the_o very_a name_n whereof_o be_v former_o odious_a to_o godly_a christian_n 14._o they_o bring_v their_o follower_n into_o miserable_a soul_n bondage_n and_o slavery_n as_o the_o jesuit_n and_o popish_a priest_n do_v with_o their_o proselyte_n not_o suffer_v they_o to_o be_v present_a at_o our_o meeting_n and_o exercise_n lest_o they_o shall_v be_v acquaint_v with_o gospel_n privilege_n odious_a to_o the_o people_n as_o if_o the_o despise_n and_o hate_v their_o faithful_a minister_n be_v a_o ready_a way_n and_o a_o fit_a mean_n to_o make_v they_o christ_n true_a disciple_n if_o this_o generation_n of_o man_n shall_v sit_v at_o the_o stern_a as_o i_o hope_v they_o never_o shall_v for_o my_o part_n i_o can_v expect_v but_o little_a freedom_n or_o protection_n from_o they_o either_o for_o myself_o or_o any_o godly_a man_n that_o oppose_v their_o fancy_n 16._o if_o we_o fight_v against_o their_o opinion_n with_o scripture_n weapon_n and_o argument_n and_o warn_v the_o people_n in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n to_o take_v heed_n of_o their_o error_n in_o this_o case_n they_o be_v ready_a to_o make_v a_o insurrection_n upon_o we_o yea_o some_o of_o they_o have_v beat_v some_o of_o our_o hearer_n with_o these_o and_o such_o like_a carnal_a weapon_n do_v they_o maintain_v their_o cause_n party_n and_o kingdom_n 17._o their_o great_a design_n wherever_o they_o come_v be_v to_o pull_v down_o the_o powerful_a ministry_n of_o christ_n as_o that_o which_o stand_v in_o their_o light_n and_o hinder_v the_o build_n of_o their_o babel_n and_o the_o set_n up_o of_o their_o kingdom_n 18._o they_o hold_v that_o we_o can_v have_v true_a peace_n of_o conscience_n nor_o comfortable_o conclude_v that_o christ_n die_v for_o we_o in_o particular_a unless_o we_o believe_v that_o he_o die_v for_o every_o man_n in_o the_o world_n and_o so_o for_o cain_n judas_n pharaoh_n etc._n etc._n thus_o have_v i_o give_v you_o a_o taste_n from_o my_o own_o experience_n doctrine_n but_o have_v itch_a ear_n will_v heap_v up_o teacher_n like_o themselves_o and_o though_o we_o may_v well_o hope_v that_o there_o be_v many_o poor_a mislead_a soul_n who_o god_n will_v in_o mercy_n reduce_v and_o bring_v back_o to_o the_o acknowledgement_n and_o love_n of_o his_o truth_n yet_o for_o the_o seducer_n themselves_o they_o do_v for_o the_o most_o part_n grow_v worse_o 3.13_o 2_o tim._n 3.13_o and_o worse_o and_o run_v from_o error_n to_o error_n it_o be_v the_o just_a judgement_n of_o god_n upon_o they_o 11._o 2_o thess_n 2_o 10_o 11._o that_o they_o shall_v be_v give_v up_o to_o strong_a delusion_n to_o believe_v lie_n who_o have_v not_o receive_v the_o truth_n in_o the_o love_n of_o it_o that_o they_o shall_v be_v fill_v with_o darkness_n and_o error_n who_o have_v not_o spiritual_o improve_v that_o light_n which_o they_o once_o have_v it_o be_v not_o in_o man_n power_n to_o inlighten_v the_o understanding_n convince_v the_o conscience_n and_o inform_v the_o judgement_n of_o a_o erroneous_a person_n we_o can_v only_o moral_o propound_v truth_n to_o the_o understanding_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n must_v make_v the_o understanding_n yea_o the_o wretched_o abuse_v misapply_v and_o wrest_v a_o nose_n of_o wax_n to_o serve_v man_n fancy_n whereas_o we_o ought_v to_o have_v a_o reverend_a and_o high_a esteem_n of_o the_o majesty_n and_o authority_n of_o god_n holy_a word_n by_o which_o we_o must_v be_v judge_v we_o ought_v i_o say_v to_o fall_v under_o it_o to_o submit_v humble_o to_o it_o and_o to_o frame_v our_o head_n
