may_v be_v sinner_n you_o will_v yet_o reply_v well_o we_o will_v grant_v that_o this_o be_v true_a that_o there_o be_v those_o that_o be_v lead_v by_o the_o spirit_n and_o walk_v in_o the_o spirit_n but_o when_o you_o talk_v of_o so_o much_o spirituality_n in_o mortal_a man_n of_o such_o high_a notion_n as_o live_v in_o the_o fellowship_n of_o the_o spirit_n live_v in_o heaven_n when_o you_o tell_v we_o of_o such_o glorious_a light_n such_o rapture_n of_o joy_n such_o ecstasy_n of_o spiritual_a delight_n here_o be_v the_o fancy_n these_o be_v the_o thing_n which_o we_o can_v but_o account_v the_o foolish_a dream_n of_o delude_a heart_n and_o now_o you_o think_v you_o have_v hit_v at_o last_o but_o be_v not_o this_o it_o which_o you_o say_v the_o spirit_n enlighten_v but_o give_v no_o light_n the_o enlighten_v see_v no_o more_o than_o the_o blind_a the_o spirit_n renew_v man_n and_o yet_o they_o be_v not_o change_v the_o spirit_n lead_v the_o saint_n and_o yet_o they_o follow_v he_o just_a as_o fast_o as_o those_o that_o have_v no_o leg_n the_o spirit_n dwell_v in_o they_o and_o yet_o they_o have_v no_o more_o fellowship_n or_o acquaintance_n with_o he_o than_o those_o that_o never_o see_v he_o the_o spirit_n assist_v and_o yet_o give_v no_o help_n the_o spirit_n comfort_n and_o yet_o give_v no_o joy_n but_o after_o all_o he_o have_v do_v leave_v they_o pleasant_a taste_n and_o smell_n the_o instrument_n of_o music_n their_o melodious_a air_n and_o sound_n to_o gratify_v and_o please_v our_o sense_n and_o be_v the_o fountain_n only_o a_o dry_a and_o unsavoury_a thing_n when_o the_o cistern_n be_v so_o fresh_a and_o full_a have_v fleshly_a exercise_n their_o several_a pleasure_n be_v the_o labour_n of_o the_o husbandman_n the_o travel_n of_o the_o merchant_n so_o strange_o sweeten_v by_o the_o gain_n and_o income_n of_o they_o be_v may-game_n and_o morrice-dance_n sport_n and_o play_n so_o delightsome_a to_o man_n that_o they_o will_v sell_v their_o soul_n for_o such_o pleasure_n and_o be_v they_o the_o exercise_n of_o religion_n only_o that_o have_v no_o juice_n nor_o sweetness_n in_o they_o be_v it_o godliness_n only_o that_o have_v no_o bud_n the_o stalk_n whereof_o yield_v no_o meat_n or_o be_v the_o delight_n and_o comfort_n hereof_o such_o flashy_a and_o airy_a thing_n that_o we_o can_v tell_v when_o we_o taste_v they_o whether_o we_o be_v awake_a or_o in_o a_o dream_n once_o more_o consider_v the_o scripture_n how_o excellent_a be_v thy_o love_a kindness_n o_o god_n therefore_o the_o child_n of_o man_n put_v their_o trust_n under_o the_o shadow_n of_o thy_o wing_n they_o shall_v be_v abundant_o satisfy_v with_o the_o fatness_n of_o thy_o house_n and_o thou_o shall_v make_v they_o drink_v of_o the_o river_n of_o any_o pleasant_a fruit_n do_v the_o crystal_n river_n that_o run_v through_o the_o city_n of_o god_n yield_v any_o pleasant_a stream_n be_v the_o exercise_n of_o glory_n blessing_n praise_n and_o sing_v haleluia_o haleluia_o be_v there_o any_o pleasure_n in_o these_o speak_v sinner_n what_o do_v you_o think_v be_v there_o any_o delight_n in_o heaven_n 2._o be_v there_o not_o something_o of_o pleasure_n what_o mean_v then_o the_o earnest_n of_o their_o inheritance_n which_o be_v give_v here_o the_o apostle_n tell_v we_o eph._n 1._o 13_o 14._o that_o the_o saint_n after_o they_o have_v believe_v be_v seal_v with_o the_o holy_a spirit_n of_o promise_n which_o be_v the_o earnest_n of_o our_o inheritance_n a_o earnest_n be_v a_o part_n of_o that_o whereof_o it_o be_v a_o earnest_n give_v in_o hand_n the_o earnest_n of_o our_o inheritance_n be_v a_o part_n of_o the_o inheritance_n believe_v it_o sinner_n god_n earnest_n be_v no_o jest_n god_n will_v not_o mock_v his_o saint_n
