crave_v any_o thing_n at_o the_o hand_n of_o god_n for_o christ_n sake_n for_o so_o a_o wicked_a carnal_a wretch_n may_v do_v but_o to_o pray_v to_o the_o father_n in_o the_o 18._o name_n of_o christ_n be_v to_o pour_v forth_o the_o soul_n unto_o the_o father_n in_o the_o power_n and_o intercession_n of_o the_o son_n for_o god_n look_v not_o at_o any_o thing_n in_o all_o this_o world_n but_o christ_n man_n may_v be_v high_a in_o gift_n and_o notion_n and_o may_v make_v admirable_a prayer_n for_o word_n and_o sentence_n and_o also_o for_o method_n and_o form_n but_o if_o christ_n it_o away_o as_o abominable_a to_o pray_v then_o in_o the_o name_n of_o christ_n be_v when_o the_o soul_n go_v forth_o into_o the_o arm_n of_o god_n love_n by_o the_o spirit_n and_o power_n of_o the_o lord_n jesus_n who_o be_v the_o son_n of_o his_o love_n q._n see_v that_o man_n of_o themselves_o can_v pray_v aright_o and_o that_o the_o lord_n to_o who_o we_o be_v to_o pray_v know_v our_o want_n before_o we_o pray_v what_o need_n have_v we_o then_o to_o pray_v 32._o a._n as_o man_n can_v pray_v of_o themselves_o so_o neither_o can_v they_o live_v of_o themselves_o for_o the_o life_n which_o the_o saint_n now_o live_v in_o the_o flesh_n be_v not_o by_o any_o power_n of_o their_o own_o but_o by_o the_o power_n of_o christ_n live_v 20._o in_o they_o so_o that_o there_o be_v not_o only_o a_o necessity_n of_o life_n in_o they_o in_o who_o christ_n live_v who_o be_v the_o life_n but_o a_o impossibility_n of_o not_o live_v in_o like_a manner_n though_o man_n can_v pray_v acceptable_o by_o their_o own_o power_n or_o worth_n yet_o if_o christ_n who_o be_v the_o mediator_n and_o intercessor_n live_v in_o they_o there_o be_v not_o only_o a_o necessity_n of_o pray_v but_o it_o be_v altogether_o impossible_a 15._o that_o they_o shall_v not_o pray_v christ_n be_v in_o their_o heart_n the_o spirit_n of_o supplication_n and_o of_o adoption_n cause_v they_o to_o cry_v abba_n father_n yea_o in_o he_o they_o have_v access_n 12._o with_o boldness_n unto_o the_o throne_n of_o grace_n and_o though_o the_o lord_n do_v know_v our_o want_n yet_o he_o have_v command_v we_o to_o 37_o pray_v will_n of_o god_n in_o thing_n spiritual_a yet_o there_o remain_v so_o much_o of_o â—â—_o the_o light_n of_o nature_n in_o he_o namely_o his_o natural_a understanding_n and_o reason_n which_o serve_v he_o and_o whereby_o he_o be_v enable_v to_o act_v in_o moral_n and_o civil_a thing_n and_o to_o 20._o leave_v he_o without_o excuse_n for_o without_o understanding_n and_o reason_n he_o can_v not_o spiritual_a indwelling_a of_o god_n in_o the_o saint_n namely_o the_o eternal_a indwelling_a of_o his_o love_n in_o jesus_n christ_n where_o he_o have_v from_o all_o â—_o eternity_n choose_v they_o and_o make_v they_o one_o with_o himself_o in_o christ_n and_o in_o due_a time_n in_o their_o several_a generation_n have_v manifest_v and_o do_v manifest_a and_o reveal_v this_o love_n which_o be_v christ_n in_o their_o heart_n which_o 6._o do_v assure_v they_o of_o their_o adoption_n and_o of_o their_o union_n with_o he_o and_o whereby_o they_o be_v carry_v forth_o to_o live_v up_o to_o he_o
