much_o more_o do_v the_o three_o excel_v the_o second_o some_o perchance_o may_v answer_v with_o the_o servant_n son_n and_o heir_n of_o the_o great_a elijah_n hold_v your_o peace_n i_o know_v it_o cause_n of_o so_o many_o error_n and_o difference_n the_o consequence_n of_o error_n and_o therefore_o have_v it_o need_v of_o such_o goad_n to_o awake_v it_o and_o to_o make_v it_o open_v the_o eye_n and_o ear_n to_o this_o heavenly_a teacher_n it_o be_v most_o true_a that_o those_o who_o have_v not_o be_v teach_v in_o this_o high_a school_n of_o grace_n but_o only_o in_o the_o low_a of_o nature_n can_v well_o acknowledge_v that_o which_o they_o know_v not_o this_o school_n be_v best_o learn_v know_v and_o acknowledge_v by_o those_o who_o it_o most_o teach_v and_o those_o who_o have_v be_v well_o teach_v there_o do_v well_o know_v that_o christian_n be_v herein_o better_o than_o their_o neighbour_n even_o than_o the_o best_a of_o pagan_n because_o they_o be_v teach_v by_o god_n the_o best_a most_o transcendent_a and_o infallible_a teacher_n the_o heavenly_a teacher_n teach_v they_o both_o what_o and_o how_o to_o believe_v he_o give_v they_o his_o heavenly_a truth_n contain_v in_o his_o word_n and_o give_v they_o withal_o a_o heavenly_a mind_n to_o discern_v believe_v and_o receive_v they_o and_o thus_o while_o a_o christian_n hold_v his_o religion_n by_o a_o heavenly_a hand_n &_o both_o be_v give_v he_o by_o a_o heavenly_a teacher_n a_o christian_n tenure_n of_o religion_n be_v far_o more_o noble_a excellent_a and_o assure_v than_o that_o of_o the_o pagan_a a_o christian_a and_o thus_o shall_v we_o run_v on_o in_o a_o areop_n endless_a circle_n of_o taste_v love_a and_o know_v which_o grow_v still_o great_a the_o more_o we_o round_o it_o let_v it_o also_o be_v observe_v that_o this_o knowledge_n thus_o teach_v of_o god_n do_v give_v such_o a_o assurance_n of_o understanding_n concern_v the_o thing_n thus_o know_v and_o do_v so_o seal_v upon_o the_o soul_n the_o truth_n and_o excellency_n of_o they_o that_o all_o objection_n trial_n and_o tentation_n can_v blot_v out_o the_o stamp_n and_o character_n of_o this_o seal_n but_o the_o soul_n will_v still_o answer_v that_o against_o taste_n there_o be_v no_o dispute_n and_o with_o the_o apostle_n we_o can_v but_o testify_v what_o we_o have_v see_v and_o know_v by_o taste_v there_o be_v yet_o another_o knowledge_n teach_v by_o god_n in_o his_o heavenly_a school_n which_o though_o it_o arise_v not_o from_o the_o very_a taste_n of_o spiritual_a thing_n yet_o it_o arise_v from_o the_o soul_n have_v sound_o taste_v of_o god_n spirit_n and_o be_v thorough_o affect_v with_o it_o when_o the_o soul_n be_v inward_o bedew_v and_o as_o it_o be_v write_v upon_o by_o the_o spirit_n there_o will_v arise_v from_o this_o writing_n and_o the_o virtue_n of_o this_o heavenly_a dew_n a_o unknown_a kind_n of_o knowledge_n which_o can_v be_v teach_v by_o man_n yea_o 53._o the_o man_n himself_o that_o know_v it_o can_v teach_v it_o to_o himself_o before_o he_o know_v it_o but_o rather_o know_v it_o first_o without_o himself_o &_o then_o teach_v it_o to_o himself_o by_o this_o know_v it_o the_o soul_n be_v steep_v and_o affect_v by_o the_o spirit_n this_o affection_n do_v eruct_v deliver_v and_o speak_v to_o the_o soul_n hide_a truth_n which_o before_o she_o see_v not_o nor_o can_v see_v by_o the_o the_o best_a teacher_n and_o this_o be_v the_o scope_n of_o most_o of_o those_o that_o study_v divinity_n in_o the_o low_a academy_n for_o this_o shall_v they_o chief_o though_o make_v use_n of_o
this_o be_v not_o perfect_v at_o once_o therefore_o as_o at_o thy_o first_o entrance_n into_o the_o heavenly_a academy_n thou_o must_v begin_v a_o denial_n and_o annihilation_n of_o thy_o own_o wit_n divine_a word_n have_v breed_v mule_n in_o divinity_n even_o confuse_v foolish_a and_o misshape_a error_n but_o let_v the_o learner_n in_o this_o high_a academy_n lie_v aside_o his_o own_o sight_n which_o be_v blindness_n and_o get_v from_o his_o teacher_n that_o eyesalve_n which_o may_v give_v he_o spiritual_a discern_v let_v he_o keep_v his_o wit_n in_o a_o perpetual_a captivity_n and_o passiveness_n to_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o beware_v that_o by_o no_o mean_n he_o make_v that_o portion_n of_o spirit_n which_o be_v in_o he_o to_o suffer_v under_o the_o activity_n of_o his_o own_o carnal_a wit_n but_o have_v receive_v a_o eye_n from_o god_n let_v he_o see_v god_n matter_n with_o god_n eye_n and_o so_o shall_v he_o keep_v himself_o safe_a from_o error_n and_o shall_v be_v
