of_o thy_o sin_n and_o affect_v thy_o heart_n into_o a_o sense_n of_o they_o but_o so_o that_o while_o thou_o be_v stir_v up_o thy_o sorrow_n thou_o weakene_a thy_o faith_n on_o the_o promise_n that_o be_v thy_o sin_n he_o be_v a_o bad_a chirurgeon_n that_o in_o open_v a_o vein_n go_v so_o deep_a that_o he_o cut_v a_o artery_n and_o lame_v the_o arm_n if_o not_o kill_v the_o man_n or_o thou_o be_v think_v of_o thy_o family_n and_o provide_v for_o that_o this_o thou_o ought_v to_o do_v and_o be_v worse_a than_o a_o infidel_n if_o thou_o neglecte_v but_o may_v be_v these_o thought_n be_v so_o distract_n and_o distrustful_a as_o if_o there_o be_v no_o promise_n no_o providence_n to_o relieve_v thou_o god_n take_v this_o ill_a because_o it_o reflect_v upon_o his_o care_n of_o thou_o o_o how_o near_o do_v our_o duty_n here_o stand_v to_o our_o sin_n so_o much_o care_n be_v necessary_a ballast_n to_o the_o soul_n a_o little_a more_o sink_v it_o under_o the_o wave_n of_o unbelief_n like_o some_o thing_n very_o wholesome_a but_o one_o degree_n more_o of_o hot_a or_o cold_a will_v make_v they_o poison_v chap._n viii_o how_o satan_n labour_v to_o corrupt_v the_o christian_n mind_n with_o error_n the_o second_o sort_n of_o spiritual_a sin_n be_v such_o as_o be_v not_o only_o act_v in_o the_o spirit_n but_o be_v conversant_a about_o spiritual_a object_n proper_a to_o the_o soul_n nature_n that_o be_v a_o spirit_n and_o not_o lay_v out_o in_o carnal_a passion_n of_o fleshly_a lust_n in_o which_o the_o soul_n act_v but_o as_o a_o pander_n for_o the_o body_n and_o partake_v of_o their_o delight_n only_o by_o way_n of_o sympathy_n for_o as_o the_o soul_n feel_v the_o body_n pain_n no_o other_o way_n then_o by_o sympathy_n so_o neither_o do_v it_o share_n in_o the_o pleasure_n of_o the_o flesh_n by_o any_o proper_a taste_n it_o have_v of_o they_o but_o only_o from_o its_o near_a neighbourhood_n with_o the_o body_n do_v sympathize_v with_o its_o joy_n but_o in_o spiritual_a wickedness_n that_o corrupt_v the_o mind_n here_o the_o soul_n move_v in_o its_o own_o sphere_n with_o a_o delight_n proper_a to_o itself_o and_o there_o be_v no_o less_o
