for the Law made nothing perfect but the bringing in of a better hope did which hope is Christ as it is said the Mystery and the hope of Glory as it is written Col. 1.27 1 Iohn 3.3 verse and he that hath this hope purifieth himself even as he is pure as Iohn hath said whose words thou would have had by thy craft to have made void and null the Covenant of God in Christ Jesus our Lord which thou could not for Christ Jesus is the end of the one and the beginning and fulfilling of the other who took away the first and did establish the second and by one offering he hath for ever perfected them that are sanctified and their sins and iniquiries will he remember no more as he hath said and where remission of sins is there is no more offering for sin but there is boldnesse to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus by the new and living way which he hath consecrated through the vail that is to say his flesh Heb. 10.9 10 to the 21. But he was not cast into utter darknesse because he had not the Gift given him but because he had it and did not make use of it to serve him with it that gave it unto him and the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to prosit withall if he use it aright in the service but all doth not profit because all doth not obey it and Christ is the true Light that enligteneth every one that cometh into the world and lets him see his sins and the deeds of darknesse but every man doth not love the Light so as in all things to obey it and there is his condemnation not because he hath not the Light made manifest to the view of his understanding but because it is made manifest to the view of his understanding and he loves darknesse rather than Light he that obeyeth the Light is led out of darknesse and hath salvation Iohn 8.12 Heb. 5.8.9 But he that disobeyeth the Light and receives not the Truth in the love of it but serves unrighteousnesse he and all such are for damnation Iohn 3.19 20. 2 Thess 1.9 2 Thess 2.12 FINIS
