spirit_n return_v to_o god_n in_o a_o natural_a and_o easy_a manner_n as_o a_o part_n do_v to_o its_o totum_fw-la and_o the_o parcel_n of_o air_n or_o water_n return_v to_o and_o incorporate_v with_o their_o element_n and_o that_o as_o the_o body_n return_v to_o the_o earth_n as_o it_o be_v and_o as_o a_o part_n do_v to_o its_o totum_fw-la so_o the_o spirit_n return_v to_o god_n from_o who_o it_o come_v and_o of_o which_o i_o suppose_v solomon_n may_v think_v it_o to_o have_v be_v a_o part_n but_o i_o grant_v that_o if_o the_o soul_n in_o our_o author_n sense_n do_v go_v to_o god_n after_o death_n than_o the_o objection_n which_o say_v he_o do_v not_o prove_v it_o alive_a in_o a_o separate_a state_n be_v vain_a and_o frivolous_a and_o may_v easy_o be_v overthrow_v without_o put_v our_o author_n to_o the_o trouble_v of_o defend_v his_o opinion_n against_o it_o in_o the_o close_a of_o this_o argument_n mr._n w._n ask_v what_o have_v the_o live_a god_n to_o do_v with_o dead_a spirit_n and_o i_o say_v so_o too_o and_o therefore_o grant_v that_o if_o the_o intelligent_a separate_a spirit_n of_o a_o man_n be_v dead_a it_o can_v with_o no_o propriety_n or_o truth_n be_v say_v to_o return_v to_o god_n who_o give_v it_o p._n 61._o mr._n w._n say_v so_o i_o shut_v up_o this_o three_o argument_n and_o with_o it_o my_o proof_n from_o the_o old_a testament_n and_o concern_v these_o threee_v argument_n i_o say_v the_o first_o be_v measurable_o confute_v the_o second_o be_v disregard_v and_o the_o three_o be_v otherways_o expound_v and_o in_o such_o a_o manner_n as_o oppose_v mr._n w_n pretension_n thereupon_o the_o four_o argument_n pag._n 61._o mr._n w._n quote_v here_o that_o text_n of_o scripture_n whereby_o the_o opinion_n of_o the_o soul_n separate_a subsistence_n observe_v well_o the_o reason_n why_o our_o lord_n deliver_v this_o doctrine_n to_o his_o disciple_n viz._n to_o encourage_v they_o against_o the_o fear_n of_o such_o persecution_n as_o be_v likely_a to_o fall_v upon_o they_o in_o the_o prosecution_n of_o their_o great_a duty_n the_o preach_a of_o the_o gospel_n encourage_v they_o not_o to_o sear_v what_o harm_v man_n can_v do_v unto_o they_o upon_o that_o account_n because_o man_n can_v only_o kill_v the_o body_n intend_v the_o person_n but_o be_v not_o able_a to_o kill_v the_o soul_n for_o lay_v any_o other_o sort_n of_o real_a punishment_n upon_o man_n after_o their_o departure_n out_o of_o this_o world_n p._n 62._o mr._n w._n produce_v a_o argument_n which_o i_o think_v
