who_o he_o will_v to_o make_v spiritual_a law_n and_o decree_n what_o he_o will_v and_o to_o bind_v man_n conscience_n to_o the_o obedience_n thereof_o if_o this_o be_v not_o he_o that_o sit_v as_o god_n show_v himself_o to_o be_v god_n if_o this_o be_v not_o the_o abhommation_n of_o desolation_n set_v up_o where_o it_o ought_v not_o to_o be_v where_o shall_v it_o befound_v can_v the_o earth_n afford_v a_o great_a exaltation_n of_o the_o man_n of_o sin_n then_o this_o and_o do_v it_o not_o reach_v from_o hell_n to_o heaven_n what_o hart_n will_v not_o tremble_v to_o see_v and_o hear_v of_o that_o perish_v first_o then_o here_o be_v prove_v that_o the_o mystery_n of_o iniquity_n prevail_v by_o deceaveablenes_n now_o man_n be_v deceive_v by_o be_v ignorant_a of_o the_o deceit_n and_o it_o will_v be_v yield_v that_o all_o nation_n acknowledge_v christ_n have_v be_v overspr_v and_o under_o the_o power_n of_o that_o romish_a profession_n and_o so_o be_v all_o these_o prophecy_n fulfil_v in_o our_o eye_n which_o have_v be_v produce_v to_o prove_v that_o there_o have_v be_v a_o utter_a desolation_n of_o christ_n power_n and_o authority_n and_o the_o power_n and_o authority_n of_o the_o man_n of_o sin_n exalt_v and_o it_o have_v also_o be_v prove_v that_o all_o that_o submit_v themselves_o to_o that_o power_n of_o the_o man_n of_o sin_n do_v and_o must_v perish_v except_o offend_v but_o therein_o be_v infirmity_n in_o we_o and_o no_o faithfulness_n to_o god_n nor_o they_o the_o wise_a king_n that_o know_v right_o well_o the_o power_n and_o authority_n of_o a_o king_n advise_v not_o to_o stand_v in_o a_o evil_a thing_n before_o the_o king_n for_o he_o will_v do_v what_o soever_o please_v he_o eccle._n 8.3_o but_o in_o a_o good_a cause_n why_o shall_v we_o fear_v to_o stand_v before_o king_n see_v their_o throne_n be_v establish_v by_o justice_n pro._n 16.12_o our_o cause_n then_o be_v good_a for_o it_o be_v the_o cause_n of_o god_n as_o all_o shall_v master_n but_o he_o shall_v please_v the_o one_o and_o displease_v the_o other_o king_n can_v serve_v the_o lamb_n and_o the_o beast_n but_o they_o must_v needs_o hate_v the_o one_o and_o love_n the_o be_v in_o authority_n under_o they_o and_o christ_n and_o his_o apostle_n diminish_v not_o king_n and_o prince_n of_o the_o least_o tittle_n thereof_o and_o all_o spiritual_a power_n be_v in_o the_o observation_n which_o be_v worthy_a to_o be_v observe_v that_o where_o soever_o in_o the_o new_a testament_n throughout_o the_o professor_n of_o the_o faith_n of_o jesus_n be_v adjudge_v by_o earthly_a ruler_n &_o governor_n for_o any_o thing_n that_o they_o do_v or_o hold_v of_o conscience_n to_o god_n &_o of_o faith_n to_o jesus_n christ_n if_o earthly_a ruler_n and_o governor_n take_v the_o cause_n in_o hand_n by_o their_o power_n the_o judgement_n be_v alwae_n wicked_a and_o abominable_a and_o if_o our_o lord_n the_o king_n will_v but_o begin_v his_o observation_n at_o the_o peter_n and_o put_v he_o in_o prison_n then_o be_v paul_n and_o sylas_n take_v at_o philippi_n by_o the_o governor_n and_o people_n and_o be_v sore_o beat_v &_o cast_v into_o prison_n and_o the_o jailer_n command_v to_o keep_v they_o surey_n be_v charge_v to_o preach_v ordinance_n which_o be_v not_o lawful_a for_o the_o roman_n to_o receive_v nor_o observe_v here_o may_v our_o lord_n the_o king_n see_v a_o true_a pattern_n how_o the_o people_n of_o god_n be_v persecute_v when_o the_o civil_a power_n do_v judge_n their_o cause_n of_o their_o faith_n and_o profession_n in_o their_o religion_n to_o god_n thus_o have_v worldly_a governor_n deal_v with_o the_o church_n of_o christ_n when_o the_o disciple_n fall_v under_o their_o censure_n for_o their_o faith_n to_o god_n and_o all_o these_o sentence_n of_o death_n bond_n and_o persecution_n the_o king_n can_v iugd_v to_o be_v unjust_a and_o unlaw_n full_a in_o that_o these_o ruler_n and_o governor_n have_v no_o lawful_a power_n nor_o authority_n to_o judge_n christ_n nor_o his_o disciple_n for_o matter_n of_o faith_n they_o be_v in_o all_o other_o thing_n obedient_a to_o their_o law_n but_o man_n will_v say_v all_o this_o be_v answer_v in_o one_o word_n they_o be_v heathen_a ruler_n now_o if_o our_o lord_n the_o k._n will_v challenge_v a_o prerogative_n or_o power_n because_o he_o profess_v christ_n then_o let_v it_o be_v lawful_a for_o the_o king_n servant_n to_o tell_v the_o king_n that_o it_o he_o will_v profess_v to_o be_v a_o disciple_n of_o christ_n that_o give_v the_o king_n no_o power_n to_o do_v any_o of_o all_o these_o thing_n to_o imprison_v to_o banish_v to_o put_v to_o death_n that_o belong_v only_o to_o his_o earthly_a kingdom_n for_o christ_n and_o appostles_n have_v no_o such_o power_n give_v they_o neither_o teach_v they_o the_o disciple_n to_o take_v upon_o they_o any_o such_o power_n and_o to_o execute_v it_o upon_o the_o contrary_n mind_v but_o teach_v they_o the_o contrary_a to_o instruct_v they_o with_o meekness_n and_o by_o preach_v the_o word_n seek_v their_o conversion_n with_o all_o long_a suffering_n and_o not_o to_o destroy_v they_o by_o severe_a punishment_n yea_o the_o disciple_n of_o christ_n must_v wait_v and_o labour_n for_o the_o graft_n in_o again_o of_o the_o jew_n according_a to_o the_o prophecy_n of_o the_o scripture_n rom._n 11.24.27_o and_o therefore_o the_o king_n know_v they_o may_v not_o be_v destroy_v although_o they_o be_v the_o great_a enemy_n of_o christ_n that_o be_v upon_o the_o earth_n and_o have_v and_o yet_o do_v cast_v the_o great_a reproach_n and_o contempt_n upon_o christ_n with_o such_o word_n as_o be_v most_o fearful_a to_o utter_v yet_o must_v the_o disciple_n of_o christ_n wait_v for_o their_o conversion_n and_o people_n as_o saul_n do_v pull_v they_o out_o of_o their_o house_n both_o man_n and_o woman_n cast_v they_o into_o prison_n force_v they_o to_o flee_v the_o land_n and_o persecute_v they_o with_o
