in_o whatsoever_o circumstance_n both_o in_o prosperity_n and_o adversity_n so_o that_o every_o thought_n and_o motion_n of_o it_o may_v evermore_o tend_v to_o his_o glory_n he_o that_o have_v make_v such_o a_o offer_n as_o this_o unto_o god_n will_v always_o remember_v that_o he_o be_v not_o his_o own_o but_o that_o his_o body_n and_o soul_n be_v buy_v with_o a_o price_n and_o that_o both_o of_o they_o be_v god_n and_o consequent_o will_v be_v careful_a to_o direct_v all_o his_o thought_n word_n and_o action_n to_o this_o one_o end_n that_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n may_v be_v advance_v by_o whatsoever_o he_o undertake_v he_o will_v have_v god_n always_o in_o his_o thought_n as_o the_o only_a object_n of_o his_o high_a love_n and_o adoration_n and_o this_o will_v make_v he_o watch_v continual_o over_o his_o soul_n and_o keep_v it_o pure_a and_o undefiled_a that_o no_o unclean_a thing_n may_v enter_v into_o that_o spirit_n which_o be_v whole_o devote_v to_o the_o god_n of_o purity_n for_o certain_o nothing_o can_v be_v a_o more_o powerful_a motive_n to_o induce_v we_o to_o keep_v our_o heart_n with_o all_o diligence_n than_o the_o consideration_n of_o god_n omnipresence_n and_o omniscience_n that_o he_o see_v we_o perpetual_o in_o our_o most_o private_a retirement_n and_o search_v and_o know_v our_o most_o secret_a and_o hide_a thought_n hence_o it_o to_o repine_v at_o the_o divine_a providence_n and_o to_o fret_v and_o vex_v himself_o at_o the_o prosperity_n of_o his_o brethren_n if_o god_n bless_v he_o he_o will_v acknowledge_v himself_o to_o be_v less_o than_o the_o least_o of_o all_o his_o mercy_n and_o if_o he_o afflict_v he_o he_o will_v receive_v it_o as_o the_o correction_n of_o a_o tender_a father_n that_o pity_v and_o love_v his_o child_n even_o when_o he_o chastize_n they_o last_o he_o that_o have_v make_v this_o offer_n of_o his_o soul_n unto_o god_n whensoever_o he_o be_v in_o god_n house_n in_o order_n to_o the_o angel_n and_o saint_n be_v altogether_o as_o inexcusable_a in_o so_o do_v as_o saul_n be_v in_o his_o expedition_n against_o the_o amalekite_n but_o though_o saul_n fault_n be_v great_a enough_o as_o not_o able_a to_o give_v any_o tolerable_a answer_n to_o it_o now_o for_o in_o the_o new_a testament_n they_o confess_v that_o there_o be_v neither_o any_o direct_a command_n nor_o example_n for_o the_o worship_n of_o angel_n in_o the_o old_a they_o can_v find_v never_o a_o command_n for_o it_o and_o all_o that_o they_o insist_v upon_o there_o be_v the_o example_n of_o some_o holy_a man_n that_o do_v worship_n angel_n without_o be_v reprove_v for_o it_o which_o they_o think_v be_v a_o plain_a argument_n that_o such_o worship_n be_v not_o then_o unlawful_a and_o consequent_o can_v be_v so_o now_o but_o all_o this_o may_v be_v answer_v in_o two_o word_n for_o first_o it_o be_v the_o opinion_n of_o some_o of_o the_o father_n and_o of_o most_o of_o the_o best_a expositor_n of_o scripture_n that_o it_o be_v our_o bless_a saviour_n himself_o that_o appear_v to_o those_o holy_a man_n in_o the_o old_a testament_n and_o then_o it_o be_v no_o wonder_n that_o he_o receive_v divine_a worship_n from_o they_o without_o give_v they_o a_o check_n for_o it_o but_o second_o though_o we_o shall_v grant_v which_o we_o do_v not_o that_o before_o the_o come_v of_o christ_n the_o worship_n of_o angel_n be_v lawful_a yet_o it_o do_v not_o at_o all_o follow_v that_o it_o be_v so_o still_o since_o god_n have_v since_o express_o forbid_v it_o and_o declare_v it_o to_o be_v unlawful_a both_o by_o precept_n and_o example_n and_o therefore_o if_o they_o will_v answer_v ingenuous_o to_o this_o question_n who_o have_v require_v this_o at_o your_o hand_n they_o must_v
