the_o not_o distinguish_v betwixt_o the_o father_n work_n and_o the_o son_n in_o our_o adoption_n although_o in_o the_o same_o place_n they_o be_v clear_o distinguish_v by_o the_o evangelist_n which_o oversight_n make_v great_a confusion_n in_o knowledge_n for_o we_o be_v to_o understand_v that_o although_o the_o three_o person_n of_o the_o trinity_n be_v neither_o in_o subsist_v nor_o work_v to_o be_v separate_v yet_o in_o both_o they_o be_v still_o to_o be_v distinguish_v and_o never_o to_o be_v confound_v if_o ever_o we_o think_v to_o have_v a_o clear_a and_o unconfused_a sight_n of_o christ_n obedience_n but_o particular_o by_o those_o work_n of_o his_o obedience_n wherein_o our_o righteousness_n consist_v do_v only_o mention_v his_o suffering_n death_n or_o lay_v down_o of_o his_o life_n or_o his_o blood_n or_o his_o oblation_n or_o offer_v of_o himself_o or_o his_o be_v make_v sin_n or_o his_o bear_v the_o chastisement_n of_o our_o peace_n and_o such_o like_a phrase_n which_o all_o signify_v one_o

so_o unite_v to_o he_o and_o he_o with_o all_o the_o benefit_n that_o be_v in_o he_o unto_o we_o that_o we_o never_o can_v possible_o be_v separate_v from_o he_o nor_o he_o or_o his_o blessing_n from_o we_o for_o this_o cause_n be_v it_o that_o augustine_n say_v believe_v only_o and_o thou_o have_v eat_v he_o and_o for_o clear_n of_o this_o ground_n it_o be_v that_o these_o phrase_n of_o speech_n be_v use_v to_o wit_n that_o christ_n be_v the_o end_n of_o the_o law_n unto_o righteousness_n to_o all_o that_o believe_v that_o the_o promise_n be_v give_v to_o they_o that_o faithful_o believe_v that_o the_o gospel_n be_v the_o power_n of_o god_n unto_o salvation_n to_o every_o one_o that_o believe_v etc._n etc._n all_o to_o teach_v we_o that_o neither_o the_o gospel_n can_v help_v we_o to_o salvation_n neither_o be_v the_o promise_n make_v we_o nor_o christ_n righteousness_n belong_v unto_o we_o except_o we_o believe_v because_o there_o be_v no_o mean_a to_o make_v any_o thing_n contain_v in_o the_o gospel_n especial_o the_o promise_n or_o christ_n himself_o to_o be_v we_o but_o faith_n only_o and_o for_o this_o same_o
