doctrine_n and_o principle_n and_o practice_n be_v and_o what_o it_o lead_v and_o guide_v they_o for_o to_o do_v and_o act_v in_o those_o place_n and_o country_n where_o they_o have_v the_o rule_n and_o power_n in_o outward_a thing_n as_o for_o instance_n they_o do_v believet_n at_o all_o people_n which_o be_v not_o of_o their_o faith_n and_o religion_n be_v sectary_n and_o heretic_n though_o they_o be_v call_v christian_n as_o i_o can_v make_v appear_v by_o their_o own_o book_n which_o they_o have_v set_v forth_o and_o then_o this_o have_v follow_v by_o their_o practice_n that_o the_o more_o heretic_n they_o kill_v and_o destroy_v many_o of_o they_o think_v they_o do_v god_n more_o service_n and_o count_v it_o a_o meritorious_a work_n although_o the_o people_n which_o they_o have_v kill_v and_o murder_v be_v no_o heretic_n but_o good_a christian_n many_o of_o they_o and_o be_v faithful_a to_o god_n in_o what_o he_o manifest_v and_o make_v know_v unto_o they_o in_o their_o age_n and_o time_n as_o for_o instance_n how_o many_o of_o these_o good_a people_n aforesaid_a have_v these_o popish_a bloody_a clergyman_n and_o the_o member_n of_o their_o church_n cause_v for_o to_o be_v but_o and_o destroy_v in_o queen_n mary_n reign_n because_o they_o can_v not_o for_o good_a conscience-sake_n submit_v and_o conform_v to_o their_o idolatrous_a way_n and_o worship_n which_o be_v never_o ordain_v by_o the_o lord_n nor_o never_o such_o a_o doctrine_n nor_o practice_n be_v ever_o preach_v nor_o practise_v by_o any_o of_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n and_o so_o this_o doctrine_n and_o practice_n which_o be_v and_o be_v preach_v and_o practise_v by_o the_o popish_a clergy_n and_o the_o member_n of_o their_o church_n be_v ordain_v and_o set_v up_o by_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o minister_n and_o not_o by_o christ_n nor_o his_o minister_n as_o appear_v plain_o by_o their_o wicked_a action_n and_o practice_n aforesaid_a and_o i_o shall_v mention_v more_o of_o their_o cruelty_n and_o murder_n as_o for_o instance_n how_o many_o thousand_o of_o protestant_n do_v they_o kill_v and_o murder_n in_o ireland_n even_o at_o such_o a_o time_n when_o the_o protestant_n be_v peaceable_a and_o quiet_a and_o do_v not_o lift_v up_o a_o hand_n against_o they_o and_o the_o devil_n in_o those_o murderer_n do_v invent_v such_o cruel_a torture_n and_o punishment_n to_o put_v they_o to_o death_n as_o scarce_o have_v be_v hear_v of_o among_o the_o heathen_n which_o be_v no_o christian_n and_o yet_o notwithstanding_o they_o have_v the_o boldness_n and_o confidence_n for_o to_o call_v themselves_o christian_n and_o say_v christ_n be_v their_o saviour_n but_o christ_n hate_v and_o abhor_v all_o such_o murder_n and_o cruelty_n as_o be_v find_v act_v and_o do_v among_o they_o and_o christ_n come_v not_o to_o destroy_v man_n life_n but_o to_o save_v they_o and_o here_o people_n may_v see_v that_o these_o aforesaid_a be_v not_o act_v nor_o guide_v by_o the_o spirit_n of_o christ_n but_o by_o the_o spirit_n
in_o this_o present_a world_n and_o it_o will_v teach_v they_o for_o to_o do_v unto_o all_o people_n as_o they_o will_v be_v do_v unto_o themselves_o and_o it_o will_v teach_v they_o for_o to_o deal_v and_o to_o do_v just_o to_o all_o man_n and_o to_o love_n and_o show_v mercy_n unto_o all_o people_n and_o to_o walk_v in_o lowliness_n and_o in_o true_a humility_n before_o the_o lord_n and_o these_o thing_n the_o lord_n require_v of_o every_o one_o and_o it_o be_v the_o duty_n of_o every_o one_o so_o to_o do_v and_o now_o if_o this_o good_a spirit_n of_o christ_n do_v bear_v rule_n in_o every_o greedy_a dog_n which_o can_v never_o have_v enough_o and_o they_o all_o look_v to_o their_o own_o way_n every_o one_o for_o his_o gain_n from_o his_o quarter_n and_o he_o tell_v they_o that_o they_o be_v blind_a and_o ignorant_a and_o so_o they_o do_v not_o understand_v the_o thing_n of_o god_n and_o now_o if_o people_n be_v not_o wilful_o blind_a and_o ignorant_a you_o may_v see_v that_o there_o be_v as_o much_o difference_n between_o the_o true_a prophet_n of_o god_n and_o the_o true_a minister_n of_o christ_n and_o the_o false_a prophet_n and_o false_a minstor_n that_o either_o preach_v or_o prophesy_v for_o tithe_n or_o money_n or_o both_o as_o there_o be_v betwixt_o light_n and_o darkness_n and_o now_o i_o have_v something_o to_o propound_v unto_o all_o you_o clergyman_n before_o mention_v which_o do_v profess_v and_o say_v that_o you_o be_v true_a believer_n and_o minister_n of_o christ_n and_o that_o you_o follow_v christ_n and_o his_o minister_n for_o your_o example_n and_o that_o the_o scripture_n be_v your_o rule_n and_o guide_n for_o to_o walk_v by_o first_o where_o do_v you_o find_v or_o read_v in_o all_o the_o holy_a scripture_n of_o truth_n that_o any_o of_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n ever_o go_v to_o any_o school_n of_o outward_a learning_n and_o stay_v several_a year_n there_o and_o do_v commence_v from_o one_o degree_n of_o learning_n unto_o another_o for_o to_o be_v make_v minister_n of_o christ_n as_o you_o clergyman_n do_v and_o do_v now_o and_o when_o you_o have_v be_v several_a year_n at_o such_o school_n or_o college_n until_o you_o think_v that_o you_o be_v artist_n and_o be_v sufficient_a for_o to_o preach_v to_o people_n than_o you_o get_v a_o order_n to_o preach_v and_o so_o you_o come_v from_o those_o school_n into_o the_o country_n and_o inquire_v where_o there_o be_v a_o vacant_a place_n where_o there_o be_v no_o minister_n and_o then_o you_o endeavour_v to_o get_v that_o place_n for_o to_o preach_v at_o if_o you_o like_v their_o wage_n but_o if_o not_o than_o you_o inquire_v for_o to_o get_v a_o better_a place_n where_o there_o be_v most_o tithe_n or_o money_n which_o be_v worth_a so_o much_o by_o the_o year_n and_o this_o be_v your_o call_n to_o your_o ministry_n but_o the_o true_a minister_n of_o christ_n be_v never_o call_v nor_o make_v minister_n after_o such_o a_o way_n and_o manner_n as_o you_o be_v and_o be_v not_o this_o way_n of_o you_o in_o be_v make_v minister_n like_v unto_o a_o man_n that_o bind_v his_o son_n to_o be_v a_o apprentice_n with_o a_o tradesman_n for_o several_a year_n to_o learn_v he_o his_o trade_n and_o give_v he_o so_o much_o money_n for_o so_o do_v &_o when_o his_o time_n be_v expier_v his_o master_n give_v he_o his_o indenture_n and_o then_o he_o become_v a_o free_a man_n to_o set_v up_o his_o trade_n and_o to_o trade_n for_o himself_o without_o any_o opposition_n but_o these_o clergyman_n before_o mention_v exceed_v all_o the_o tradesman_n in_o the_o world_n that_o have_v any_o principle_n of_o honesty_n rule_v in_o they_o for_o when_o a_o honest_a tradesman_n sell_v his_o commodity_n he_o deliver_v it_o to_o they_o or_o some_o for_o they_o that_o buy_v it_o and_o pay_v for_o it_o but_o these_o covetous_a clergyman_n aforesaid_a sell_v their_o sermon_n for_o tithe_n or_o money_n or_o both_o and_o keep_v they_o still_o and_o do_v not_o deliver_v they_o to_o those_o that_o pay_v for_o they_o and_o when_o they_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o go_v to_o another_o town_n to_o preach_v they_o may_v have_v some_o of_o their_o old_a sermon_n still_o for_o to_o preach_v to_o that_o people_n and_o if_o that_o people_n do_v not_o give_v they_o any_o money_n for_o that_o sermon_n yet_o notwithstanding_o they_o be_v pay_v for_o it_o by_o their_o own_o hearer_n which_o pay_v they_o so_o much_o every_o year_n for_o their_o preach_v which_o may_v amount_v to_o ten_o shilling_n or_o more_o for_o every_o sermon_n they_o preach_v throughout_o the_o whole_a year_n do_v ever_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n do_v any_o such_o thing_n as_o these_o and_o further_o where_o do_v you_o find_v or_o read_v in_o all_o the_o scripture_n that_o any_o of_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n take_v either_o tithe_n or_o money_n for_o their_o preach_v or_o go_v to_o law_n with_o any_o sort_n of_o people_n and_o take_v away_o their_o good_n and_o chattel_n and_o cast_v they_o into_o prison_n for_o not_o pay_v of_o they_o tithe_n or_o money_n for_o their_o preach_v as_o these_o ungodly_a covetous_a clergyman_n have_v do_v unto_o as_o these_o many_o year_n and_o still_o continue_v and_o go_v on_o in_o these_o wicked_a ungodly_a practice_n against_o we_o as_o be_v before_o mention_v and_o further_o where_o do_v you_o find_v or_o read_v in_o all_o the_o scripture_n that_o any_o of_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n when_o they_o go_v to_o preach_v take_v a_o text_n of_o other_o man_n word_n and_o from_o those_o word_n raise_v doctrine_n reason_n motive_n uses_n and_o application_n as_o you_o clergyman_n do_v now_o and_o further_o where_o do_v you_o find_v or_o read_v in_o all_o the_o scripture_n that_o any_o of_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n baptize_v infant_n and_o have_v surety_n to_o stand_v up_o for_o they_o and_o to_o promise_v that_o they_o shall_v forsake_v the_o devil_n and_o all_o his_o work_n the_o vain_a pomp_n and_o glory_n of_o the_o world_n with_o all_o covetous_a desire_n of_o the_o same_o the_o carnal_a desire_n of_o the_o flesh_n so_o that_o they_o will_v not_o follow_v nor_o be_v lead_v by_o they_o and_o all_o this_o the_o witness_n promise_v in_o the_o behalf_n of_o that_o child_n or_o child_n that_o they_o stand_v up_o for_o and_o when_o the_o priest_n ask_v those_o witness_n whether_o they_o do_v forsake_v the_o devil_n and_o all_o
his_o work_n and_o all_o thing_n above_o express_v they_o say_v that_o they_o do_v forsake_v they_o all_o which_o be_v a_o lie_n in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n and_o his_o people_n and_o these_o person_n and_o people_n which_o do_v so_o promise_v and_o say_v as_o aforesaid_a they_o be_v such_o as_o live_v and_o act_v in_o sin_n and_o evil_n which_o be_v of_o the_o devil_n who_o be_v the_o author_n of_o all_o sin_n and_o evil_n that_o be_v commit_v against_o god_n by_o all_o the_o son_n and_o daughter_n of_o man_n in_o the_o fall_n who_o be_v unregenerate_v and_o not_o bear_v again_o of_o the_o water_n and_o spirit_n of_o life_n and_o these_o people_n which_o do_v thus_o say_v and_o promise_n as_o aforesaid_a they_o be_v such_o as_o do_v not_o believe_v that_o perfection_n from_o lowliness_n of_o heart_n so_o as_o to_o be_v gift_v and_o qualify_v as_o the_o true_a bishop_n be_v that_o be_v ordain_v of_o god_n and_o where_o do_v you_o find_v or_o read_v in_o all_o the_o scripture_n that_o ever_o any_o of_o the_o true_a prophet_n or_o minister_n of_o christ_n be_v call_v master_n as_o a_o name_n or_o title_n to_o set_v up_o self_n above_o the_o common_a sort_n of_o worship_n and_o service_n of_o god_n and_o now_o i_o shall_v propound_v one_o thing_n more_o which_o be_v of_o great_a concernment_n where_o do_v you_o find_v or_o read_v in_o all_o the_o scripture_n that_o ever_o any_o of_o the_o minister_n of_o christ_n or_o any_o true_a christian_n or_o saint_n who_o be_v true_a believer_n and_o follower_n of_o christ_n that_o any_o of_o they_o do_v compel_v or_o demand_v any_o money_n of_o any_o sort_n of_o people_n for_o mend_v and_o repair_v those_o house_n and_o place_n where_o the_o true_a minister_n and_o people_n of_o god_n meet_v for_o to_o worship_v he_o in_o and_o now_o i_o have_v something_o more_o to_o declare_v unto_o all_o that_o profess_v christianity_n and_o salvation_n by_o christ_n which_o do_v say_v and_o believe_v that_o they_o be_v already_o save_v and_o redeem_a and_o justify_v by_o christ_n and_o his_o righteousness_n without_o they_o although_o they_o be_v of_o that_o faith_n and_o persuasion_n that_o they_o must_v live_v in_o sin_n as_o long_o as_o they_o live_v upon_o the_o earth_n and_o that_o none_o can_v be_v set_v free_a from_o sin_n in_o this_o life_n etc._n etc._n to_o which_o i_o answer_v that_o all_o that_o be_v of_o that_o faith_n and_o persuasion_n be_v deceive_v by_o the_o deceiver_n and_o that_o faith_n and_o persuasion_n be_v never_o beget_v by_o the_o lord_n but_o by_o the_o evil_a one_o who_o be_v the_o author_n of_o all_o sin_n and_o evil_n for_o i_o do_v affirm_v that_o all_o people_n that_o know_v christ_n spiritual_o and_o experimental_o to_o be_v their_o saviour_n and_o redeemer_n and_o that_o he_o have_v already_o save_v and_o redeem_v and_o justify_v they_o then_o no_o such_o person_n nor_o 〈◊〉_d will_v any_o more_o plead_v for_o sin_n nor_o a_o continuance_n in_o 〈◊〉_d term_n
