will_v not_o on_o set_v purpose_n shut_v their_o eve_n what_o a_o confusion_n and_o jumble_v this_o make_v i._n e._n the_o assert_v the_o righteousness_n of_o and_o by_o faith_n to_o be_v christ_n particular_a i._n e._n faith_n as_o it_o be_v the_o soul_n consent_v to_o renounce_v the_o world_n the_o flesh_n and_o the_o devil_n and_o thankful_o to_o accept_v of_o christ_n to_o be_v its_o only_a saviour_n which_o include_v his_o take_v he_o in_o all_o his_o office_n and_o a_o purpose_n through_o assist_v grace_n of_o obedience_n to_o the_o death_n be_v a_o conformity_n to_o the_o gospel_n which_o be_v christ_n law_n of_o grace_n and_o as_o it_o be_v a_o conformity_n hereunto_o by_o the_o scripture_n it_o be_v call_v a_o righteousness_n and_o this_o faith_n justify_v not_o nor_o give_v he_o will_v say_v as_o he_o seem_v to_o intimate_v that_o god_n and_o christ_n as_o saviour_n and_o redeemer_n in_o all_o his_o office_n be_v we_o after_o the_o same_o manner_n that_o he_o faith_n christ_n righteousness_n be_v make_v we_o i._n e._n by_o god_n imputation_n or_o his_o account_v it_o in_o its_o self_n to_o be_v the_o formal_a righteousness_n of_o our_o person_n he_o implicit_o therefore_o for_o this_o purpose_n will_v have_v the_o command_n of_o the_o gospel_n press_v upon_o sinner_n but_o then_o his_o promise_n of_o the_o gift_n of_o this_o grace_n through_o and_o for_o christ_n to_o enable_v we_o hereunto_o suppose_v our_o want_n of_o moral_a power_n and_o so_o our_o insufficiency_n and_o inability_n in_o ourselves_o to_o perform_v which_o the_o spirit_n convince_v of_o so_o that_o god_n command_v we_o that_o which_o we_o have_v not_o in_o or_o from_o ourselves_o to_o perform_v without_o the_o renew_n and_o assist_v grace_n of_o his_o spirit_n do_v not_o suppose_v we_o to_o have_v the_o moral_a power_n of_o ourselves_o but_o it_o only_o speak_v god_n order_n of_o act_v in_o his_o dispensation_n towards_o man_n who_o he_o work_v upon_o as_o a_o rational_a creature_n who_o after_o he_o be_v convince_v of_o his_o sin_n and_o misery_n must_v be_v acquaint_v with_o what_o be_v his_o duty_n in_o this_o case_n and_o for_o this_o god_n give_v his_o command_n as_o in_o the_o case_n of_o those_o at_o peter_n sermon_n and_o the_o jailor_n etc._n etc._n but_o then_o after_o acquaintance_n with_o his_o duty_n and_o conviction_n of_o his_o own_o inability_n to_o perform_v god_n by_o his_o promise_n convey_v the_o grace_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n to_o give_v he_o that_o ability_n so_o that_o now_o man_n repent_v and_o give_v his_o sincere_a consent_n to_o be_v obedient_a to_o god_n in_o christ_n the_o blessing_n of_o pardon_n and_o life_n according_a to_o the_o tenor_n of_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n devolve_v upon_o he_o for_o christ_n as_o the_o subject_n of_o the_o right_n i._n e._n as_o a_o penitent_a believer_n so_o that_o in_o what_o i_o have_v say_v it_o be_v manifest_a the_o term_n and_o condition_n of_o the_o covenant_n perform_v by_o man_n through_o assist_v grace_n be_v no_o other_o but_o term_n and_o condition_n of_o connection_n and_o order_n as_o have_v be_v explain_v and_o here_o observe_v this_o be_v so_o far_o from_o destroy_v as_o that_o it_o do_v establish_v the_o doctrine_n of_o justification_n by_o faith_n or_o that_o doctrine_n which_o teach_v faith_n to_o be_v our_o formal_a personal_a righteousness_n or_o that_o upon_o which_o god_n do_v account_v we_o by_o the_o covenant_n of_o grace_n subject_n that_o have_v right_a through_o christ_n to_o pardon_n and_o life_n see_v that_o god_n have_v so_o connect_v true_a faith_n and_o these_o save_a benefit_n as_o that_o it_o be_v his_o fix_a order_n by_o this_o his_o covenant_n to_o dispense_v the_o latter_a to_o such_o and_o such_o
