the_o first_o be_v that_o every_o new_a act_n of_o sin_n must_v be_v bewail_v by_o a_o new_a act_n of_o repentance_n not_o that_o it_o be_v possible_a for_o we_o to_o reckon_v up_o or_o even_o so_o much_o as_o to_o remember_v all_o and_o every_o of_o our_o sin_n but_o that_o have_v hearty_o repent_v of_o those_o or_o of_o that_o sin_n which_o most_o dangerous_o have_v waste_v &_o almost_a destroy_v our_o conscience_n than_o we_o ought_v at_o the_o last_o to_o say_v with_o the_o psalmist_n 29.12_o who_o can_v tell_v how_o oft_o he_o offend_v o_o cleanse_v thou_o i_o from_o my_o secret_a sin_n this_o same_o holy_a prophet_n even_o when_o he_o be_v in_o the_o state_n of_o grace_n defile_v himself_o with_o a_o other_o man_n wife_n yet_o he_o sleep_v not_o overlong_o in_o this_o sin_n but_o be_v awake_v by_o the_o prophet_n nathan_n and_o more_o thorough_o by_o this_o sickness_n which_o be_v god_n messenger_n unto_o he_o he_o renew_v his_o repentance_n and_o water_v his_o couch_n with_o his_o tear_n so_o must_v we_o for_o it_o be_v nothing_o but_o a_o slander_n which_o the_o church_n of_o rome_n cast_v upon_o we_o that_o forsooth_o we_o shall_v teach_v a_o man_n who_o person_n be_v justify_v by_o faith_n in_o christ_n commit_v some_o foul_a act_n be_v never_o a_o whit_n the_o worse_a for_o it_o nay_o our_o doctrine_n be_v this_o that_o such_o a_o one_o have_v hurt_v himself_o two_o way_n in_o respect_n of_o his_o own_o guiltiness_n and_o in_o respect_n of_o god_n righteousness_n for_o the_o first_o though_o god_n for_o his_o part_n do_v not_o break_v off_o the_o purpose_n of_o adoption_n and_o adjudge_v he_o to_o wrath_n and_o therefore_o he_o be_v not_o guilty_a of_o condemnation_n for_o sin_n yet_o he_o be_v simple_o guilty_a of_o sin_n &_o have_v grievous_o wound_v his_o own_o conscience_n for_o the_o second_o though_o god_n again_o have_v pardon_v all_o the_o sin_n of_o his_o elect_a even_o those_o that_o be_v to_o come_v by_o his_o decree_n by_o his_o promise_n by_o the_o value_n and_o price_n of_o his_o son_n merit_n yet_o absolute_o and_o actual_o he_o do_v not_o apply_v this_o pardon_n to_o the_o apprehension_n and_o feel_n of_o the_o sinner_n faith_n till_o he_o recover_v himself_o and_o renew_v his_o repentance_n marry_o this_o we_o teach_v that_o god_n uphould_v his_o choose_a child_n so_o by_o faith_n and_o repentance_n that_o it_o be_v unpossible_a any_o of_o they_o shall_v die_v in_o final_a impenitency_n but_o that_o sweet_a sanctifi_a spirit_n which_o dwell_v in_o they_o be_v still_o busy_a like_o a_o be_v as_o we_o say_v and_o never_o leave_v sting_v they_o &_o stir_v they_o up_o to_o repentance_n and_o work_v they_o like_o wax_n as_o it_o be_v till_o as_o much_o as_o it_o be_v before_o grieve_v for_o their_o aversion_n by_o sin_n so_o much_o it_o be_v after_o delight_v for_o their_o conversion_n by_o amendment_n of_o life_n therefore_o as_o all_o they_o need_v not_o to_o doubt_v a_o whit_n of_o their_o salvation_n who_o after_o they_o have_v fall_v a_o sleep_n in_o sin_n awake_v betimes_o and_o water_v their_o couch_n with_o their_o tear_n so_o i_o assure_v you_o holy_a brethren_n their_o case_n be_v dangerous_a &_o desperate_a nay_o they_o be_v in_o a_o curse_a case_n which_o will_v not_o be_v awake_v but_o lie_v still_o sleep_v &_o snore_v in_o sin_n see_v no_o pardon_n can_v be_v procure_v but_o where_o repentance_n be_v renew_v for_o god_n do_v not_o give_v we_o rule_n to_o keep_v and_o break_v they_o himself_o now_o his_o rule_n be_v this_o 17.4_o though_o thy_o brother_n sin_n against_o thou_o seven_o time_n in_o a_o day_n &_o seven_o time_n in_o a_o day_n turn_v again_o to_o thou_o say_v it_o repent_v i_o thou_o shall_v forgive_v he_o therefore_o as_o i_o be_o bind_v to_o forgive_v my_o brother_n in_o deed_n though_o he_o do_v not_o ask_v i_o forgiveness_n but_o i_o be_o not_o bind_v to_o go_v to_o he_o and_o tell_v he_o i_o forgive_v he_o except_o he_o first_o come_v faithful_a be_v subject_a neither_o to_o eternal_a condemnation_n when_o they_o do_v sin_n nor_o yet_o to_o final_a impenitency_n when_o they_o have_v sin_v what_o need_v they_o at_o all_o either_o avoid_v sin_n for_o which_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v condemn_v or_o else_o hasten_v their_o repentance_n of_o which_o they_o shall_v not_o be_v deprive_v this_o question_n consist_v of_o two_o part_n the_o one_o touch_v condemnation_n the_o other_o touch_v impenitency_n to_o the_o former_a part_n i_o say_v as_o before_o though_o there_o be_v sin_n in_o they_o yet_o there_o be_v no_o condemnation_n to_o they_o which_o be_v in_o christ_n jesus_n 8.1_o but_o how_o this_o be_v no_o thanks_o to_o they_o that_o sin_n thereby_o make_v themselves_o guilty_a of_o sin_n and_o as_o much_o as_o in_o they_o question_n i_o answer_v that_o the_o sin_n of_o the_o godly_a be_v therefore_o with_o repentance_n because_o the_o grace_n of_o god_n be_v without_o repentance_n 11.29_o and_o as_o it_o be_v from_o we_o or_o for_o we_o to_o have_v a_o hell_n as_o it_o be_v in_o our_o own_o conscience_n both_o which_o as_o i_o have_v already_o show_v do_v necessary_o follow_v sin_n beside_o see_v all_o the_o good_a we_o get_v by_o sin_n be_v repentance_n and_o grief_n far_o better_o it_o be_v to_o begin_v betimes_o to_o repent_v and_o so_o forthwith_o to_o enjoy_v the_o comfortable_a feel_n of_o god_n merciful_a pardon_n then_o
