here_o set_v before_o we_o thus_o we_o see_v in_o effect_n what_o it_o be_v that_o we_o must_v remember_v for_o where_o it_o be_v say_v that_o the_o disciple_n be_v a_o sleep_n the_o third_o time_n yea_o although_o they_o be_v so_o lively_o stir_v up_o over_o and_o beside_o that_o which_o we_o have_v this_o morning_n speak_v of_o to_o wit_n that_o we_o right_o well_o see_v that_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n choose_v unto_o he_o no_o companion_n for_o the_o help_a of_o he_o to_o finish_v the_o work_n of_o our_o salvation_n let_v we_o also_o behold_v our_o dulness_n for_o it_o be_v most_o certain_a that_o we_o have_v no_o more_o ableness_n than_o these_o three_o of_o who_o mention_n be_v here_o make_v and_o yet_o be_v they_o the_o most_o notable_a man_n of_o all_o the_o company_n and_o those_o who_o jesus_n christ_n have_v mark_v as_o it_o be_v to_o be_v the_o very_a flower_n of_o the_o twelve_o for_o the_o publishig_n of_o the_o gospel_n throughout_o the_o world_n and_o although_o here_o be_v already_o never_o so_o good_a a_o beginning_n yet_o for_o all_o that_o we_o see_v how_o weak_a they_o be_v and_o this_o be_v set_v down_o to_o this_o end_n that_o we_o shall_v altogether_o have_v recourse_n unto_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o seek_v for_o our_o want_n in_o he_o and_o not_o to_o be_v faint_a heart_a whenas_o we_o shall_v feel_v such_o weakness_n in_o ourselves_o in_o very_a deed_n the_o example_n of_o the_o apostle_n must_v not_o give_v we_o occasion_n to_o flatter_v ourselves_o as_o many_o there_o be_v which_o will_v say_v that_o they_o may_v very_o well_o beside_o we_o be_v to_o note_v that_o the_o near_o we_o come_v unto_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n we_o ought_v then_o to_o be_v most_o watchful_a for_o the_o worldling_n and_o such_o as_o god_n have_v cut_v of_o as_o rot_a member_n and_o forsake_v they_o never_o have_v any_o great_a conflict_n because_o the_o devil_n have_v already_o dominion_n over_o they_o and_o therefore_o we_o see_v that_o they_o may_v sleep_v at_o pleasure_n but_o as_o our_o lord_n jesus_n show_v we_o this_o favour_n to_o call_v we_o unto_o himself_o and_o familiar_o to_o come_v near_o we_o even_o so_o likewise_o do_v satan_n prepare_v combat_n for_o we_o because_o he_o will_v retire_v we_o from_o the_o obedience_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n and_o therefore_o i_o say_v when_o he_o see_v we_o in_o alteration_n in_o geve_v this_o boldness_n to_o joseph_n and_o nycodemus_n that_o they_o fear_v not_o the_o rage_n of_o the_o people_n when_o they_o come_v to_o bury_v our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n thereof_o neither_o have_v he_o take_v baptism_n a_o way_n with_o he_o but_o even_o as_o he_o have_v leave_v we_o the_o sign_n so_o likewise_o be_v it_o eftsoon_o a_o manifest_a proof_n that_o he_o will_v always_o be_v present_a with_o we_o to_o make_v this_o sacrament_n available_a unto_o we_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o we_o must_v also_o acknowledge_v that_o we_o be_v altogether_o god_n will_v show_v himself_o unto_o his_o prophet_n by_o vision_n &_o speak_v unto_o they_o in_o dream_n but_o it_o be_v say_v that_o he_o will_v speak_v with_o his_o servant_n moses_n mouth_n to_o mouth_n howbeit_o it_o may_v be_v allege_v that_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o law_n &_o the_o doctrine_n of_o the_o gospel_n be_v not_o like_a &_o that_o although_o god_n manifest_v himself_o unto_o the_o prophet_n in_o the_o old_a testament_n yet_o will_v he_o not_o show_v himself_o unto_o we_o after_o that_o sort_n to_o answer_v this_o it_o be_v to_o be_v consider_v that_o although_o the_o prophet_n
use_v these_o term_n yet_o do_v he_o it_o only_o to_o fit_v himself_o unto_o the_o time_n wherein_o he_o be_v because_o we_o shall_v not_o say_v but_z that_o we_o have_v a_o great_a measure_n of_o knowledge_n for_o to_o say_v true_o god_n never_o show_v himself_o so_o manifest_o in_o the_o old_a testament_n as_o he_o have_v now_o do_v to_o we_o by_o jesus_n christ_n for_o where_o god_n have_v appoint_v the_o offering_n to_o be_v sacrifice_v in_o the_o old_a law_n which_o be_v but_o figure_n and_o shadow_n to_o be_v oftentimes_o use_v that_o it_o may_v be_v see_v that_o man_n can_v not_o come_v near_o unto_o god_n but_o by_o the_o mean_a of_o a_o mediator_n we_o have_v at_o this_o present_a the_o personal_a presence_n of_o the_o mediator_n himself_o who_o once_o for_o all_o have_v fulfil_v every_o thing_n by_o his_o alone_a sacrifice_n and_o therefore_o there_o be_v now_o no_o sacrifice_n to_o be_v do_v for_o the_o purge_n and_o sanctifi_v of_o sin_n 1.11_o mala._n 1.11_o but_o only_o the_o sacrifice_n of_o thanksgiving_n unto_o our_o god_n who_o therewith_o be_v well_o please_v through_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o although_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o scripture_n that_o at_o the_o come_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n altar_n shall_v be_v set_v up_o throughout_o the_o whole_a world_n to_o sacrifice_n unto_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n yet_o must_v we_o leave_v the_o figure_n and_o rest_n in_o the_o truth_n for_o inasmuch_o as_o the_o altar_n be_v a_o sign_n of_o the_o worship_n of_o god_n because_o it_o be_v say_v that_o sacrifice_n shall_v be_v do_v all_o the_o world_n through_o the_o meaning_n be_v that_o god_n shall_v universal_o be_v worship_v no_o doubt_n of_o it_o the_o pope_n with_o all_o his_o college_n of_o cardinal_n and_o all_o other_o his_o dear_a friend_n the_o romanistes_n will_v conclude_v upon_o this_o place_n that_o there_o must_v needs_o be_v sacrifice_n have_v and_o therefore_o when_o they_o will_v have_v their_o mass_n allow_v they_o bring_v in_o this_o testimony_n of_o the_o scripture_n howbeit_o if_o it_o be_v so_o as_o they_o make_v themselves_o believe_v sure_o sure_o they_o must_v needs_o conclude_v that_o jesus_n christ_n have_v not_o yet_o appear_v nor_o that_o his_o kingdom_n be_v yet_o come_v nevertheless_o we_o see_v the_o contrary_n and_o therefore_o see_v the_o prophet_n have_v thus_o say_v it_o be_v not_o only_o to_o show_v that_o god_n shall_v be_v universal_o worship_v in_o spirit_n &_o truth_n and_o not_o in_o figure_n moreover_o here_o be_v to_o be_v note_v that_o the_o say_n of_o prophecy_n be_v not_o mean_v by_o the_o prophet_n to_o tell_v of_o thing_n to_o come_v as_o in_o the_o old_a time_n it_o be_v take_v but_o the_o meaning_n be_v that_o whosoever_o shall_v have_v the_o gift_n of_o prophecy_n shall_v be_v able_a to_o teach_v and_o apply_v doctrine_n to_o the_o end_n we_o may_v be_v bring_v to_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o truth_n and_o profit_n thereby_o and_o so_o the_o promise_n that_o be_v make_v unto_o we_o of_o the_o come_n of_o jesus_n christ_n contain_v thus_o much_o that_o we_o shall_v be_v more_o deep_o see_v in_o heavenly_a thing_n than_o heretofore_o we_o have_v be_v for_o we_o see_v in_o very_a deed_n that_o s._n paul_n call_v it_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n 2._o â—_o cor._n 2._o under_o which_o all_o thing_n shall_v be_v subject_a we_o be_v now_o therefore_o brief_o to_o conclude_v upon_o all_o thing_n that_o as_o our_o lord_n in_o send_v jesus_n christ_n his_o son_n into_o the_o world_n to_o make_v unto_o we_o a_o more_o lively_a assurance_n of_o our_o salvation_n even_o so_o by_o send_v unto_o we_o his_o holy_a spirit_n he_o have_v make_v we_o great_a partaker_n of_o his_o grace_n than_o ever_o he_o do_v before_o the_o prophet_n joel_n soon_o after_o set_v down_o in_o this_o place_n that_o god_n will_v do_v wonderful_a thing_n in_o heaven_n above_o and_o sign_n in_o the_o earth_n below_o blood_n fire_n and_o vapour_n of_o smoke_n that_o the_o sun_n shall_v be_v turn_v into_o darkness_n and_o the_o moon_n into_o blood_n these_o word_n show_v that_o great_a and_o marvelous_a thing_n must_v come_v to_o pass_v whenas_o jesus_n christ_n shall_v manifest_v himself_o and_o why_o so_o forsooth_o because_o the_o the_o world_n shall_v then_o be_v change_v for_o they_o which_o will_v follow_v jesus_n christ_n must_v whole_o alter_v their_o nature_n and_o therefore_o be_v the_o come_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n call_v the_o latter_a day_n moreover_o this_o be_v not_o speak_v for_o a_o day_n or_o for_o a_o month_n but_o the_o prophet_n refer_v all_o that_o be_v here_o speak_v unto_o the_o whole_a time_n from_o the_o come_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n until_o the_o day_n of_o judgement_n so_o that_o we_o must_v enclose_v the_o wonder_n which_o shall_v be_v do_v at_o the_o come_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n from_o the_o time_n of_o his_o come_n unto_o the_o last_o day_n and_o to_o say_v true_o the_o forward_a we_o go_v the_o great_a thing_n will_v he_o do_v as_o we_o daily_o find_v by_o experience_n now_o that_o we_o understand_v the_o meaning_n of_o the_o prophet_n let_v we_o apply_v the_o same_o to_o our_o own_o use_n for_o where_o it_o be_v say_v in_o the_o first_o place_n that_o god_n will_v pour_v out_o his_o spirit_n upon_o all_o flesh_n we_o be_v to_o consider_v that_o the_o great_a benefit_n which_o we_o can_v possible_o have_v be_v to_o be_v partaker_n of_o the_o grace_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n and_o this_o be_v the_o most_o excellent_a gift_n which_o god_n bestow_v upon_o we_o in_o respect_n whereof_o all_o the_o worldly_a liberality_n which_o he_o render_v unto_o we_o be_v nothing_o for_o whensoever_o we_o be_v bereave_v of_o this_o gift_n jesus_n christ_n be_v take_v from_o we_o and_o until_o such_o time_n as_o we_o be_v clothe_v with_o he_o all_o whatsoever_o we_o do_v tend_v to_o our_o condemnation_n wherefore_o god_n say_v that_o we_o can_v be_v his_o child_n without_o we_o be_v bedeaw_v and_o sprinkle_v with_o his_o holy_a spirit_n now_o if_o we_o be_v not_o his_o child_n we_o shall_v never_o be_v partaker_n in_o because_o it_o be_v he_o which_o sanctifi_v and_o make_v we_o holy_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o god_n so_o then_o until_o such_o time_n we_o be_v as_o call_v by_o the_o knowledge_n of_o the_o holy_a scripture_n which_o we_o can_v no_o way_n have_v but_o by_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n to_o lift_v up_o our_o mind_n on_o high_a we_o be_v fast_o tie_v to_o the_o earth_n as_o if_o it_o be_v in_o hell_n and_o hereupon_o it_o be_v that_o saint_n paul_n speak_v when_o he_o say_v 8.14_o rom._n 8.14_o that_o they_o which_o have_v receive_v the_o holy_a ghost_n guide_v themselves_o according_a to_o the_o will_n of_o god_n declare_v in_o his_o word_n be_v i_o say_v the_o child_n of_o god_n and_o they_o without_o all_o doubt_n be_v the_o child_n of_o the_o devil_n who_o follow_v their_o carnal_a affection_n give_v themselves_o over_o to_o their_o pleasure_n and_o delight_n thus_o we_o see_v how_o necessary_a a_o thing_n it_o be_v for_o all_o those_o that_o will_v be_v acccount_v the_o child_n of_o god_n to_o have_v the_o knowledge_n of_o god_n truth_n moreover_o we_o can_v excuse_v ourselves_o if_o we_o receive_v not_o his_o grace_n because_o he_o offer_v they_o unto_o all_o but_o we_o be_v so_o accurse_v as_o that_o we_o forsake_v the_o benefit_n which_o he_o will_v bestow_v upon_o us._n and_o herein_o be_v know_v the_o goodness_n of_o god_n to_o we_o ward_n that_o although_o we_o strive_v always_o against_o his_o will_n yet_o cease_v he_o not_o for_o all_o that_o to_o offer_v himself_o unto_o all_o as_o it_o be_v here_o say_v by_o the_o prophet_n that_o young_a and_o old_a man_n and_o woman_n shall_v all_o receive_v of_o one_o and_o the_o self_n same_o spirit_n and_o it_o be_v to_o this_o end_n that_o no_o man_n may_v be_v able_a true_o say_v o_o sir_n i_o be_o utter_o unlearned_a and_o therefore_o it_o be_v impossible_a for_o one_o to_o understand_v the_o scripture_n whereby_o i_o may_v receive_v the_o holy_a ghost_n why_o i_o beseech_v you_o have_v god_n promise_v unto_o the_o learned_a alone_o the_o grace_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n &_o to_o none_o other_o now_o sure_o this_o be_v a_o very_a
strange_a kind_n of_o excuse_n and_o therefore_o when_o we_o see_v that_o god_n so_o liberal_o deal_v as_o that_o he_o will_v neither_o exclude_v age_n nor_o sex_n from_o receive_v of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v not_o we_o very_o accurse_v to_o withdraw_v ourselves_o from_o he_o when_o as_o he_o be_v desirous_a to_o come_v near_o we_o and_o to_o say_v the_o truth_n the_o pprophecy_n that_o be_v here_o speak_v of_o be_v to_o be_v accomplish_v at_o the_o come_n of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n wherefore_o since_o he_o at_o this_o day_n have_v all_o power_n and_o dominion_n it_o must_v needs_o be_v manifest_v &_o we_o must_v also_o understand_v that_o the_o thing_n which_o be_v foretell_v be_v most_o true_a and_o therefore_o since_o the_o thing_n that_o be_v speak_v of_o have_v so_o manifest_o appear_v curse_a be_v we_o if_o we_o do_v not_o our_o best_a to_o walk_v in_o the_o fear_n of_o the_o lord_n and_o receive_v the_o grace_n which_o he_o offer_v us._n we_o have_v alredye_a say_v that_o he_o take_v exception_n too_o none_o howbeit_o we_o be_v so_o wicked_a as_o that_o we_o can_v take_v in_o good_a part_n the_o thing_n offer_v unto_o us._n what_o be_v the_o cause_n thereof_o sure_o sure_o our_o infidelity_n wherefore_o neither_o young_a nor_o old_a can_v excuse_v themselves_o of_o this_o fault_n in_o not_o submit_v themselves_o unto_o the_o obedience_n of_o god_n see_v he_o have_v call_v all_o thereto_o neither_o be_v it_o to_o be_v wonder_v at_o although_o they_o so_o little_a profit_n in_o this_o doctrine_n for_o if_o we_o mark_v it_o the_o elder_a sort_n will_v grow_v so_o obstinate_a and_o over_o grow_v in_o wickedness_n as_o that_o no_o exhortation_n will_v do_v they_o good_a and_o the_o young_a sort_n be_v as_o dissolute_a as_o devil_n for_o if_o they_o be_v exhort_v they_o wax_v so_o mad_a as_o that_o to_o any_o man_n think_v they_o will_v tread_v under_o foot_n both_o god_n and_o his_o word_n and_o as_o many_o as_o deliver_v it_o now_o jesus_n christ_n who_o be_v the_o wisdom_n mildness_n and_o méekenesse_n of_o the_o father_n will_v have_v nothing_o to_o do_v with_o such_o fox_n and_o lion_n and_o if_o they_o be_v tell_v that_o they_o must_v humble_v themselves_o under_o the_o mighty_a hand_n of_o god_n to_o the_o end_n they_o may_v understand_v that_o they_o have_v a_o father_n in_o heaven_n who_o will_v not_o care_v only_o for_o their_o bodily_a nurriture_n but_o will_v also_o entertain_v and_o govern_v they_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n they_o pass_v not_o a_o hawe_z of_o all_o this_o but_o take_v leave_v to_o do_v what_o wickedness_n soever_o they_o lust_v now_o because_o the_o time_n will_v not_o serve_v to_o proceed_v any_o further_a herein_o we_o will_v reserve_v the_o handle_n of_o the_o residue_n until_o sunday_n next_o and_o since_o we_o can_v be_v acceptable_a in_o the_o sight_n of_o the_o lord_n our_o god_n but_o by_o the_o mean_a of_o our_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n let_v we_o fall_v down_o before_o his_o majesty_n in_o his_o name_n and_o beseech_v he_o so_o to_o instruct_v we_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n as_o that_o we_o may_v understande_v that_o the_o prophet_n speak_v by_o he_o for_o our_o instruction_n and_o that_o we_o also_o may_v learn_v to_o benefit_n ourselves_o so_o that_o it_o may_v turn_v to_o the_o glory_n and_o praise_n of_o his_o holy_a name_n and_o the_o edify_n of_o our_o neighbour_n and_o so_o let_v we_o most_o humble_o say_v o_o almighty_a god_n and_o heavenly_a father_n etc._n etc._n the_o three_o sermon_n of_o the_o descend_v of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n act_n second_o 18_o and_o sure_o in_o those_o day_n i_o will_v pour_v out_o of_o my_o spirit_n upon_o my_o servant_n &_o upon_o my_o handmaid_n and_o they_o shall_v prophesy_v 19_o and_o i_o will_v show_v at_o this_o day_n he_o inrich_v we_o with_o his_o grace_n if_o the_o fault_n be_v not_o we_o but_o we_o be_v so_o accurse_v as_o that_o we_o be_v void_a of_o they_o by_o reason_n of_o our_o unthankfulness_n for_o his_o liberality_n be_v as_o great_a at_o this_o day_n as_o ever_o it_o be_v in_o the_o time_n of_o the_o apostle_n whenas_o he_o send_v down_o unto_o they_o the_o holy_a ghost_n even_o to_o make_v we_o partaker_n of_o the_o self_n same_o grace_n which_o he_o liberal_o bestow_v upon_o they_o howbeit_o we_o be_v so_o incredulous_a and_o faithless_a as_o that_o we_o stop_v that_o way_n upon_o he_o by_o which_o he_o will_v come_v unto_o us._n for_o when_o he_o call_v we_o by_o his_o word_n to_o make_v we_o partaker_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n we_o draw_v arsewarde_v so_o that_o a_o man_n will_v think_v we_o have_v conspire_v to_o set_v ourselves_o against_o he_o and_o where_o both_o old_a and_o young_a man_n and_o woman_n be_v call_v to_o be_v partaker_n of_o this_o grace_n and_o aught_o to_o endeavour_n themselves_o by_o all_o mean_v possible_a to_o receive_v the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o more_o and_o more_o to_o persevere_v and_o continue_v in_o receive_v of_o the_o same_o we_o see_v the_o elder_a sort_n to_o be_v more_o hard_o heart_a and_o obstinate_a than_o the_o rest_n and_o the_o young_a people_n to_o be_v give_v over_o to_o all_o kind_n of_o lewdness_n so_o that_o if_o they_o be_v tell_v of_o their_o dissoluteness_n they_o wax_v so_o mad_a and_o furious_a as_o that_o it_o shall_v seem_v they_o will_v mar_v all_o and_o when_o man_n shall_v be_v manlyke_a and_o sharp_a witted_a to_o give_v diligent_a heed_n unto_o the_o word_n of_o god_n they_o be_v become_v as_o blockish_a as_o bruit_v beast_n and_o where_o the_o woman_n also_o shall_v be_v humble_a and_o walk_v sober_o and_o honest_o they_o be_v extreme_a dissolute_a and_o too_o too_o gallant_a and_o full_a of_o all_o superfluous_a vain_a vanity_n and_o therefore_o if_o now_o we_o see_v not_o man_n enjoy_v the_o grace_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o god_n here_o speak_v of_o that_o he_o will_v pour_v out_o upon_o his_o servant_n and_o handmaid_n it_o be_v not_o because_o he_o have_v change_v any_o whit_n his_o determination_n and_o purpose_n but_o by_o reason_n we_o will_v not_o suffer_v he_o to_o do_v we_o good_a for_o when_o he_o come_v near_o we_o we_o draw_v backward_o wherefore_o he_o be_v not_o the_o let_v why_o we_o do_v not_o all_o receive_v his_o grace_n for_o the_o prophet_n say_v as_o we_o have_v heretofore_o say_v that_o god_n will_v pour_v out_o his_o holy_a spirit_n upon_o all_o flesh_n he_o namely_o say_v upon_o all_o flesh_n which_o be_v upon_o all_o people_n without_o exception_n true_a it_o be_v that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v send_v unto_o the_o jew_n not_o only_o to_o pull_v they_o from_o out_o of_o the_o bondage_n of_o the_o devil_n but_o to_o make_v they_o partaker_n also_o of_o the_o gift_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n howbeit_o we_o be_v at_o this_o present_a gather_v altogether_o into_o one_o church_n and_o therefore_o there_o remain_v nothing_o but_o to_o show_v the_o effect_n of_o our_o christianity_n and_o of_o the_o grace_n which_o god_n have_v bestow_v on_o we_o and_o they_o let_v we_o not_o doubt_v but_o that_o we_o shall_v receive_v the_o gift_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n since_o it_o be_v say_v that_o god_n have_v not_o pour_v they_o out_o upon_o one_o or_o two_o but_o general_o upon_o all_o man_n wherefore_o it_o be_v not_o enough_o for_o we_o to_o boast_v that_o we_o be_v christian_n without_o we_o show_v the_o effect_n thereof_o that_o it_o may_v be_v know_v that_o we_o vain_o take_v not_o upon_o we_o this_o name_n of_o christianity_n for_o
we_o must_v not_o do_v as_o many_o of_o the_o papist_n do_v who_o neither_o care_n for_o god_n nor_o his_o word_n but_o content_v themselves_o only_o with_o this_o bare_a name_n of_o a_o christian_a and_o so_o they_o may_v be_v call_v by_o that_o name_n they_o care_v for_o no_o more_o now_o if_o they_o be_v ask_v and_o if_o they_o be_v christian_n i_o pray_v you_o what_o answer_n will_v they_o make_v sure_o they_o think_v they_o have_v great_a wrong_n offer_v they_o to_o have_v this_o question_n demand_v what_o i_o beseech_v you_o good_a sir_n will_v they_o say_v be_v we_o not_o christian_n church_n beléeve_v let_v they_o also_o be_v ask_v how_o god_n be_v to_o be_v serve_v and_o worship_v why_o they_o think_v that_o question_n be_v soon_o answer_v and_o thus_o do_v god_n just_o punish_v the_o iniquity_n of_o man_n when_o we_o see_v simple_a soul_n guide_v by_o such_o instructer_n of_o satan_n to_o bring_v they_o tumble_v headlonge_v together_o into_o the_o bottomless_a pyt_n of_o hell_n with_o themselves_o thus_o we_o see_v how_o this_o romish_a idol_n have_v licour_v christendom_n with_o all_o kind_n of_o lie_v and_o false_a doctrine_n and_o how_o so_o forsooth_o because_o man_n have_v stop_v up_o the_o way_n against_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o be_v content_v to_o be_v lycour_v with_o lease_v but_o by_o the_o way_n let_v we_o come_v home_o to_o ourselves_o and_o let_v we_o neither_o condemn_v the_o papist_n nor_o yet_o any_o other_o but_o eftsoon_o apply_v this_o doctrine_n unto_o our_o own_o use_n first_o of_o all_o we_o have_v the_o gospel_n the_o sure_o it_o be_v well_o enough_o perceive_v and_o the_o fruit_n that_o come_v by_o it_o without_o all_o doubt_n it_o be_v true_o say_v that_o we_o have_v the_o gospel_n but_o if_o we_o live_v not_o in_o all_o obedience_n thereunto_o what_o testimony_n shall_v we_o have_v that_o we_o be_v the_o servant_n of_o god_n for_o according_a to_o that_o which_o we_o handle_v on_o sunday_n last_o we_o can_v be_v the_o servant_n of_o god_n without_o we_o be_v partaker_n of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n who_o be_v not_o without_o cause_n call_v the_o spirit_n of_o wisdom_n for_o by_o this_o we_o be_v show_v that_o we_o can_v have_v so_o small_a a_o portion_n of_o the_o holy_a ghost_n if_o we_o will_v continue_v it_o but_o that_o god_n will_v more_o and_o more_o augment_v it_o in_o us._n in_o very_a deed_n every_o man_n can_v have_v the_o like_a measure_n thereof_o howbeit_o that_o be_v no_o let_v why_o we_o shall_v not_o increase_v our_o small_a talon_n for_o although_o a_o man_n have_v knowledge_n of_o that_o which_o be_v speak_v of_o and_o that_o it_o be_v god_n which_o guide_v we_o by_o his_o holy_a spirit_n to_o the_o end_n we_o shall_v not_o be_v like_a unto_o those_o blind_a one_o which_o walk_n in_o infidelity_n and_o thus_o much_o for_o this_o say_n that_o god_n will_v pour_v out_o of_o his_o holy_a spirit_n upon_o all_o flesh_n moreover_o where_o it_o be_v say_v that_o they_o shall_v prophesy_v herein_o the_o meaning_n of_o the_o prophet_n be_v to_o signify_v unto_o we_o that_o when_o god_n will_v instruct_v we_o he_o will_v do_v it_o so_o perfect_o as_o that_o horrible_a and_o merueylous_a thing_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v very_o needful_a that_o we_o shall_v be_v tell_v of_o it_o to_o the_o end_n we_o may_v understande_v that_o the_o come_n of_o jesus_n christ_n be_v not_o to_o place_v we_o in_o this_o world_n as_o in_o a_o paradise_n and_o to_o live_v in_o it_o at_o our_o ease_n and_o pleasure_n but_o that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v send_v to_o a_o other_o end_n to_o wit_n that_o we_o may_v be_v draw_v from_o these_o earthly_a thing_n and_o be_v lift_v up_o unto_o heavenly_a matter_n and_o to_o say_v true_o there_o be_v never_o so_o horrible_a and_o wonderful_a thing_n as_o be_v at_o the_o come_n of_o jesus_n christ_n now_o if_o it_o be_v ask_v why_o such_o thing_n come_v to_o pass_v after_o that_o jesus_n christ_n be_v manifest_v it_o be_v
