whole_a member_n of_o the_o body_n with_o extreme_a passion_n and_o the_o body_n so_o exercise_v be_v a_o sick_a and_o suffer_a body_n the_o body_n of_o a_o harlote_n be_v the_o seek_v body_n that_o go_v it_o be_v brunt_n up_o with_o a_o fire_n within_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v enemy_n to_o the_o body_n be_v sickness_n and_o passion_n and_o therefore_o who_o ever_o will_v possess_v their_o body_n well_o they_o must_v be_v careful_a to_o keep_v the_o body_n from_o sickness_n and_o passion_n now_o among_o all_o the_o sickness_n that_o can_v come_v to_o a_o man_n the_o sickness_n of_o foul_a lust_n be_v the_o worst_a and_o most_o consume_a sickness_n another_o sickness_n may_v well_o waste_v the_o moisture_n of_o the_o body_n but_o if_o thou_o be_v sanctify_v the_o lord_n shall_v make_v it_o a_o mean_a to_o sanctify_v thou_o and_o oft_o time_n there_o will_v not_o be_v a_o choly_a body_n nor_o that_o body_n that_o be_v lie_v in_o sickness_n but_o this_o sickness_n of_o lust_n not_o only_o waste_v the_o substance_n of_o the_o body_n and_o dry_v it_o up_o but_o it_o destroy_v the_o holiness_n and_o honour_n thou_o shall_v have_v it_o be_v a_o enemy_n to_o holiness_n it_o be_v a_o sickness_n that_o will_v never_o sanctify_v thy_o body_n but_o destroy_v it_o and_o the_o long_o thou_o lie_v in_o that_o sickness_n the_o fouller_n and_o unholy_a be_v thou_o this_o be_v the_o nature_n of_o the_o sickness_n thou_o shall_v not_o only_o be_v consume_v in_o body_n with_o sickness_n but_o thou_o shall_v lose_v thy_o holiness_n in_o thy_o soul_n and_o this_o be_v a_o fore_a matter_n a_o sick_a man_n in_o another_o sickness_n will_v cry_v to_o the_o lord_n for_o comfort_n but_o in_o the_o sickness_n of_o harlotry_n he_o will_v never_o have_v a_o voice_n to_o cry_v unto_o the_o lord_n for_o mercy_n if_o he_o repent_v not_o so_o abhor_v this_o sickness_n above_o all_o other_o sickness_n the_o lord_n make_v all_o sickness_n and_o death_n to_o work_v to_o the_o substance_n thou_o be_v light_a for_o you_o must_v understand_v this_o the_o child_n be_v ever_o by_o nature_n of_o the_o substance_n of_o the_o father_n and_o mother_n then_o if_o you_o be_v the_o bind_v up_o so_o that_o it_z he_z no_o sight_n of_o god_n the_o ear_n of_o
a_fw-fr christian_n his_o sin_n shall_v be_v double_a and_o double_a shall_v be_v his_o damnation_n and_o he_o shall_v wish_v that_o he_o have_v never_o be_v call_v in_o the_o world_n a_o christian_n third_o thing_n that_o be_v require_v be_v that_o he_o have_v his_o armour_n on_o he_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o to_o be_v wakrife_n and_o sober_a but_o he_o must_v have_v his_o armour_n on_o he_o hope_n armour_n of_o a_o spiritual_a warrior_n faith_n love_n and_o hope_n for_o if_o he_o want_n armour_n the_o arm_a enemy_n will_v come_v on_o he_o and_o slay_v he_o even_o so_o it_o be_v in_o a_o christian_a warrior_n there_o be_v no_o christian_a man_n nor_o woman_n but_o they_o be_v warrior_n and_o they_o must_v make_v they_o to_o fight_v under_o the_o banner_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n their_o captain_n and_o as_o it_o be_v require_v in_o the_o earthly_a souldioure_n that_o they_o be_v wakeryse_o even_o so_o it_o be_v require_v in_o the_o christian_a soldier_n the_o next_o thing_n that_o be_v require_v in_o the_o christian_a soldier_n be_v temperance_n have_v not_o a_o drunken_a soul_n thou_o who_o will_v be_v a_o soldier_n under_o christ_n banner_n thou_o must_v not_o be_v drunken_a with_o the_o pleasure_n of_o this_o world_n now_o these_o two_o thing_n be_v not_o enough_o with_o wakrifenesse_n and_o sobriety_n therefore_o thou_o must_v have_v a_o arm_a soul_n as_o the_o body_n of_o the_o world_o warrior_n must_v put_v on_o armour_n so_o thy_o soul_n must_v put_v on_o armour_n otherways_o when_o the_o enemy_n make_v the_o assault_n he_o will_v prevail_v against_o thou_o if_o sin_n make_v a_o assault_n if_o thou_o be_v without_o thy_o armour_n sin_n will_v prevail_v brethren_n you_o know_v and_o it_o be_v here_o mean_v by_o the_o apostle_n the_o worldly_a warrior_n when_o he_o arm_v himself_o he_o his_fw-mi respect_n in_o special_a to_o these_o two_o part_n of_o his_o body_n the_o first_o his_o breast_n where_o his_o heart_n lie_v where_o the_o natural_a life_n have_v her_o chief_a residence_n therefore_o he_o put_v on_o his_o breastplate_n the_o next_o part_n of_o the_o which_o he_o have_v a_o special_a regard_n be_v of_o the_o head_n own_o breastplate_n and_o helmet_n yet_o more_o you_o see_v there_o be_v two_o part_n of_o the_o warrior_n breastplate_n the_o brestparte_n and_o backparte_v and_o piece_n before_o another_o piece_n of_o the_o christian_a warrior_n be_v of_o one_o piece_n call_v the_o hope_n of_o salvation_n hope_v that_o he_o shall_v be_v save_v and_o live_v with_o jesus_n christ_n and_o this_o be_v his_o head_n piece_n so_o long_o as_o he_o keep_v this_o hope_n he_o shall_v save_v his_o head_n and_o all_o his_o spiritual_a sense_n feel_v and_o move_v etc._n etc._n keep_v i_o hope_n nothing_o shall_v destroy_v thy_o spiritual_a see_v hear_v and_o feel_v and_o all_o the_o rest_n of_o thy_o sense_n and_o if_o thy_o head_n be_v bare_a of_o hope_n thy_o spiritual_a sense_n shall_v soon_o be_v overthrow_v by_o the_o assault_n of_o the_o enemy_n so_o the_o sum_n short_o the_o chief_a thing_n whereby_o the_o spiritual_a life_n the_o spiritual_a feel_n and_o move_v be_v keep_v within_o a_o wrought_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n wherein_o stand_v our_o regeneration_n be_v so_o link_v together_o either_o must_v they_o be_v altogether_o in_o thou_o in_o some_o measure_n or_o else_o thou_o have_v none_o of_o they_o either_o must_v all_o the_o power_n of_o thy_o soul_n and_o all_o thy_o affection_n be_v renew_v or_o else_o none_o of_o they_o be_v renew_v and_o therefore_o if_o thou_o will_v try_v if_o thou_o have_v these_o grace_n look_v if_o thou_o have_v any_o one_o of_o they_o for_o then_o thou_o have_v all_o look_v if_o thou_o have_v faith_n look_v if_o thou_o have_v but_o wind_n and_o vain_a voice_n shall_v sound_n in_o the_o ear_n and_o go_v not_o to_o the_o hart_n except_o with_o the_o word_n the_o lord_n concur_v by_o his_o spirit_n if_o the_o lord_n by_o his_o power_n and_o spirit_n inward_o move_v not_o the_o hart_n and_o affection_n of_o man_n all_o be_v but_o vanity_n and_o wind_n now_o the_o mean_v you_o see_v to_o get_v the_o spirit_n to_o the_o preach_v and_o hear_v of_o the_o word_n be_v prayer_n and_o therefore_o take_v the_o lesson_n a_o man_n shall_v never_o preach_v nor_o hear_v preach_v but_o the_o eye_n of_o his_o soul_n shall_v be_v lift_v up_o to_o he_o that_o be_v able_a only_o to_o give_v the_o power_n and_o increase_v in_o preach_v the_o minister_n shall_v be_v beg_v power_n and_o the_o people_n pray_v and_o say_v lord_n as_o this_o be_v thy_o word_n which_o be_v thy_o power_n unto_o salvation_n so_o by_o thy_o spirit_n make_v it_o powerful_a in_o i_o if_o thy_o eye_n be_v on_o the_o man_n and_o thy_o hart_n be_v not_o lift_v up_o to_o god_n thou_o shall_v go_v as_o empty_a home_n as_o thou_o come_v abroad_o therefore_o set_v thy_o eye_n and_o hart_n on_o he_o who_o be_v only_o able_a to_o give_v power_n to_o thy_o
