that_o have_v do_v evil_a yea_o the_o like_a order_n be_v observe_v wherever_o it_o be_v distinct_o speak_v of_o by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n in_o the_o scripture_n as_o in_o dan._n 12._o 2._o many_o that_o sleep_n in_o the_o dust_n of_o the_o earth_n shall_v awake_v where_o by_o many_o we_o may_v understand_v all_o of_o they_o according_a to_o our_o saviour_n assertion_n in_o this_o text_n and_o then_o come_v to_o the_o distinct_a mention_n of_o the_o several_a sort_n he_o observe_v the_o same_o order_n with_o our_o saviour_n here_o some_o to_o everlasting_a life_n and_o some_o to_o shame_n and_o everlasting_a contempt_n so_o paul_n act._n 24._o 15._o in_o his_o acknowledgement_n of_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a mention_n first_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o just_a and_o then_o of_o the_o unjust_a yet_o this_o we_o grant_v that_o the_o order_n of_o expression_n do_v not_o always_o signify_v a_o order_n of_o time_n in_o the_o come_n forth_o of_o the_o thing_n express_v or_o a_o distance_n of_o time_n between_o the_o come_n forth_o of_o they_o but_o where_o the_o same_o order_n be_v always_o observe_v by_o the_o holy_a ghost_n speak_v of_o the_o same_o thing_n it_o be_v the_o more_o significant_a for_o this_o we_o find_v that_o when_o he_o speak_v of_o several_a or_o distinct_a thing_n in_o which_o he_o will_v not_o have_v we_o apprehend_v such_o a_o order_n of_o time_n in_o the_o come_n forth_o of_o they_o or_o distance_n of_o time_n between_o they_o as_o may_v be_v intimate_v in_o the_o order_n of_o expression_n he_o do_v not_o then_o always_o observe_v the_o same_o order_n in_o the_o expression_n of_o they_o as_o for_o instance_n when_o he_o say_v except_o a_o man_n be_v bear_v of_o water_n and_o of_o the_o spirit_n he_o can_v enter_v into_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n yet_o that_o we_o may_v not_o apprehend_v any_o such_o thing_n intimate_v in_o the_o order_n of_o expression_n there_o or_o in_o the_o distinct_a manner_n of_o mention_v the_o water_n and_o the_o spirit_n as_o a_o double_a or_o two_o fold_n birth_n 1_o of_o water_n 2_o of_o the_o spirit_n or_o a_o several_a and_o divide_v come_v forth_o of_o those_o principle_n for_o effect_v the_o new_a birth_n first_o of_o the_o water_n by_o itself_o second_o of_o the_o spirit_n by_o itself_o therefore_o the_o holy_a ghost_n do_v not_o always_o observe_v the_o same_o order_n when_o speak_v of_o the_o same_o thing_n yea_o our_o saviour_n change_v that_o order_n in_o his_o explication_n of_o that_o doctrine_n and_o therein_o of_o those_o principle_n of_o regeneration_n
the_o water_n and_o the_o spirit_n in_o the_o same_o chapter_n joh._n 3._o 14_o 15_o 16._o which_o verse_n be_v evident_o a_o further_a demonstration_n and_o explication_n of_o that_o doctrine_n vers_fw-la 3_o 5._o show_v in_o that_o whole_a explication_n what_o that_o water_n and_o that_o spirit_n be_v of_o which_o a_o man_n may_v be_v bear_v again_o and_o there_o i_o say_v he_o change_v the_o order_n use_v in_o vers_fw-la 5_o speak_v to_o that_o first_o in_o his_o explication_n which_o be_v last_o in_o his_o first_o declaration_n of_o they_o namely_o the_o spirit_n of_o which_o a_o man_n may_v be_v bear_v again_o which_o he_o interpret_v to_o be_v in_o that_o office_n or_o work_v of_o the_o spirit_n the_o lift_v up_o of_o the_o son_n of_o man_n according_a to_o that_o joh._n 16._o 14._o and_o then_o explicate_v the_o water_n after_o to_o be_v that_o love_n of_o god_n to_o man-ward_n that_o be_v manifest_v in_o and_o through_o the_o gift_n of_o his_o son_n which_o be_v both_o the_o ground_n of_o the_o spirit_n be_v send_v to_o lift_v he_o up_o and_o also_o be_v itself_o commend_v display_v and_o shed_v abroad_o in_o such_o lift_v he_o up_o as_o verse_n 17._o with_o rom_n 5._o 5_o 6_o 7_o 8_o etc._n etc._n and_o so_o the_o water_n and_o the_o spirit_n go_v together_o and_o be_v one_o in_o and_o with_o the_o other_o pour_v forth_o abundant_o by_o jesus_n christ_n for_o regenerate_v man_n as_o tit._n 3._o 3_o 4_o 5_o 6._o which_o that_o we_o may_v understand_v our_o saviour_n observe_v not_o the_o same_o order_n of_o expression_n in_o the_o first_o declaration_n and_o follow_v explication_n and_o after_o by_o his_o apostle_n mention_n they_o as_o joint_o come_v forth_o together_o yea_o in_o the_o 1_o joh._n 5._o 8._o express_o mention_n the_o spirit_n first_o and_o then_o the_o water_n and_o the_o blood_n of_o christ_n through_o which_o the_o water_n be_v shed_v abroad_o by_o the_o spirit_n open_v and_o sprinkle_v it_o and_o so_o mention_n they_o as_o all_o agree_n in_o one_o and_o come_v forth_o joint_o and_o together_o other_o instance_n of_o like_a nature_n may_v be_v give_v but_o as_o we_o have_v say_v when_o the_o same_o order_n be_v always_o observe_v in_o mention_v the_o same_o thing_n as_o it_o be_v wherever_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o just_a and_o unjust_a be_v speak_v off_o it_o be_v more_o significant_a as_o to_o order_v of_o time_n to_o be_v observe_v by_o we_o in_o the_o come_n forth_o of_o those_o thing_n and_o at_o least_o it_o give_v we_o occasion_n to_o observe_v what_o other_o scripture_n speak_v more_o full_o to_o that_o point_n now_o then_o that_o there_o shall_v be_v such_o a_o order_n in_o the_o resurrection_n of_o the_o dead_a and_o eternal_a judgement_n by_o christ_n that_o christ_n the_o first_o fruit_n be_v already_o raise_v from_o the_o dead_a shall_v afterward_o even_o at_o his_o come_n raise_v up_o they_o that_o be_v he_o and_o bring_v they_o with_o he_o and_o then_o after_o
