no_o 〈◊〉_d for_o though_o the_o gospel_n be_v preach_v to_o all_o in_o a_o general_a consideration_n as_o before_o be_v show_v yet_o as_o it_o be_v here_o intend_a it_o belong_v to_o none_o nor_o be_v to_o be_v preach_v to_o any_o but_o the_o repentant_a only_o and_o repentance_n though_o it_o be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o gospel_n as_o it_o be_v sometime_o in_o a_o general_a manner_n propose_v yea_o the_o beginning_n and_o first_o principle_n thereof_o and_o a_o peculiar_a gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n as_o before_o also_o be_v note_v yet_o as_o it_o be_v intend_v in_o these_o several_a scripture_n repentance_n be_v no_o part_n but_o only_o the_o preparation_n thereunto_o or_o the_o make_n ready_a the_o heart_n of_o a_o sinner_n for_o the_o same_o in_o which_o consideration_n john_n the_o baptist_n and_o our_o saviour_n both_o preach_v 2._o say_v repent_v for_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n be_v at_o hand_n where_o they_o make_v repentance_n to_o be_v one_o thing_n 17._o and_o the_o make_v a_o gaze_a stock_n both_o to_o man_n and_o angel_n yet_o still_o they_o go_v on_o their_o way_n out_o of_o the_o camp_n follow_v their_o lord_n and_o willing_o bear_v his_o reproach_n count_v his_o rebuke_n great_a riches_n than_o all_o the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o egypt_n of_o this_o world_n which_o be_v now_o crucify_a to_o they_o and_o they_o to_o it_o and_o so_o in_o patience_n but_o he_o alone_o therefore_o in_o sure_a consideration_n of_o his_o grace_n and_o love_n be_v confound_v in_o themselves_o and_o ashamed_a as_o touch_v their_o own_o will_n and_o work_n and_o give_v all_o praise_n and_o honour_n unto_o his_o holy_a name_n they_o do_v beseech_v he_o though_o they_o be_v not_o worthy_a the_o least_o of_o his_o mercy_n that_o he_o will_v be_v please_v word_n and_o prayer_n and_o call_v to_o mind_n their_o manifold_a sin_n and_o trespass_n which_o they_o in_o their_o flesh_n and_o body_n of_o death_n do_v daily_o commit_v against_o he_o pour_v out_o their_o soul_n in_o tear_n before_o he_o bewail_v their_o wretchedness_n and_o misserie_n herein_o beseech_v he_o for_o his_o son_n jesus_n christ_n his_o sake_n through_o who_o they_o have_v now_o great_a confidence_n of_o his_o grace_n that_o he_o will_v not_o lay_v their_o sin_n to_o their_o charge_n but_o forgive_v they_o have_v also_o a_o true_a testimony_n in_o their_o conscience_n which_o free_o as_o he_o give_v christ_n un-them_a he_o conform_v they_o hereby_o to_o the_o image_n of_o christ_n else_o grace_n and_o salvation_n be_v of_o due_a debt_n by_o desert_n which_o to_o teach_v be_v erroneous_a and_o antichristian_a and_o although_o god_n do_v elect_v man_n in_o christ_n from_o the_o foundation_n of_o the_o world_n yet_o do_v not_o the_o elect_a fall_n from_o their_o election_n in_o the_o fall_n of_o adam_n neither_o do_v adam_n himself_o lose_v his_o election_n by_o his_o fall_n as_o they_o will_v infer_v thereupon_o for_o god_n election_n be_v not_o of_o man_n consider_v in_o his_o innocence_n but_o of_o man_n 〈◊〉_d foresee_v fall_v and_o therefore_o they_o be_v say_v to_o be_v choose_v in_o christ_n who_o be_v to_o be_v a_o reconciler_n and_o mediator_n by_o it_o and_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o some_o common_a gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n but_o few_o be_v make_v partaker_n of_o those_o which_o be_v special_a and_o peculiar_a and_o this_o be_v the_o joy_n of_o his_o presence_n for_o evermore_o this_o we_o need_v not_o now_o to_o stand_v to_o argue_v for_o beside_o the_o manifold_a testimony_n of_o god_n word_n which_o testify_v against_o we_o long_o and_o lamentable_a experence_n have_v sufficient_o prove_v it_o and_o do_v daily_o prove_v it_o unto_o we_o so_o that_o we_o have_v more_o need_n to_o mourn_v for_o ourselves_o in_o regard_n and_o baptism_n do_v but_o make_v a_o christian_n outward_o as_o the_o outward_a profession_n and_o circumcision_n of_o the_o jew_n do_v but_o make_v a_o jew_n outward_o and_o no_o better_a do_v they_o judge_v or_o conclude_v of_o any_o but_o when_o they_o see_v better_a cause_n now_o concern_v the_o baptise_v of_o child_n which_o they_o say_v be_v no_o baptism_n at_o all_o but_o do_v call_v it_o the_o mark_n of_o the_o beast_n we_o affirm_v that_o the_o child_n of_o all_o such_o believer_n as_o may_v themselves_o be_v baptize_v may_v also_o be_v baptize_v and_o that_o it_o be_v not_o nor_o can_v be_v the_o mark_n of_o the_o beast_n speak_v of_o but_o be_v true_a outward_a baptism_n first_o to_o avoid_v many_o of_o their_o vain_a and_o idle_a objection_n and_o that_o we_o may_v come_v the_o more_o clear_a to_o the_o point_n let_v we_o remember_v that_o it_o be_v sufficient_o prove_v already_o that_o all_o have_v sin_v in_o adam_n and_o that_o death_n be_v pass_v on_o all_o for_o that_o all_o have_v sin_v in_o he_o be_v pollute_v from_o their_o very_a conception_n and_o that_o therefore_o there_o be_v a_o necessity_n of_o a_o new_a birth_n from_o above_o of_o water_n
