conscience_n so_o that_o as_o when_o we_o be_v awake_v our_o sense_n be_v perfect_a we_o discern_v we_o be_v awake_a and_o do_v not_o dream_v so_o when_o we_o believe_v our_o understanding_n be_v clear_a we_o discern_v we_o do_v believe_v and_o do_v not_o presume_v but_o now_o if_o any_o man_n awake_a shall_v strong_o conceit_n he_o be_v in_o a_o dream_n we_o may_v not_o conclude_v it_o be_v because_o he_o have_v no_o sense_n but_o because_o he_o have_v a_o overmastering_a passion_n of_o melancholy_n and_o thus_o if_o any_o believer_n shall_v strong_o persuade_v himself_o he_o do_v not_o believe_v we_o may_v not_o say_v it_o be_v because_o he_o have_v no_o faith_n but_o because_o he_o have_v a_o overpower_a temptation_n of_o satan_n as_o therefore_o in_o the_o former_a we_o use_v physical_a remedy_n to_o cure_v the_o passion_n so_o in_o the_o latter_a we_o must_v use_v spiritual_a help_n to_o overcome_v the_o temptation_n 3._o endeavour_v to_o prove_v the_o sincerity_n and_o strengthen_v the_o weakness_n of_o thy_o faith_n by_o devout_o meditate_v upon_o the_o mystery_n of_o godliness_n and_o humble_o apply_v the_o promise_n of_o life_n 1._o devout_o meditate_v upon_o the_o mystery_n of_o godliness_n the_o large_a series_n of_o which_o mystery_n link_v together_o in_o the_o long_a chain_n of_o man_n redemption_n
