promise_v to_o he_o that_o do_v so_o confess_v his_o sin_n that_o upon_o the_o faithfulness_n and_o righteousness_n of_o god_n he_o shall_v be_v absolve_v and_o purge_v from_o the_o guilt_n of_o sin_n which_o christ_n have_v purchase_v for_o his_o salvation_n vers._n 10._o if_o we_o say_v that_o we_o have_v not_o sin_v we_o make_v he_o a_o liar_n and_o his_o word_n be_v not_o in_o we_o note_v 5._o be_v negative_a he_o that_o be_v a_o true_a believer_n do_v neither_o deny_v nor_o extenuate_v his_o sin_n past_a as_o if_o either_o with_o that_o pharisee_fw-mi he_o have_v perform_v all_o the_o have_v not_o be_v so_o guilty_a of_o death_n that_o he_o need_v such_o a_o expiation_n as_o the_o death_n of_o the_o son_n of_o god_n be_v he_o be_v a_o blasphemer_n against_o god_n accuse_v he_o of_o god_n in_o the_o last_o verse_n of_o the_o former_a chapter_n he_o exhort_v they_o to_o believe_v no_o spirit_n or_o doctrine_n come_v from_o any_o spirit_n before_o they_o have_v examine_v and_o prove_v whether_o it_o be_v of_o god_n the_o argument_n of_o the_o exhortation_n be_v six_o argum._n 1._o many_o false_a prophet_n or_o heretic_n be_v rise_v and_o be_v now_o go_v out_o open_o into_o the_o world_n therefore_o you_o ought_v not_o to_o believe_v any_o doctrine_n unless_o it_o be_v first_o examine_v vers._n 2._o hereby_o know_v you_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n every_o spirit_n that_o this_o spirit_n or_o this_o doctrine_n be_v of_o god_n vers._n 3._o and_o every_o spirit_n that_o confess_v not_o that_o jesus_n be_v come_v in_o the_o flesh_n be_v not_o of_o god_n and_o this_o be_v that_o spirit_n of_o antichrist_n whereof_o you_o have_v hear_v that_o it_o shall_v come_v and_o even_o now_o already_o be_v it_o in_o the_o world_n this_o other_o part_n of_o the_o rule_n be_v negative_a whatsoever_o spirit_n or_o whatsoever_o doctrine_n do_v not_o real_o and_o firm_o confess_v jesus_n christ_n after_o that_o manner_n viz._n as_o be_v abovesaid_a but_o do_v diminish_v any_o thing_n from_o his_o person_n or_o from_o his_o office_n or_o his_o virtue_n or_o efficacy_n for_o the_o beginning_n or_o most_o full_o perfect_v salvation_n for_o we_o he_o be_v not_o of_o god_n but_o it_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o antichrist_n which_o spirit_n be_v now_o already_o in_o the_o world_n although_o it_o have_v not_o as_o yet_o so_o prevail_v that_o it_o can_v erect_v a_o throne_n to_o itself_o open_o in_o the_o church_n therefore_o see_v you_o have_v this_o rule_n you_o ought_v not_o to_o admit_v any_o doctrine_n unless_o it_o be_v examine_v vers._n 4._o you_o be_v of_o god_n
