this_o man_n die_v leave_v his_o death_n for_o a_o example_n of_o a_o noble_a courage_n and_o a_o memorial_n of_o virtue_n not_o only_o unto_o young_a man_n but_o unto_o all_o his_o nation_n the_o constancy_n and_o cruel_a death_n of_o seven_o brethren_n and_o their_o mother_n in_o one_o day_n because_o they_o will_v not_o eat_v swine_n flesh_n at_o the_o king_n commandment_n seven_o brethren_n with_o their_o mother_n be_v take_v and_o compel_v by_o the_o king_n against_o the_o law_n persecute_v the_o mother_n and_o her_o seven_o child_n persecute_v to_o taste_v swine_n flesh_n and_o be_v torment_v with_o scourge_v and_o whip_n but_o one_o of_o they_o that_o speak_v first_o say_v thus_o what_o will_v thou_o ask_v or_o learn_v of_o we_o we_o be_v ready_a to_o die_v '_o rather_o then_o to_o transgress_v the_o law_n of_o our_o father_n then_o the_o king_n be_v in_o a_o rage_n command_v pan_n and_o caldron_n to_o be_v make_v hot_a which_o forthwith_o be_v heat_v he_o command_v to_o cut_v out_o the_o tongue_n of_o he_o that_o speak_v first_o and_o to_o cut_v off_o the_o utmost_a part_n of_o his_o body_n the_o rest_n of_o his_o brethren_n and_o his_o mother_n look_v on_o now_o when_o he_o be_v thus_o maim_v in_o all_o his_o member_n he_o command_v he_o be_v yet_o alive_a to_o be_v bring_v to_o the_o fire_n and_o to_o be_v fry_v in_o the_o pan_n and_o as_o the_o vapour_n of_o the_o pan_n be_v for_o a_o good_a space_n disperse_v they_o exhort_v one_o another_o with_o the_o mother_n to_o die_v manful_o say_v thus_o the_o lord_n god_n look_v upon_o we_o and_o in_o be_v dead_a after_o this_o manner_n they_o bring_v the_o second_o to_o make_v a_o mock_a stock_n and_o when_o they_o have_v pull_v off_o the_o skin_n of_o his_o head_n with_o the_o hair_n they_o ask_v he_o '_o will_v thou_o eat_v before_o thou_o be_v punish_v '_o throughout_o every_o member_n of_o thy_o body_n but_o he_o answer_v in_o his_o own_o language_n and_o say_v no_o wherefore_o he_o also_o receive_v the_o next_o torment_n in_o order_n as_o the_o former_a do_v and_o when_o he_o be_v at_o the_o last_o gasp_n he_o say_v thou_o like_v a_o fury_n take_v we_o out_o of_o this_o present_a life_n but_o the_o king_n of_o the_o world_n shall_v raise_v we_o up_o who_o have_v dye_v for_o his_o law_n unto_o everlasting_a life_n after_o he_o be_v the_o three_o make_v a_o mock_a stock_n and_o when_o he_o be_v require_v he_o put_v out_o his_o tongue_n and_o that_o right_a soon_o hold_v forth_o his_o hand_n manful_o and_o say_v couragous_o '_o these_o i_o have_v from_o heaven_n and_o for_o his_o law_n i_o dâ—spise_v they_o and_z '_o from_o he_o i_o hope_v to_o receive_v they_o again_o insomuch_o that_o the_o king_n and_o they_o that_o be_v with_o he_o marvail_v at_o the_o young_a man_n courage_n for_o that_o he_o nothing_o regard_v the_o pain_n now_o when_o this_o man_n be_v dead_a also_o they_o torment_v and_o mingle_v the_o four_o in_o like_a manner_n so_o when_o he_o be_v ready_a to_o die_v he_o say_v thus_o it_o be_v good_a be_v put_v to_o death_n by_o man_n to_o look_v for_o hope_n from_o god_n to_o be_v raise_v up_o again_o by_o he_o as_o for_o thou_o thou_o shall_v have_v no_o resurrection_n to_o life_n afterward_o they_o bring_v the_o five_o also_o and_o mangle_v he_o then_o look_v he_o unto_o the_o king_n and_o say_v thou_o have_v power_n over_o man_n thou_o be_v corruptible_a thou_o do_v what_o thou_o will_v yet_o think_v not_o that_o our_o nation_n be_v forsake_v of_o god_n but_o abide_v a_o while_n and_o behold_v his_o great_a power_n how_o he_o will_v torment_v thou_o and_o thy_o seed_n after_o he_o also_o they_o bring_v the_o six_o who_o be_v ready_a to_o die_v say_v be_v not_o deceive_v without_o cause_n for_o we_o suffer_v these_o thing_n for_o ourselves_o have_v sin_v against_o our_o god_n therefore_o marvellous_a thing_n be_v do_v unto_o we_o but_o think_v not_o thou_o that_o take_v in_o hand_n to_o strive_v against_o god_n that_o thou_o shall_v escape_v unpunished_a but_o the_o mother_n be_v marvellous_a above_o all_o and_o worthy_a of_o honourable_a memory_n for_o when_o she_o see_v she_o seven_o son_n slay_v within_o the_o space_n of_o one_o day_n she_o bear_v it_o with_o a_o good_a courage_n because_o of_o the_o hope_n that_o she_o have_v in_o the_o lord_n yea_o she_o
