lie_v man_n be_v not_o this_o even_o as_o though_o the_o gospel_n so_o far_o as_o the_o light_n of_o these_o controversy_n come_v unto_o and_o their_o ministry_n thereof_o spring_v first_o from_o learned_a yet_o some_o of_o they_o be_v of_o the_o best_a learned_a of_o the_o long_a study_n of_o the_o sound_a judgement_n of_o the_o great_a zeal_n synod_n and_o of_o the_o best_a example_n as_o it_o be_v apparent_a &_o they_o can_v for_o very_a shame_n deny_v these_o thing_n or_o the_o most_o of_o they_o in_o some_o of_o our_o bishop_n why_o then_o do_v they_o not_o follow_v those_o few_o some_o than_o thus_o for_o some_o not_o so_o good_a in_o these_o thing_n to_o shake_v off_o all_o and_o yet_o it_o be_v well_o know_v also_o that_o there_o be_v many_o other_o god_n be_v praise_v beside_o the_o bishop_n that_o may_v compare_v with_o any_o of_o these_o our_o brother_n the_o learned_a discourser_n in_o any_o yea_o in_o all_o these_o thing_n but_o their_o quarrel_n be_v here_o pretend_a only_o or_o chief_o at_o the_o bishop_n conclude_v against_o they_o upon_o these_o premise_n and_o therefore_o not_o meet_v to_o be_v the_o only_a determiner_n in_o ecclesiastical_a matter_n to_o the_o prejudice_n of_o the_o whole_a synod_n this_o conclusion_n we_o may_v safe_o admit_v matter_n be_v the_o bishop_n never_o so_o excellent_a it_o be_v not_o meet_v neither_o do_v they_o nor_o can_v they_o take_v this_o upon_o they_o which_o be_v indeed_o to_o the_o prejudice_n of_o the_o whole_a synod_n nor_o the_o synod_n receive_v this_o prejudice_n by_o they_o nor_o give_v such_o authority_n to_o they_o to_o be_v the_o only_a determiner_n in_o ecclesiastical_a matter_n for_o every_o one_o that_o be_v any_o particular_a member_n of_o the_o whole_a synod_n have_v both_o his_o deliberative_a and_o determinative_a voice_n except_o we_o shall_v speak_v of_o such_o determination_n as_o recollect_v all_o their_o several_a determination_n pronounce_v public_o the_o sententiall_a and_o final_a determination_n of_o the_o matter_n in_o the_o name_n and_o authority_n of_o they_o all_o as_o james_n do_v be_v bishop_n of_o jerusalem_n and_o yet_o neither_o so_o all_o the_o bishop_n do_v it_o but_o one_o and_o the_o chief_a among_o they_o as_o the_o full_a resolution_n of_o the_o whole_a synod_n but_o how_o will_v our_o brother_n clear_v themselves_o of_o this_o whereof_o they_o accuse_v our_o bishop_n for_o they_o pretend_v to_o be_v pastor_n and_o that_o pastor_n and_o bishop_n be_v but_o all_o one_o they_o will_v then_o be_v bishop_n every_o one_o that_o pretend_v to_o be_v a_o pastor_n now_o though_o these_o bishop_n admit_v their_o govern_v elder_n to_o come_v to_o the_o synod_n and_o to_o be_v part_n also_o of_o the_o synod_n with_o the_o pastor_n say_v that_o the_o synod_n consist_v principal_o of_o pastor_n elder_n teacher_n and_o man_n of_o wisdom_n judgement_n and_o gravity_n as_o it_o be_v of_o necessary_a regent_n pag._n 113._o and_o hereto_o they_o urge_v the_o assembly_n act._n 15._o the_o apostle_n and_o elder_n come_v together_o to_o consider_v upon_o this_o matter_n &c_n &c_n yet_o when_o they_o come_v to_o the_o determination_n even_o where_o they_o say_v pag._n 117._o the_o synod_n have_v to_o determine_v what_o shall_v be_v observe_v in_o particular_a charge_n as_o of_o the_o time_n place_n and_o form_n of_o preach_v and_o pray_v
