love_n subdue_v and_o cruecifie_v and_o kill_v all_o carnal_a lust_n we_o shall_v never_o be_v able_a to_o love_v any_o thing_n in_o competition_n with_o he_o much_o less_o lust_n after_o any_o thing_n in_o contradiction_n to_o he_o and_o so_o abstain_v from_o all_o uncleanness_n detest_v and_o flee_v fornication_n and_o thus_o much_o for_o my_o seven_o direction_n there_o be_v but_o one_o thing_n more_o that_o i_o know_v of_o requisite_a to_o give_v you_o for_o a_o direction_n and_o that_o be_v prayer_n prayer_n o_o what_o will_v not_o that_o do_v it_o have_v a_o kind_n of_o omnipotency_n in_o it_o it_o can_v do_v any_o thing_n even_o with_o god_n himself_o he_o can_v because_o he_o will_v not_o resist_v it_o fervent_a and_o effectual_a prayer_n o_o it_o avail_v much_o as_o st._n james_n tell_v we_o c._n 5._o v._n 16._o to_o this_o mean_n therefore_o betake_v yourselves_o for_o preservation_n of_o your_o chastity_n and_o for_o protection_n against_o temptation_n to_o incontinency_n it_o be_v our_o saviou'r_n own_o direction_n watch_n and_o pray_v that_o you_o enter_v not_o into_o temptation_n mat._n 26.11_o nothing_o so_o forcible_a for_o the_o overcome_a of_o this_o temptation_n as_o prayer_n sure_o never_o be_v any_o man_n foil_v with_o it_o that_o use_v this_o weapon_n against_o it_o and_o do_v not_o first_o forsake_v his_o weapon_n and_o give_v over_o his_o defence_n whatever_o therefore_o else_o you_o do_v be_v sure_a to_o betake_v yourself_o to_o prayer_n prayer_n will_v interest_n and_o concern_v god_n himself_o in_o your_o preservation_n and_o engage_v his_o omnipotency_n in_o your_o quarrel_n it_o will_v obtain_v grace_n to_o subdue_v lust_n strength_n to_o withstand_v satan_n constancy_n to_o continue_v chaste_a and_o in_o one_o word_n conquest_n in_o and_o over_o every_o temptation_n to_o this_o weapon_n therefore_o betake_v yourselves_o and_o doubt_v not_o of_o success_n in_o every_o encounter_n he_o be_v never_o final_o overcome_v by_o lust_n who_o continue_v pray_v sincere_o and_o now_o i_o have_v give_v you_o my_o direction_n to_o preserve_v you_o from_o fall_v into_o the_o sin_n of_o fornication_n i_o must_v now_o leave_v the_o reader_n to_o the_o trial_n of_o they_o and_o my_o prayer_n be_v that_o god_n will_v so_o bring_v these_o direction_n into_o your_o mind_n and_o so_o incline_v your_o heart_n to_o the_o use_n of_o they_o and_o so_o bless_v your_o endeavour_n in_o their_o use_n that_o they_o prove_v as_o so_o many_o powerful_a antidote_n against_o lust_n strong_a remedy_n against_o uncleanness_n and_o effectual_a preservative_n against_o fornication_n so_o shall_v god_n have_v glory_n so_o shall_v you_o have_v profit_n and_o i_o shall_v have_v the_o and_o i_o propound_v to_o myself_o in_o this_o discourse_n and_o all_o this_o and_o much_o more_o the_o lord_n be_v please_v to_o do_v for_o you_o and_o i_o and_o all_o for_o the_o son_n of_o his_o love_n sake_n our_o ever_o bless_a lord_n and_o
