the_o birth_n of_o our_o saviour_n and_o his_o suffering_n under_o pontius_n pilate_n to_o wit_n 1._o his_o education_n and_o life_n 2._o his_o doctrine_n and_o three_o his_o miracle_n the_o which_o the_o article_n of_o our_o belief_n in_o so_o great_a shortness_n as_o be_v propound_v in_o it_o in_o regard_n of_o the_o common_a weakness_n of_o memory_n can_v not_o in_o any_o commodious_a manner_n set_v down_o it_o shall_v be_v therefore_o to_o good_a purpose_n in_o this_o more_o large_a collection_n of_o the_o doctrine_n of_o faith_n to_o inquire_v of_o they_o before_o we_o come_v to_o his_o nail_v and_o pierce_v upon_o the_o cross_n second_o we_o see_v that_o he_o give_v they_o leave_v yea_o command_v they_o for_o their_o own_o better_a assurance_n to_o take_v a_o sensible_a trial_n that_o they_o be_v not_o deceive_v by_o any_o counterfeit_a illusion_n and_o three_o we_o see_v further_o that_o he_o help_v they_o also_o by_o a_o infallible_a reason_n against_o their_o own_o fantastical_a conceit_n to_o the_o contrary_n in_o all_o which_o thing_n the_o wonderful_a love_n of_o our_o saviour_n be_v exceed_o commend_v unto_o we_o in_o that_o it_o please_v he_o not_o only_o to_o come_v among_o they_o thus_o gracious_o before_o he_o will_v ascend_v in_o his_o full_a glory_n but_o also_o to_o tender_v their_o weakness_n so_o far_o that_o he_o will_v be_v handle_v of_o they_o yea_o which_o be_v more_o that_o he_o vouchsafe_v for_o a_o help_n against_o their_o doubtfulness_n to_o bear_v the_o mark_n of_o his_o wound_n both_o in_o his_o hand_n and_o in_o his_o foot_n agree_v to_o the_o glorify_a estate_n of_o our_o saviour_n after_o his_o resurrection_n and_o therefore_o both_o in_o this_o and_o in_o the_o rest_n the_o love_n of_o our_o saviour_n both_o towards_o the_o eleven_o and_o his_o whole_a church_n and_o therein_o even_o towards_o ourselves_o be_v so_o much_o the_o more_o exceed_o gracious_a as_o be_v say_v a_o little_a before_o as_o we_o see_v our_o our_o saviour_n among_o they_o to_o make_v they_o to_o believe_v false_o that_o he_o be_v rise_v again_o much_o like_a to_o that_o illusion_n which_o the_o witch_n deceive_v king_n saul_n by_o in_o represent_v samuel_n as_o if_o he_o have_v be_v come_v out_o of_o the_o earth_n from_o the_o dead_a to_o speak_v unto_o he_o but_o that_o it_o be_v not_o so_o in_o the_o present_a instance_n as_o they_o timorous_o imagine_v our_o saviour_n take_v the_o best_a course_n that_o may_v possible_o be_v use_v to_o satisfy_v they_o therewithal_o for_o as_o touch_v the_o wicked_a angel_n or_o evil_a spirit_n which_o be_v the_o matter_n it_o seem_v that_o they_o most_o fear_v it_o be_v not_o easy_o to_o be_v think_v that_o they_o be_v permit_v of_o god_n to_o take_v any_o true_a body_n in_o likeness_n either_o of_o man_n or_o any_o other_o creature_n make_v only_o for_o that_o purpose_n that_o he_o shall_v make_v any_o appearance_n thereby_o howsoever_o it_o may_v be_v that_o the_o good_a angel_n have_v sometime_o both_o receive_v body_n by_o a_o extraordinary_a creation_n from_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n which_o they_o have_v by_o a_o extraordinary_a dissolution_n lay_v down_o again_o nevertheless_o it_o be_v likely_a that_o their_o body_n be_v of_o a_o differ_a quality_n from_o we_o like_v to_o those_o which_o we_o shall_v have_v after_o the_o resurrection_n more_o pure_a and_o spiritual_a than_o such_o as_o we_o have_v now_o palpable_a and_o easy_a to_o be_v handle_v and_o feel_v yea_o differ_v from_o the_o constitution_n of_o the_o body_n of_o our_o saviour_n such_o as_o he_o will_v have_v it_o to_o be_v till_o his_o ascension_n though_o it_o be_v already_o glorify_v in_o a_o great_a part_n or_o measure_n even_o from_o the_o first_o moment_n of_o his_o resurrection_n from_o the_o familiar_a deal_n of_o our_o saviour_n we_o may_v just_o reason_n against_o all_o ubiquitary_a or_o everywhere_a presence_n of_o his_o body_n and_o namely_o against_o all_o transubstantiaitng_a of_o the_o bread_n into_o the_o body_n or_o consubstantiate_v of_o the_o body_n with_o the_o bread_n of_o the_o sacrament_n thus_o wheresoever_o the_o body_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n be_v present_a there_o it_o may_v be_v see_v and_o feel_v but_o it_o be_v not_o see_v nor_o feel_v in_o the_o bread_n of_o the_o sacrament_n and_o therefore_o it_o be_v not_o present_a there_o but_o of_o this_o enough_o for_o this_o time_n let_v we_o come_v to_o the_o three_o remedy_n which_o our_o saviour_n use_v to_o expel_v this_o false_a conceit_n of_o his_o disciple_n and_o to_o show_v that_o he_o appear_v at_o this_o time_n sudden_o and_o miraculous_o among_o they_o be_v no_o spirit_n but_o a_o very_a true_a and_o natural_a man_n like_v to_o themselves_o what_o remedy_n be_v this_o question_n our_o saviour_n call_v for_o meat_n and_o do_v eat_v before_o they_o as_o st._n luke_n continue_v the_o holy_a story_n in_o these_o word_n follow_v answer_n 41_o and_o while_o they_o believe_v not_o for_o joy_n say_v he_o and_o wonder_v he_o say_v unto_o they_o have_v you_o here_o any_o meat_n 42_o and_o they_o give_v he_o a_o piece_n of_o a_o broil_a fish_n and_o of_o a_o honey_n comb_n 43_o and_o he_o take_v it_o and_o do_v eat_v before_o they_o explication_n explication_n in_o these_o word_n we_o have_v not_o only_o the_o three_o remedy_n which_o our_o saviour_n use_v but_o we_o have_v also_o and_o that_o in_o the_o very_a first_o word_n the_o effect_n of_o the_o second_o remedy_n let_v we_o therefore_o first_o consider_v of_o that_o a_o little_a and_o so_o proceed_v to_o this_o three_o remedy_n quest_n what_o be_v that_o effect_n ans_fw-fr it_o be_v sudden_a joy_n and_o wonderment_n yet_o without_o settle_a faith_n touch_v this_o particular_a point_n of_o the_o resurrection_n of_o our_o saviour_n expli_v so_o it_o be_v indeed_o for_o so_o say_v the_o holy_a evangelist_n luke_n and_o also_o the_o evangelist_n st._n john_n chap._n 20._o verse_n 20._o he_o show_v to_o they_o his_o hand_n and_o his_o side_n then_o be_v the_o disciple_n glad_a when_o they_o have_v see_v the_o lord_n and_o this_o be_v well_o worthy_a to_o be_v observe_v that_o not_o every_o joy_n or_o more_o than_o ordinary_a affection_n or_o admiration_n concern_v either_o the_o person_n or_o word_n and_o doctrine_n of_o our_o saviour_n be_v by_o and_o by_o of_o a_o true_a and_o lively_a faith_n nay_o rather_o vehement_a affection_n either_o of_o joy_n or_o grief_n not_o proceed_v of_o faith_n be_v for_o the_o time_n a_o let_v and_o hindrance_n to_o faith_n the_o which_o of_o all_o grace_n be_v the_o most_o wise_a &_o temperate_a in_o itself_o and_o do_v best_a quiet_a and_o moderate_v every_o affection_n that_o be_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o man_n nevertheless_o consider_v who_o they_o be_v that_o at_o this_o time_n thus_o joy_v and_o wonder_v joy_v i_o say_v to_o think_v that_o it_o shall_v be_v our_o saviour_n indeed_o but_o wonder_v as_o be_v in_o some_o doubt_n by_o reason_n of_o the_o strangeness_n of_o the_o matter_n we_o may_v well_o think_v that_o their_o joy_n and_o wonder_v be_v not_o altogether_o void_a of_o faith_n though_o in_o this_o point_n they_o be_v not_o yet_o settle_v as_o be_v answer_v thus_o then_o have_v see_v the_o effect_n of_o the_o second_o remedy_n let_v we_o come_v to_o the_o three_o which_o immediate_o follow_v in_o the_o text_n rehearse_v already_o the_o which_o be_v this_o that_o our_o saviour_n call_v for_o meat_n and_o do_v eat_v before_o they_o question_n how_o may_v this_o further_o confirm_v and_o establish_v their_o mind_n answer_n yes_o very_o much_o see_v it_o be_v certain_a that_o howsoever_o a_o wicked_a spirit_n may_v by_o god_n permission_n appear_v in_o the_o outward_a shape_n must_v needs_o he_o so_o for_o else_o how_o shall_v it_o be_v true_o say_v in_o the_o holy_a scripture_n that_o he_o remain_v a_o king_n for_o ever_o and_o that_o of_o his_o kingdom_n there_o shall_v be_v no_o end_n wherefore_o yet_o further_o that_o we_o may_v by_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n help_v ourselves_o to_o the_o understanding_n of_o this_o high_a mystery_n it_o be_v to_o be_v observe_v that_o our_o saviour_n christ_n be_v to_o be_v consider_v of_o we_o either_o more_o distinct_o &_o a_o part_n by_o himself_o as_o he_o be_v the_o head_n of_o his_o church_n or_o else_o as_o he_o have_v his_o church_n as_o his_o spiritual_a member_n mystical_o unite_v unto_o he_o and_o in_o this_o latter_a consideration_n be_v the_o subjection_n of_o our_o saviour_n chief_o to_o be_v understand_v for_o thus_o it_o shall_v be_v most_o clear_a and_o manifest_a that_o christ_n in_o his_o member_n shall_v be_v subject_a to_o the_o divine_a man_n she_o of_o god_n nevertheless_o this_o also_o must_v we_o understand_v withal_o that_o the_o subjection_n of_o our_o saviour_n christ_n and_o his_o church_n which_o now_o we_o speak_v of_o shall_v not_o be_v any_o debasement_n either_o to_o christ_n or_o to_o it_o but_o such_o a_o subjection_n as_o shall_v be_v crown_v with_o perfect_a glory_n and_o chief_o touch_v our_o saviour_n who_o must_v by_o all_o right_a have_v a_o prehemmence_a above_o all_o without_o measure_n to_o the_o which_o good_a purpose_n well_o observe_v master_n beza_n annot_n maier_n that_o there_o be_v in_o this_o word_n subjection_n a_o figurative_a antanaciasis_n to_o be_v respect_v in_o that_o it_o be_v use_v in_o this_o matter_n concern_v the_o son_n of_o god_n together_o with_o his_o church_n in_o a_o contrary_a sense_n to_o the_o same_o word_n as_o it_o be_v to_o be_v take_v immediate_o before_o where_o it_o be_v use_v to_o note_v the_o subjection_n of_o the_o enemy_n of_o god_n and_o his_o church_n by_o his_o subdue_a and_o suppress_v of_o they_o for_o their_o subjection_n shall_v be_v enforce_v against_o their_o will_n and_o to_o their_o most_o miserable_a and_o woeful_a thraldom_n for_o ever_o through_o the_o most_o righteous_a judgement_n of_o god_n but_o the_o subjection_n of_o our_o saviour_n as_o the_o head_n and_o so_o consequent_o of_o his_o church_n as_o the_o member_n of_o his_o mystical_a body_n it_o shall_v be_v most_o voluntary_a and_o willing_a and_o all_o one_o with_o their_o perfect_a glorification_n under_o the_o most_o gracious_a &_o immediate_a government_n of_o god_n world_n without_o end_n for_o it_o shall_v be_v a_o subjection_n to_o god_n in_o perfect_a freedom_n from_o all_o adversary_n &_o in_o the_o enjo_v of_o a_o most_o bl_a ssed_a &_o eternal_a peace_n etc._n etc._n so_o that_o this_o word_n of_o subjection_n be_v use_v rather_o in_o way_n of_o emplification_n than_o otherwise_o and_o that_o to_o the_o singular_a comfort_n of_o
all_o the_o child_n of_o god_n as_o if_o the_o holy_a apostle_n shall_v have_v speak_v thus_o marvel_v not_o at_o this_o that_o i_o say_v all_o the_o enemy_n of_o god_n shall_v be_v subdue_v unto_o he_o for_o even_o the_o son_n of_o god_n himself_o in_o that_o he_o be_v man_n yea_o in_o that_o be_v both_o god_n and_o man_n and_o bear_v the_o office_n of_o the_o mediator_n he_o shall_v in_o we_o shall_v at_o that_o time_n and_o thenceforth_o for_o ever_o continual_o behold_v and_o enjoy_v the_o most_o bless_a presence_n of_o our_o mediator_n by_o who_o we_o be_v once_o reconcile_v and_o unite_v to_o god_n our_o heavenly_a father_n shall_v by_o he_o and_o under_o he_o be_v hold_v in_o so_o sweet_a a_o bond_n of_o subjection_n to_o ouâ—_n god_n that_o we_o shall_v never_o have_v any_o mind_n to_o lift_v up_o ourselves_o against_o god_n or_o at_o any_o time_n to_o withdraw_v our_o dutiful_a obedience_n and_o service_n as_o in_o adam_n out_o first_o father_n all_o of_o we_o do_v cease_v to_o be_v any_o long_a christ_n and_o that_o he_o shall_v lay_v aside_o his_o humane_a nature_n etc._n etc._n answer_n far_o be_v it_o from_o we_o once_o to_o admit_v any_o such_o thought_n the_o meaning_n of_o the_o holy_a apostle_n be_v that_o by_o the_o subjection_n of_o our_o saviour_n which_o he_o speak_v of_o the_o divine_a majesty_n of_o the_o godhead_n both_o father_n son_n and_o holy_a ghost_n shall_v be_v so_o clear_o manifest_v that_o the_o bright_a glory_n thereof_o shall_v not_o only_o infinite_o excel_v the_o glory_n of_o all_o other_o creature_n but_o even_o the_o humanity_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n himself_o so_o that_o though_o our_o saviour_n christ_n shall_v retain_v his_o eternal_a glory_n even_o in_o that_o he_o be_v the_o head_n and_o mediator_n of_o the_o church_n yet_o the_o perfection_n of_o all_o glory_n yea_o even_o touch_v our_o redemption_n justification_n sanctification_n and_o glorification_n shall_v be_v ascribe_v to_o the_o deity_n both_o father_n son_n and_o holy_a ghost_n by_o who_o we_o be_v with_o one_o most_o holy_a consent_n eternal_o elect_v and_o choose_v and_o through_o who_o grace_n towards_o we_o and_o the_o whole_a redeemer_n and_o saviour_n of_o man_n explication_n explication_n this_o be_v indeed_o the_o holy_a meaning_n of_o the_o bless_a apostle_n so_o far_o as_o we_o in_o our_o weakness_n can_v attain_v to_o the_o glimpse_n at_o the_o least_o of_o so_o high_a a_o mystery_n the_o which_o doubtless_o neither_o we_o nor_o any_o other_o shall_v be_v able_a full_o to_o understand_v until_o the_o time_n come_v that_o we_o shall_v know_v as_o we_o be_v know_v as_o the_o some_o apostle_n speak_v and_o that_o we_o see_v it_o fulfil_v before_o our_o eye_n in_o the_o bless_a season_n appoint_v of_o god_n same_o question_n which_o be_v they_o answer_n to_o speak_v more_o general_o as_o all_o the_o fruit_n and_o benefit_n of_o our_o redemption_n be_v by_o this_o last_o and_o high_a degree_n of_o our_o saviour_n exaltation_n most_o comfortable_o seal_v up_o and_o assure_v unto_o we_o and_o to_o the_o whole_a church_n for_o ever_o so_o be_v we_o in_o every_o respect_n both_o of_o his_o princely_a pprophecy_n and_o also_o of_o his_o royal_a priesthood_n and_o k_n ngdome_n exceed_o to_o rejoice_v and_o comfort_v ourselves_o in_o he_o as_o in_o a_o all_o sufficient_a prince_n and_o mediator_n of_o our_o eternal_a redemption_n and_o salvation_n and_o according_o with_o the_o great_a cheerfulness_n of_o soul_n and_o spirit_n that_o may_v be_v to_o yield_v he_o all_o the_o duty_n of_o the_o great_a love_n reverence_n and_o obedience_n that_o we_o can_v possible_o attain_v unto_o proof_n explication_n &_o proof_n it_o be_v indeed_o most_o reasonable_a and_o meet_a that_o it_o shall_v be_v so_o as_o every_o one_o must_v needs_o acknowledge_v in_o his_o heart_n though_o we_o shall_v say_v no_o more_o for_o see_v he_o be_v a_o most_o high_a and_o holy_a prophet_n we_o be_v to_o rejoice_v to_o those_o that_o behold_v and_o sinel_v to_o the_o same_o exodus_fw-la 28._o psal_n 133._o see_v he_o be_v the_o king_n of_o king_n duty_n the_o duty_n and_o so_o crown_v of_o god_n in_o the_o saviour_n will_v adjudge_v the_o wicked_a unto_o be_v from_o a_o adjunct_n as_o we_o may_v call_v it_o namely_o because_o therein_o they_o that_o have_v refuse_v the_o communion_n of_o christ_n and_o his_o church_n shall_v have_v their_o followship_n with_o the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n that_o be_v to_o say_v with_o the_o whole_a company_n of_o all_o devil_n or_o wicked_a and_o unclean_a spirit_n for_o so_o be_v these_o word_n of_o our_o saviour_n the_o devil_n and_o his_o angel_n to_o be_v understand_v according_a to_o that_o revel_v 12.7_o there_o be_v a_o battle_n in_o heaven_n michael_n that_o be_v to_o say_v christ_n and_o his_o angel_n fight_v against_o the_o dragon_n that_o be_v the_o devil_n and_o the_o dragon_n fight_v and_o his_o angel_n that_o be_v to_o say_v all_o the_o rest_n of_o the_o devil_n for_o so_o the_o holy_a scripture_n speak_v of_o they_o as_o be_v subject_a after_o a_o sort_n to_o one_o principal_a mat_n 12.24_o but_o herein_o we_o must_v take_v heed_n that_o we_o be_v not_o over_o curious_a only_o these_o two_o point_n be_v worthy_a our_o consideration_n first_o that_o see_v this_o punishment_n of_o everlasting_a fire_n shall_v be_v so_o sentence_n itself_o now_o follow_v the_o reason_n or_o rule_v and_o law_n of_o the_o same_o question_n what_o be_v the_o word_n thereof_o answer_n for_o say_v our_o saviour_n i_o be_v a_o hunger_a and_o you_o give_v i_o no_o meat_n i_o thirst_v and_o you_o give_v i_o no_o drink_n i_o be_v a_o stranger_n and_o you_o lodge_v i_o not_o i_o be_v naked_a and_o you_o clothe_v i_o not_o sick_a and_o in_o prison_n and_o you_o visit_v i_o not_o explication_n explication_n this_o reason_n or_o rule_v and_o law_n whereby_o the_o judgement_n be_v order_v be_v to_o be_v understand_v as_o contain_v in_o it_o a_o full_a and_o sufficient_a cause_n of_o the_o condemnation_n of_o the_o wicked_a for_o even_o unmercifulnes_n alone_o be_v of_o itself_o very_o damnable_a there_o shall_v be_v judgement_n merciless_a to_o they_o that_o show_v no_o mercy_n say_v saint_n james._n and_o yet_o we_o may_v well_o understand_v as_o be_v touch_v before_o that_o it_o go_v not_o alone_o for_o any_o sin_n will_v easy_o lodge_v in_o the_o heart_n of_o the_o unmerciful_a man_n neithere_o shall_v any_o other_o sin_n of_o they_o be_v neglect_v in_o this_o judgement_n though_o this_o only_o be_v express_v for_o 12_o 36.37_o likewise_o all_o youthful_a prank_n eccles_n 11.9_o and_o chap_n 12._o the_o last_o verse_n every_o secret_a thing_n shall_v come_v unto_o judgement_n yea_o 2_o cor_n 5.10_o all_o thing_n be_v reckon_v within_o the_o compass_n of_o the_o last_o judgement_n all_o fail_n in_o the_o duty_n of_o our-severall_a calling_n and_o all_o transgression_n of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n whatsoever_o the_o reason_n why_o our_o saviour_n make_v choice_n of_o this_o sin_n of_o unmercifulnes_n for_o the_o conviction_n of_o the_o wicked_a have_v be_v already_o render_v when_o we_o speak_v of_o the_o contrary_a virtue_n of_o the_o godly_a in_o the_o other_o part_n of_o the_o judgement_n that_o also_o which_o be_v allege_v before_o to_o the_o praise_n of_o the_o godly_a for_o their_o fruit_n of_o mercy_n through_o the_o gracious_a acceptation_n of_o our_o saviour_n it_o serve_v here_o in_o his_o justice_n to_o show_v the_o indignity_n of_o the_o unmercifulnes_n of_o the_o wicked_a insomuch_o as_o he_o take_v himself_o to_o be_v neglect_v when_o as_o any_o needful_a or_o afflict_a christian_a be_v not_o relieve_v question_n but_o what_o shall_v all_o those_o be_v condemn_v that_o do_v not_o practice_v the_o duty_n of_o mercy_n here_o express_v answer_n the_o reason_n of_o this_o latter_a part_n of_o the_o judgement_n be_v only_o against_o such_o as_o have_v this_o world_n good_a do_v shut_v up_o their_o compassion_n &_o close_o up_o their_o hand_n from_o their_o distress_a brethren_n proof_n explication_n &_o proof_n it_o be_v so_o in_o deed_n the_o reason_n of_o our_o saviour_n be_v so_o to_o be_v understand_v for_o it_o be_v evident_a and_o clear_a that_o even_o of_o those_o that_o be_v needy_a and_o distress_a themselves_o our_o saviour_n have_v his_o bless_a number_n though_o they_o be_v such_o as_o be_v so_o far_o from_o relieve_n other_n that_o they_o can_v succour_v themselves_o and_o beside_o sometime_o even_o those_o that_o glad_o will_v relieve_v those_o christian_n that_o be_v shut_v up_o in_o prison_n can_v be_v permit_v to_o have_v access_n unto_o they_o or_o to_o send_v that_o succour_n which_o they_o desire_v they_o may_v some_o also_o be_v so_o unapt_a to_o comfort_v those_o that_o be_v in_o distress_n either_o in_o prison_n or_o in_o grievous_a sickness_n etc._n etc._n that_o they_o shall_v in_o visit_v of_o they_o more_o discomfort_n then_o comfort_v they_o much_o like_a unto_o those_o to_o who_o the_o apostle_n say_v what_o do_v you_o weep_v and_o break_v my_o heart_n act_n 21_o 13._o nevertheless_o this_o we_o may_v name_n of_o god_n second_o because_o the_o essential_a attribute_n or_o property_n of_o the_o divine_a nature_n three_o because_o the_o work_n of_o the_o deity_n both_o in_o the_o creation_n and_o government_n of_o the_o world_n general_o and_o also_o in_o the_o church_n more_o special_o be_v all_o of_o they_o attribute_v to_o the_o holy_a ghost_n as_o of_o right_o belong_v to_o he_o as_o well_o as_o to_o the_o son_n without_o any_o roberie_n do_v to_o the_o divine_a majesty_n and_o last_o of_o all_o because_o the_o same_o duty_n of_o divine_a worship_n and_o honour_n be_v due_a to_o the_o holy_a ghost_n which_o do_v only_o belong_v to_o one_o and_o the_o same_o divine_a majesty_n of_o god_n proof_n explication_n &_o proof_n that_o the_o name_n and_o title_n of_o god_n be_v attribute_v to_o the_o holy_a ghost_n not_o in_o respect_n of_o any_o excellency_n of_o gift_n and_o ministry_n under_o god_n but_o as_o of_o right_a and_o natural_o appertain_v unto_o he_o from_o everlasting_a to_o everlasting_a we_o may_v see_v it_o plain_o act_n chap._n 5._o verse_n 3._o compare_v with_o the_o 4._o verse_n for_o whereas_o in_o the_o 3._o verse_n the_o apostle_n peter_n scripture_n that_o the_o misery_n and_o torment_n of_o the_o soul_n of_o the_o wicked_a shall_v be_v perpetual_a even_o from_o the_o time_n of_o their_o natural_a death_n and_o so_o to_o continue_v for_o ever_o the_o worm_n of_o their_o guilty_a conscience_n shall_v never_o die_v neither_o shall_v the_o fire_n of_o their_o torment_n ever_o be_v quench_v as_o our_o saviour_n show_v plain_o in_o the_o parable_n of_o the_o rich_a man_n luke_n 16.22_o etc._n etc._n so_o then_o the_o wicked_a be_v say_v to_o die_v a_o second_o death_n moreover_o and_o beside_o the_o natural_a death_n in_o respect_n of_o their_o punishment_n and_o torment_n or_o destruction_n after_o this_o life_n in_o such_o sense_n as_o they_o be_v say_v as_o touch_v all_o grace_n and_o godliness_n to_o be_v dead_a even_o while_o they_o live_v here_o for_o like_a as_o they_o while_o they_o live_v the_o natural_a life_n be_v dead_a because_o they_o want_v the_o joy_n of_o godliness_n and_o thereby_o of_o a_o good_a conscience_n which_o be_v as_o we_o may_v say_v the_o life_n of_o our_o life_n so_o yea_o much_o rather_o because_o after_o the_o end_n of_o the_o natural_a and_o sinful_a life_n of_o the_o wicked_a their_o torment_n begin_v never_o to_o end_v they_o may_v just_o be_v say_v to_o pass_v to_o a_o second_o death_n that_o be_v from_o a_o death_n in_o extremity_n of_o sin_n to_o a_o death_n
