itself_o with_o christ_n merit_n without_o the_o true_a innate_a childship_n be_v falsehood_n and_o a_o lie_n whosoever_o he_o be_v that_o teach_v it_o 126._o this_o comfort_n belong_v only_o to_o the_o penitent_a sinner_n who_o strive_v against_o sin_n and_o the_o anger_n of_o god_n when_o temptation_n come_v and_o the_o devil_n assault_v the_o soul_n then_o the_o soul_n must_v whole_o wrap_v itself_o up_o in_o the_o passion_n and_o death_n of_o christ_n and_o in_o his_o merit_n 127._o christ_n indeed_o have_v merit_v redemption_n for_o we_o alone_o but_o he_o have_v not_o merit_v it_o as_o such_o a_o merit_n for_o upon_o a_o merit_n a_o reward_n be_v give_v that_o for_o his_o own_o proper_a merit_n sake_n he_o will_v outward_o free_o grant_v we_o his_o childshîp_n and_o so_o
