_n learn_v to_o understand_v that_o the_o main_a of_o thy_o happiness_n or_o misery_n be_v in_o thy_o mind_n beg_v of_o the_o lord_n to_o give_v thou_o a_o good_a mind_n to_o write_v his_o law_n in_o thy_o mind_n without_o knowledge_n the_o mind_n be_v not_o good_a therefore_o when_o the_o lord_n give_v the_o people_n of_o israel_n up_o it_o be_v say_v the_o misery_n come_v upon_o their_o mind_n blindness_n of_o heart_n
