commit_v first_o issue_v and_o which_o by_o commit_v of_o the_o fault_n be_v augment_v for_o evil_o once_o commit_v leaf_n a_o further_a pronnesse_n in_o the_o heart_n to_o do_v it_o again_o this_o we_o call_v the_o corruption_n of_o sinne._n thus_o than_o we_o answer_v sin_n do_v not_o remain_v in_o those_o that_o be_v justify_v &_o regenerate_v in_o the_o two_o first_o respect_n viz._n of_o the_o fault_n and_o the_o guilt_n both_o which_o be_v take_v away_o by_o the_o death_n of_o christ._n but_o sin_n do_v remain_v in_o the_o regenerate_a according_a to_o the_o 3_o respect_n viz._n the_o vicious_a quality_n and_o corruption_n thereof_o inherent_a in_o the_o soul_n we_o shall_v explain_v these_o answer_n and_o apply_v they_o to_o the_o argument_n we_o say_v then_o that_o the_o fault_n &_o guilt_n of_o sin_n in_o the_o regenerate_a be_v utter_o abolish_v by_o the_o death_n of_o christ._n which_o we_o do_v not_o take_v in_o such_o a_o sense_n as_o this_o that_o in_o a_o man_n regenerate_v there_o be_v not_o at_o all_o any_o one_o fault_n or_o guilt_n to_o be_v find_v for_o to_o say_v that_o a_o man_n regenerate_v when_o he_o sin_n be_v neither_o faulty_a nor_o guilty_a be_v a_o gross_a untruth_n â—_o see_v it_o be_v impossible_a that_o man_n shall_v sin_v yet_o god_n not_o be_v offend_v that_o man_n shall_v sin_v and_o yet_o not_o be_v guilty_a and_o deserve_v eternal_a death_n wherefore_o we_o confess_v that_o in_o the_o holy_a of_o man_n if_o they_o sin_n there_o be_v a_o true_a fault_n and_o god_n be_v displease_v with_o it_o there_o be_v also_o true_a guilt_n and_o for_o it_o they_o deserve_v to_o go_v to_o hell_n but_o yet_o this_o truth_n also_o must_v be_v acknowledge_v withal_o that_o all_o faultinesse_n and_o guiltiness_n be_v quite_o abolish_v and_o take_v away_o from_o they_o by_o christ_n because_o that_o both_o be_v pardon_v unto_o they_o god_n be_v offend_v but_o yet_o they_o feel_v not_o the_o woeful_a effect_n of_o his_o the_o other_o part_n that_o sin_n in_o the_o vicious_a quality_n and_o corruption_n if_o it_o remain_v in_o man_n justify_v we_o understand_v with_o this_o necessary_a 14._o limitation_n that_o it_o remain_v in_o they_o not_o in_o its_o power_n and_o strength_n but_o in_o its_o be_v and_o life_n it_o have_v vitam_fw-la but_o not_o regnum_fw-la it_o reign_v where_o there_o be_v no_o grace_n at_o we_o god_n be_v reconcile_v the_o obligation_n to_o punishment_n cancel_v and_o all_o the_o power_n force_n &_o strength_n of_o sin_n defeat_v so_o that_o like_o the_o dead_a egyptian_n they_o can_v no_o long_o pursue_v the_o israelite_n to_o annoy_v they_o not_o shall_v stand_v up_o as_o a_o adversary_n in_o judgement_n to_o condemn_v us._n the_o gild_n of_o sin_n be_v wash_v away_o total_a by_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n the_o filthynesse_n of_o corrupt_a nature_n be_v in_o part_n by_o degree_n cleanse_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n pour_v on_o we_o in_o his_o sanctifie_v grace_n the_o fetter_n and_o bond_n of_o sin_n whereby_o we_o be_v hold_v in_o bondage_n under_o condemnation_n these_o be_v quite_o break_v asunder_o but_o those_o chain_n whereby_o with_o paul_n rom._n 7_o we_o be_v lead_v captive_a to_o disobedience_n be_v some_o break_a all_o weaken_a we_o be_v free_v from_o the_o power_n of_o satan_n and_o fear_n of_o hell_n but_o not_o whole_o free_v from_o sin_n whereby_o we_o be_v often_o captive_n against_o our_o will_n sin_n be_v a_o sickness_n and_o god_n be_v the_o physician_n a_o wound_n and_o god_n be_v the_o chirurgeon_n true_a but_o the_o cure_v neither_o perect_o yet_o correct_v that_o word_n he_o cure_v our_o sickness_n and_o sore_n perfect_o but_o not_o sudden_o where_o he_o begin_v the_o work_n he_o will_v finish_v it_o but_o he_o will_v also_o be_v cause_n in_o that_o condition_n it_o be_v liable_a to_o eternal_a death_n now_o the_o death_n of_o sin_n that_o be_v eternal_a death_n in_o the_o perpetual_a loss_n of_o god_n favour_n this_o be_v clean_o take_v a_o way_n from_o he_o that_o be_v regenerate_v christ_n by_o his_o death_n have_v purchase_v to_o he_o life_n and_o immortality_n but_o touch_v that_o other_o death_n that_o be_v the_o want_n of_o all_o inherent_a grace_n in_o the_o soul_n they_o say_v that_o in_o regeneration_n grace_n and_o holiness_n be_v restore_v to_o the_o soul_n yet_o not_o so_o perfect_o as_o to_o abolish_v every_o degree_n of_o sinful_a corruption_n before_o regeneration_n the_o soul_n have_v no_o grace_n atall_a and_o so_o be_v utter_o dead_a but_o it_o follow_v not_o that_o therefore_o in_o regeneration_n it_o have_v all_o grace_n give_v it_o in_o all_o perfection_n and_o so_o make_v perfect_o alive_a what_o ever_o harshness_n there_o be_v in_o the_o metaphor_n the_o plain_a term_n in_o
