baptist_n or_o of_o any_o other_o notable_a and_o rare_a personage_n that_o the_o institute_v and_o erect_v of_o they_o now_o and_o this_o attempt_n by_o the_o church_n which_o follow_v which_o have_v not_o such_o certain_a and_o undoubted_a interpreaters_n of_o the_o will_n of_o god_n as_o the_o prophet_n and_o apostle_n be_v which_o live_v in_o those_o church_n be_v not_o without_o some_o note_n of_o presumption_n for_o that_o it_o undertake_v those_o thing_n which_o the_o primitive_a church_n in_o the_o apostle_n time_n have_v great_a gift_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n than_o they_o that_o follow_v they_o have_v dare_v not_o venture_v upon_o moreover_o i_o have_v show_v before_o what_o force_n the_o name_n of_o every_o thing_n have_v to_o cause_v man_n to_o think_v so_o of_o etc_n yet_o every_o one_o do_v not_o understand_v so_o much_o for_o beside_o that_o the_o corrupt_a custom_n of_o popery_n have_v carry_v their_o mind_n to_o a_o other_o interpretation_n the_o very_a name_n and_o appellation_n of_o the_o day_n teach_v otherwise_o for_o see_v that_o the_o day_n dedicate_v to_o the_o trinity_n and_o those_o that_o be_v consecrate_v to_o our_o saviour_n christ_n be_v in_o that_o they_o be_v call_v trinity_n day_n or_o the_o nativity_n day_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n by_o and_o by_o take_v to_o be_v institute_v to_o the_o honour_n of_o our_o savior_n christ_n and_o of_o the_o trinity_n so_o likewise_o the_o people_n when_o it_o be_v call_v s._n paul_n day_n or_o the_o bless_a virgin_n mary_n day_n can_v understand_v nothing_o thereby_o but_o that_o they_o be_v institute_v to_o the_o honour_n of_o s._n paul_n or_o of_o the_o virgin_n mary_n unless_o they_o be_v otherwise_o teach_v and_o if_o you_o say_v let_v they_o so_o be_v teach_v i_o have_v answer_v that_o the_o teach_n in_o this_o land_n can_v not_o by_o any_o order_n which_o be_v yet_o take_v come_v to_o the_o most_o part_n of_o those_o which_o have_v drink_v this_o poison_n and_o where_o it_o be_v teach_v it_o be_v good_a that_o the_o name_n be_v abolish_v that_o they_o shall_v not_o help_v to_o unteach_v that_o which_o the_o preach_n teach_v in_o this_o behalf_n furthermore_o see_v the_o holy_a day_n be_v ceremony_n of_o the_o church_n i_o see_v not_o why_o we_o may_v not_o here_o renew_v augustine_n complaint_n that_o the_o estate_n of_o the_o jew_n be_v more_o tolerable_a than_o we_o be_v i_o speak_v in_o this_o point_n of_o holy_a day_n for_o if_o their_o holy_a day_n and_o we_o be_v account_v we_o shall_v be_v find_v to_o have_v more_o than_o double_a as_o many_o holy_a day_n as_o they_o have_v and_o as_o for_o all_o the_o commodity_n which_o we_o receive_v by_o they_o whereby_o m._n doctor_n go_v about_o to_o prove_v the_o goodness_n and_o lawfulness_n of_o their_o institution_n as_o that_o the_o scripture_n be_v there_o red_a and_o expound_v the_o patience_n of_o those_o saint_n in_o their_o persecution_n and_o martyrdom_n be_v to_o the_o edify_n of_o the_o church_n remember_v and_o yearly_a renew_v i_o say_v that_z we_o may_v have_v all_o those_o commodity_n without_o all_o those_o danger_n which_o i_o have_v speak_v of_o &_o without_o any_o keep_v of_o yearly_a memory_n of_o those_o saint_n and_o as_o it_o fall_v out_o in_o better_a and_o more_o profitable_a sort_n for_o as_o i_o say_v before_o of_o the_o keep_v of_o easter_n that_o it_o tie_v and_o as_o it_o be_v fetter_v a_o meditation_n of_o the_o easter_n to_o a_o few_o day_n which_o shall_v reach_v to_o all_o our_o age_n and_o time_n of_o our_o life_n so_o those_o celebration_n of_o the_o memory_n of_o saint_n and_o martyr_n straighten_v our_o consideration_n of_o they_o unto_o those_o day_n which_o shall_v continual_o be_v think_v of_o &_o daily_o as_o long_o as_o we_o live_v and_o if_o that_o it_o be_v think_v so_o good_a and_o profitable_a a_o thing_n that_o this_o remembrance_n of_o they_o shall_v be_v upon_o those_o day_n wherein_o they_o be_v suppose_v to_o have_v die_v yet_o it_o follow_v not_o therefore_o that_o after_o this_o remembrance_n be_v celebrate_v by_o hear_v the_o scripture_n concern_v they_o and_o prayer_n make_v to_o follow_v their_o
our_o honour_n or_o our_o commodity_n and_o wealth_n but_o as_o i_o have_v say_v our_o life_n ought_v not_o to_o be_v dear_a unto_o we_o for_o therefore_o do_v he_o make_v mention_n of_o the_o confession_n of_o christ_n unto_o the_o death_n that_o he_o may_v show_v we_o a_o example_n and_o forthwith_o speak_v of_o god_n which_o raise_v from_o the_o dead_a that_z by_o this_o mean_n he_o grow_v and_o be_v preserve_v by_o the_o same_o mean_n by_o the_o which_o they_o be_v engender_v why_o shall_v we_o think_v but_o that_o the_o church_n now_o will_v prosper_v by_o that_o government_n whereby_o it_o first_o come_v up_o but_o i_o say_v we_o have_v not_o only_o the_o example_n of_o the_o church_n but_o we_o have_v also_o commandment_n and_o straight_o charge_v to_o keep_v this_o office_n of_o elder_n and_o ancient_n in_o the_o church_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o only_a rashness_n in_o leave_v the_o way_n that_o the_o apostle_n and_o church_n by_o the_o apostle_n and_o it_o can_v not_o be_v govern_v in_o the_o time_n of_o prosperity_n as_z in_o the_o time_n of_o persecution_n under_o a_o christian_n prince_n as_o under_o a_o tyrant_n thus_o he_o say_v but_o show_v no_o reason_n bring_v no_o proof_n declare_v not_o how_o nor_o why_o prosperity_n will_v not_o bear_v the_o elder_n as_o well_o as_o persecution_n neither_o why_o they_o may_v not_o be_v under_o a_o godly_a prince_n as_o well_o as_o under_o a_o tyrant_n unless_o this_o be_v a_o reason_n that_o because_o the_o godly_a prince_n do_v nourish_v the_o church_n as_o a_o civil_a magistrate_n therefore_o the_o ancient_n may_v not_o nourish_v it_o as_o ecclesiastical_a overseer_n now_o see_v master_n doctor_n can_v show_v we_o no_o cause_n why_o they_o may_v not_o as_o well_o be_v now_o ever_o they_o be_v either_o before_o or_o shall_v be_v after_o by_o reason_n whereof_o the_o pastor_n and_o minister_n of_o the_o church_n that_o be_v then_o be_v i_o speak_v general_o and_o of_o the_o estate_n of_o the_o whole_a church_n better_a furnish_v with_o the_o gift_n needful_a for_o their_o mynistery_n then_o be_v the_o minister_n of_o these_o day_n whereupon_o i_o conclude_v that_o if_o the_o aid_n and_o assistance_n of_o the_o pastor_n by_o the_o elder_n be_v think_v necessary_a by_o the_o apostle_n in_o those_o time_n when_o the_o minister_n be_v so_o well_o and_o so_o rich_o replenish_v with_o such_o gift_n much_o more_o be_v that_o aid_n and_o assistance_n meet_v for_o the_o minister_n of_o these_o day_n wherein_o their_o gift_n of_o discretion_n and_o knowledge_n and_o
