of_o the_o bible_n which_o also_o faith_n conclude_v on_o this_o manner_n that_o doctrine_n which_o assure_v we_o to_o be_v god_n child_n be_v certain_o of_o god_n but_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n believe_v or_o mingle_v with_o our_o faith_n assure_v we_o to_o be_v god_n child_n therefore_o it_o be_v of_o god_n the_o major_n be_v grant_v of_o all_o the_o minor_a be_v in_o effect_n the_o conclusion_n of_o the_o former_a syllogism_n and_o it_o be_v know_v by_o a_o experience_n of_o that_o spiritual_a comfort_n which_o the_o godly_a feel_v in_o their_o heart_n the_o conclusion_n set_v down_o the_o certainty_n of_o the_o bible_n upon_o a_o further_a ground_n than_o any_o wit_n or_o learning_n of_o man_n can_v attain_v unto_o without_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n namely_o upon_o a_o inward_a assurance_n of_o our_o reconciliation_n with_o god_n of_o this_o certainty_n our_o saviour_n christ_n speak_v notable_o if_o any_o man_n will_v do_v my_o father_n will_n 7.17_o that_o be_v believe_v it_o and_o subject_n himself_o to_o it_o he_o shall_v know_v namely_o by_o that_o comfort_n which_o he_o shall_v feel_v upon_o his_o subjection_n of_o the_o doctrine_n whether_o it_o be_v of_o god_n or_o whether_o i_o speak_v of_o myself_o and_o paul_n say_v 2.14_o that_o the_o spiritual_a man_n that_o be_v one_o regenerate_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n judge_v all_o to_o a_o lively_a faith_n and_o for_o this_o cause_n we_o must_v do_v two_o thing_n first_o we_o be_v to_o labour_v to_o be_v convict_v in_o conscience_n of_o the_o certainty_n of_o the_o word_n conscience_n which_o be_v nothing_o else_o but_o a_o constant_a &_o stable_a tranquillity_n of_o mind_n when_o the_o conscience_n do_v not_o accuse_v but_o excuse_n and_o when_o neither_o hell_n without_o faith_n i_o somewhat_o doubt_v of_o this_o 16.16_o because_o it_o be_v say_v whosoever_o believe_v not_o be_v already_o condemn_v again_o without_o faith_n it_o be_v impossible_a to_o please_v god_n the_o three_o opinion_n be_v that_o child_n have_v faith_n after_o a_o sort_n because_o the_o parent_n according_a to_o the_o tenor_n of_o the_o covenant_n i_o will_v be_v thy_o god_n and_o the_o god_n of_o thy_o seed_n believe_v for_o themselves_o and_o their_o child_n and_o therefore_o their_o faith_n be_v not_o only_o they_o but_o also_o the_o faith_n of_o their_o child_n hence_o it_o be_v that_o the_o scripture_n say_v if_o the_o root_n be_v holy_a the_o branch_n be_v holy_a and_o 12._o if_o you_o believe_v 1â—_n your_o child_n be_v holy_a according_a to_o humane_a
