the_o nature_n of_o god_n and_o so_o tell_v we_o what_o paul_n say_v of_o charity_n etc._n etc._n but_o what_o do_v all_o this_o towards_o the_o prove_v we_o to_o be_v defective_a in_o this_o great_a badge_n and_o mark_n of_o a_o christian_a disciple_n that_o this_o be_v both_o your_o and_o our_o duty_n we_o
which_o he_o doubt_v not_o but_o we_o will_v make_v good_a upon_o occasion_n thou_o in_o answer_n say_v thou_o know_v our_o practice_n well_o enough_o which_o if_o true_a and_o if_o so_o bad_a as_o thou_o endeavoure_v to_o make_v people_n believe_v of_o we_o why_o have_v thou_o bring_v none_o of_o they_o to_o make_v good_a thy_o charge_n against_o we_o and_o as_o for_o our_o principle_n thou_o say_v thou_o never_o hear_v we_o have_v any_o then_o thou_o must_v needs_o be_v ignorant_a of_o our_o way_n and_o religion_n and_o therefore_o in_o thy_o speak_v evil_a of_o it_o thou_o speak_v evil_a of_o thing_n thou_o understand_v not_o and_o so_o be_v of_o that_o generation_n speak_v of_o 2_o pet._n 2._o 12._o and_o as_o for_o our_o faith_n and_o principles_n they_o have_v be_v publish_v to_o the_o world_n both_o by_o word_n and_o write_v they_o have_v not_o be_v hide_v in_o a_o corner_n so_o that_o any_o that_o have_v a_o mind_n to_o concern_v themselves_o against_o we_o and_o yet_o as_o wise_a man_n will_v not_o judge_v without_o a_o understanding_n lest_o like_o thou_o they_o shall_v speak_v evil_a of_o the_o thing_n they_o do_v not_o understand_v may_v easy_o be_v inform_v what_o our_o principle_n be_v however_o we_o be_v a_o people_n that_o believe_v in_o the_o lord_n jesus_n christ_n and_o that_o the_o father_n send_v he_o into_o the_o world_n to_o lay_v down_o his_o life_n a_o ransom_n for_o all_o man_n that_o whosoever_o believe_v in_o he_o shall_v not_o perish_v but_o have_v eternal_a life_n that_o he_o be_v crucify_a without_o the_o gate_n of_o jerusalem_n and_o so_o his_o soul_n hereafter_o unless_o he_o repent_v and_o return_v by_o this_o his_o departure_n from_o the_o religion_n he_o be_v breed_v in_o ans._n thou_o may_v see_v thy_o satisfaction_n be_v without_o ground_n as_o also_o thy_o confident_a presumption_n in_o thy_o pass_v such_o a_o sentence_n upon_o he_o concern_v his_o present_a and_o eternal_a estate_n and_o sure_o thy_o judgement_n herein_o be_v groundless_a rash_a and_o vain_a as_o all_o may_v see_v who_o have_v any_o true_a christian_a understanding_n and_o discern_v and_o do_v but_o observe_v what_o be_v bring_v forth_o under_o your_o teach_v in_o your_o religion_n for_o we_o understand_v no_o reason_n thou_o assign_a for_o thy_o judgement_n but_o his_o leave_v of_o your_o religion_n which_o we_o have_v before_o prove_v he_o have_v good_a reason_n so_o to_o do_v and_o therefore_o neither_o he_o nor_o any_o other_o need_v be_v afraid_a of_o thy_o threaten_v upon_o this_o account_n because_o from_o what_o be_v before_o write_v it_o be_v clear_a that_o there_o be_v great_a defect_n in_o the_o principle_n and_o exercise_n of_o the_o religion_n he_o be_v breed_v in_o if_o he_o be_v breed_v in_o you_o and_o so_o not_o according_a to_o christ_n institution_n as_o may_v be_v see_v if_o compare_v with_o the_o scripture_n and_o that_o there_o be_v no_o such_o defect_n in_o the_o religion_n he_o now_o embrace_v but_o prove_v in_o the_o principle_n and_o exercise_n of_o it_o to_o be_v of_o christ_n institution_n according_a to_o the_o scripture_n and_o herein_o thy_o challenge_n we_o have_v answer_v and_o endeavour_v to_o make_v it_o appear_v both_o to_o thou_o and_o he_o according_a to_o thy_o demand_n but_o if_o thou_o hate_v to_o be_v inform_v it_o shall_v lie_v at_o thy_o own_o door_n and_o thou_o shall_v answer_v for_o it_o thyself_o so_o it_o be_v plain_a he_o may_v have_v change_v out_o of_o a_o principle_n of_o conscience_n and_o pure_a love_n to_o god_n and_o his_o soul_n and_o not_o out_o of_o interest_n humour_n passion_n or_o prejudice_n as_o thou_o seem_v to_o accuse_v he_o and_o as_o for_o thy_o assure_v he_o upon_o thy_o word_n that_o it_o be_v not_o for_o any_o temporal_a advantage_n that_o thou_o seek_v to_o reduce_v he_o but_o only_o in_o love_n to_o his_o soul_n as_o thou_o have_v to_o all_o man_n as_o thou_o say_v ans._n we_o think_v he_o have_v no_o reason_n to_o believe_v that_o thou_o and_o the_o rest_n of_o your_o clergy_n have_v such_o a_o love_n to_o the_o soul_n of_o all_o man_n as_o to_o be_v the_o only_a reason_n of_o your_o come_n among_o they_o to_o be_v their_o teacher_n for_o your_o practice_n which_o be_v a_o sure_a evidence_n than_o your_o word_n speak_v the_o quite_o contrary_a in_o that_o you_o do_v leave_v any_o people_n where_o you_o be_v to_o go_v to_o another_o place_n for_o a_o augmentation_n and_o high_a preferment_n so_o that_o it_o be_v evident_a it_o be_v not_o the_o good_a of_o people_n soul_n nor_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n that_o chief_o move_v you_o in_o this_o concern_n whatever_o may_v be_v pretend_v to_o and_o so_o to_o the_o conscience_n and_o understanding_n of_o wise_a man_n we_o refer_v
