vanity_n and_o a_o necessary_a light_n unto_o the_o life_n of_o man_n but_o if_o it_o be_v consider_v in_o itself_o without_o the_o word_n of_o god_n and_o godliness_n the_o chief_a point_n whereof_o be_v the_o forgiveness_n of_o sin_n the_o true_a foundation_n of_o regeneration_n or_o new_a birth_n that_o be_v to_o say_v of_o all_o virtue_n it_o be_v great_a vanity_n for_o as_o it_o be_v as_o it_o be_v aim_v and_o level_v at_o a_o certain_a mark_n wise_a why_o god_n often_o time_n disappoint_v the_o counsel_n of_o the_o wise_a so_o god_n do_v oftentimes_o disappoint_v her_o counsel_n to_o the_o end_n we_o shall_v learn_v to_o depend_v and_o stay_v upon_o his_o providence_n by_o the_o which_o no_o doubt_n the_o success_n of_o all_o thing_n be_v direct_v and_o govern_v we_o be_v therefore_o diligent_o to_o follow_v those_o mean_n the_o which_o god_n leave_v unto_o our_o power_n but_o in_o as_o much_o as_o we_o neither_o ought_v nor_o can_v perform_v the_o issue_n and_o fall_n out_o of_o the_o same_o god_n be_v to_o be_v pray_v unto_o that_o he_o will_v so_o dispose_v they_o as_o he_o shall_v know_v expedient_a for_o his_o glory_n and_o our_o salvation_n and_o what_o end_n soever_o he_o shall_v grant_v we_o be_v to_o take_v it_o with_o quiet_a and_o content_a mind_n the_o creature_n doubtless_o be_v not_o in_o our_o power_n but_o in_o the_o power_n of_o god_n the_o creator_n which_o in_o deed_n give_v unto_o we_o the_o use_n of_o they_o and_o use_v also_o our_o travail_n so_o far_o as_o he_o please_v but_o that_o which_o we_o further_o put_v to_o of_o our_o own_o power_n and_o go_v about_o to_o order_v the_o same_o use_n of_o they_o by_o our_o own_o counsel_n be_v altogether_o in_o vain_a god_n therefore_o forbid_v we_o to_o trust_v unto_o our_o own_o wisdom_n wisedom●_n we_o must_v not_o trust_v in_o our_o own_o wisedom●_n but_o that_o in_o such_o sort_n we_o crave_v prudence_n of_o he_o that_o we_o wait_v for_o the_o success_n thereof_o at_o his_o goodness_n same_o the_o care_n of_o prudence_n be_v not_o to_o be_v cast_v of_o because_o of_o ill_a success_n in_o the_o same_o 3_o we_o must_v not_o therefore_o rest_v in_o the_o prudence_n of_o man_n yet_o be_v it_o notwithstanding_o péevish_a waywardnesse_n for_o this_o cause_n to_o cast_v away_o the_o study_n of_o prudence_n because_o we_o have_v no_o good_a success_n therewithal_o our_o calling_n be_v to_o be_v follow_v &_o the_o issue_n or_o fall_v out_o of_o thing_n as_o we_o have_v say_v be_v to_o be_v commit_v unto_o the_o providence_n of_o god_n the_o which_o when_o as_o it_o dispose_v not_o only_o the_o end_n itself_o but_o also_o the_o mean_n which_o tend_v unto_o the_o end_n and_o prudence_n or_o wisdom_n have_v no_o doubt_n the_o principal_a and_o chief_a place_n among_o those_o mean_n therefore_o diligence_n be_v to_o
