preach_v to_o we_o from_o time_n to_o time_n can_v never_o suffice_v to_o give_v we_o the_o true_a knowledge_n of_o the_o will_n and_o mind_n of_o god_n in_o order_n to_o our_o salvation_n unless_o we_o be_v supply_v with_o divine_a wisdom_n from_o above_o unless_o we_o be_v inward_o inspire_v endue_v and_o enlighten_v with_o the_o spirit_n of_o wisdom_n and_o knowledge_n from_o god_n and_o christ_n jesus_n we_o need_v a_o measure_n of_o the_o divine_a spirit_n and_o of_o the_o divine_a wisdom_n to_o teach_v and_o instruct_v we_o concern_v the_o mind_n and_o will_n and_o counsel_n of_o god_n concern_v our_o salvation_n not_o by_o piecemeal_n and_o in_o part_n but_o we_o must_v know_v the_o whole_a mind_n and_o counsel_n of_o god_n as_o much_o as_o be_v needful_a to_o our_o of_o eternal_a life_n for_o such_o majesty_n and_o power_n appear_v in_o his_o preach_v that_o many_o which_o hear_v he_o be_v strike_v with_o wonder_n and_o say_v never_o man_n speak_v like_o this_o
vital_a power_n and_o motion_n in_o we_o as_o the_o soul_n of_o man_n actuate_v the_o body_n to_o bring_v forth_o the_o proper_a operation_n of_o the_o natural_a life_n so_o the_o divine_a life_n the_o life_n of_o christ_n do_v actuate_v the_o soul_n in_o all_o heavenly_a and_o spiritual_a act_n and_o operation_n so_o that_o i_o be_o for_o preach_v the_o light_n within_o and_o christ_n within_o the_o hope_n of_o glory_n but_o not_o so_o as_o to_o draw_v your_o mind_n from_o christ_n without_o from_o what_o he_o have_v do_v and_o suffer_v for_o we_o on_o earth_n and_o what_o now_o he_o be_v do_v for_o we_o in_o heaven_n for_o as_o he_o have_v die_v for_o we_o and_o make_v his_o soul_n a_o offering_n for_o sin_n and_o satisfy_v divine_a justice_n and_o become_v a_o sacrifice_n to_o god_n of_o a_o sweet_a smell_a savour_n so_o he_o live_v for_o ever_o in_o heaven_n to_o make_v intercession_n for_o we_o so_o i_o will_v not_o have_v your_o mind_n draw_v from_o the_o light_n within_o from_o christ_n within_o by_o what_o be_v preach_v of_o christ_n without_o but_o i_o will_v have_v you_o make_v a_o due_a improvement_n both_o of_o one_o and_o the_o other_o which_o can_v be_v separate_v but_o be_v always_o unite_v and_o join_v together_o in_o a_o right_o preach_v of_o the_o gospel_n i_o know_v the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n crucify_v may_v be_v pervert_v and_o abuse_v by_o some_o and_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n turn_v into_o wantonness_n but_o there_o be_v no_o tendency_n in_o the_o doctrine_n of_o christ_n without_o we_o of_o what_o he_o do_v and_o suffer_v for_o we_o there_o be_v no_o tendency_n in_o this_o doctrine_n to_o draw_v the_o mind_n of_o any_o from_o mind_v the_o work_n of_o god_n within_o the_o seed_n of_o god_n within_o and_o christ_n within_o as_o this_o doctrine_n have_v no_o such_o tendency_n so_o i_o do_v appeal_n to_o god_n the_o searcher_n of_o heart_n and_o the_o righteous_a judge_n of_o heaven_n and_o earth_n that_o i_o have_v no_o design_n nor_o intention_n to_o draw_v any_o man_n by_o my_o preach_a christ_n without_o from_o christ_n within_o from_o the_o light_n and_o grace_n of_o god_n within_o we_o and_o the_o enjoyment_n have_v a_o measure_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n a_o measure_n of_o the_o divine_a life_n act_v in_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o lord_n people_n christ_n life_n rule_v in_o the_o soul_n and_o act_v in_o the_o soul_n as_o the_o soul_n act_v in_o the_o body_n the_o body_n can_v govern_v itself_o but_o so_o long_o as_o the_o soul_n live_v and_o dwell_v in_o the_o body_n and_o be_v unite_v to_o the_o body_n it_o carry_v the_o body_n whether_o it_o will_n so_o when_o this_o precious_a life_n of_o christ_n live_v and_o act_v in_o the_o soul_n the_o soul_n be_v subject_v to_o it_o it_o rule_v the_o whole_a man_n it_o rule_v his_o soul_n more_o immediate_o now_o another_o gird_v we_o and_o we_o do_v not_o gird_v ourselves_o and_o we_o witness_v that_o which_o our_o saviour_n say_v to_o peter_n and_o that_o which_o be_v bear_v of_o the_o spirit_n be_v spirit_n there_o be_v a_o natural_a birth_n that_o have_v flesh_n for_o the_o mother_n of_o it_o but_o there_o be_v a_o divine_a and_o supernatural_a birth_n a_o be_v bear_v again_o and_o bear_v of_o the_o spirit_n how_o be_v this_o wrought_v and_o effect_v answer_v partly_o by_o a_o outward_a ministry_n of_o god_n fit_v qualify_a and_o send_v yet_o it_o be_v far_o from_o i_o to_o affirm_v there_o be_v a_o absolute_a necessity_n to_o depend_v upon_o a_o outward_a ministry_n there_o be_v a_o difference_n between_o god_n ordinary_a way_n of_o form_v christ_n within_o we_o and_o god_n extraordinary_a way_n and_o prerogative_n to_o do_v what_o he_o please_v god_n can_v work_v without_o mean_n as_o well_o as_o with_o mean_n but_o in_o god_n ordinary_a way_n he_o be_v please_v by_o the_o foolishness_n of_o preach_v to_o save_v they_o that_o believe_v 1_o cor._n 1.23_o 24._o we_o preach_v christ_n crucify_v say_v the_o apostle_n unto_o the_o jew_n a_o stumble_a block_n and_o unto_o the_o greek_n foolishness_n but_o unto_o shem_n which_o be_v call_v both_o jew_n and_o greek_n christ_n the_o power_n of_o god_n and_o the_o wisdom_n of_o god_n the_o faithful_a minister_n of_o christ_n they_o labour_v and_o they_o spend_v themselves_o and_o be_v spend_v in_o their_o carry_v on_o the_o work_n of_o the_o gospel_n for_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o their_o hearer_n they_o have_v a_o holy_a labour_n and_o travail_v continual_o upon_o they_o they_o do_v not_o speak_v word_n bare_o from_o their_o brain_n and_o from_o other_o man_n line_n and_o thing_n make_v ready_a to_o their_o hand_n but_o they_o labour_v night_n and_o day_n that_o soul_n may_v be_v convert_v and_o save_v they_o be_v as_o instrument_n in_o christ_n hand_n for_o the_o form_n of_o christ_n in_o the_o soul_n of_o people_n the_o holy_a ghost_n be_v the_o mother_n of_o the_o new_a birth_n pray_o that_o you_o may_v have_v faith_n in_o the_o man_n christ_n jesus_n and_o you_o shall_v abundant_o partake_v of_o his_o spirit_n john_n 7.37_o 38_o in_o that_o last_o day_n the_o great_a day_n of_o the_o feast_n jesus_n
