at_o a_o stand_n few_o there_o be_v that_o be_v take_v in_o the_o net_n of_o the_o gospel_n in_o comparison_n of_o what_o have_v wont_a to_o be_v yea_o we_o hear_v not_o of_o many_o who_o come_v so_o far_o as_o to_o be_v prick_v at_o the_o heart_n and_o put_v that_o necessary_a question_n what_o shall_v we_o do_v to_o be_v save_v whence_o shall_v this_o proceed_v but_o from_o the_o general_a hardness_n of_o man_n heart_n more_o than_o former_o the_o word_n of_o god_n be_v as_o quick_a and_o powerful_a as_o sharp_a and_o pierce_a now_o as_o ever_o it_o be_v consider_v it_o in_o its_o self_n for_o these_o be_v inseparable_a property_n of_o the_o word_n of_o god_n as_o we_o read_v heb._n 4.12_o but_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n be_v not_o so_o pliable_a as_o heretofore_o they_o be_v become_v law_n proof_n and_o gospell-proofe_n more_o than_o ever_o in_o such_o a_o sense_n as_o we_o call_v that_o kind_n of_o armour_n which_o no_o bullet_n oan_v enter_v armour_n of_o proof_n but_o i_o have_v no_o pleasure_n in_o upbraid_v man_n with_o the_o hardness_n of_o their_o heart_n we_o have_v much_o rather_o be_v employ_v in_o provoke_v they_o to_o labour_v after_o the_o soften_a and_o mollify_a of_o they_o that_o they_o may_v send_v forth_o a_o fragrant_a smell_n into_o the_o nostril_n of_o the_o great_a god_n as_o spice_n be_v bruise_v be_v most_o fragrant_a if_o thou_o will_v ply_v this_o work_n of_o labour_v to_o break_v thy_o heart_n evangelical_o beside_o all_o those_o excellent_a help_n whereof_o i_o tell_v thou_o before_o which_o do_v most_o willing_o offer_v with_o the_o condition_n of_o glorify_a saint_n in_o heaven_n if_o we_o can_v imagine_v sin_n to_o be_v in_o heaven_n there_o will_v be_v occasion_n for_o sorrow_n and_o brokennesse_n of_o heart_n even_o there_o also_o because_o there_o be_v certain_a action_n in_o the_o state_n of_o grace_n sinful_a action_n commit_v by_o we_o which_o shall_v never_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o glory_n thence_o it_o be_v that_o there_o be_v passion_n and_o affection_n also_o proper_a for_o this_o state_n which_o shall_v be_v do_v away_o in_o that_o as_o sorrow_n brokenness_n of_o heart_n etc._n etc._n sure_o christ_n be_v no_o whit_n angry_a with_o peter_n but_o rather_o well_o please_v at_o it_o for_o weep_v bitter_o after_o that_o he_o have_v deny_v his_o lord_n and_o master_n when_o
