the_o earth_n and_o they_o that_o be_v out_o of_o this_o whatever_o worship_n profession_n or_o religion_n they_o be_v of_o its_o worth_a nothing_o and_o say_v the_o apostle_n further_o in_o 2_o cor._n 10.12_o for_o we_o dare_v not_o make_v ourselves_o of_o the_o number_n or_o compare_v ourselves_o with_o some_o that_o commend_v themselves_o but_o they_o measure_v themselves_o by_o themselves_o and_o compare_v themselves_o among_o themselves_o be_v not_o wise_a but_o we_o will_v not_o boast_v of_o thing_n without_o our_o measure_n but_o according_a to_o the_o measure_n of_o the_o rule_n which_o god_n have_v distribute_v to_o we_o a_o measure_n even_o to_o reach_v unto_o you_o now_o this_o rule_n this_o measure_n be_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n by_o which_o they_o reach_v the_o rule_n and_o the_o measure_n and_o that_o be_v it_o which_o bring_v to_o do_v unto_o all_o man_n as_o they_o will_v have_v they_o do_v unto_o they_o to_o that_o royal_a law_n and_o royal_a liberty_n and_o royal_a society_n and_o they_o that_o do_v so_o do_v show_v their_o loyalty_n and_o obedience_n unto_o god_n and_o his_o law_n so_o all_o people_n in_o the_o whole_a world_n of_o what_o sect_n or_o worship_n or_o religion_n soever_o they_o must_v come_v to_o their_o measure_n of_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o so_o to_o the_o rule_n and_o lay_v away_o their_o own_o rule_n that_o they_o rule_v thing_n by_o and_o rule_v their_o religion_n by_o and_o their_o worship_n by_o and_o righteousness_n by_o that_o they_o have_v make_v and_o lay_v aside_o their_o measure_n by_o which_o they_o have_v measure_v their_o religion_n and_o worship_n and_o their_o righteousness_n and_o have_v measure_v other_o now_o if_o people_n will_v not_o come_v according_a to_o their_o measure_n and_o their_o rule_n they_o have_v be_v ready_a to_o destroy_v god_n creature_n who_o be_v make_v after_o the_o similitude_n of_o god_n and_o to_o curse_v they_o and_o to_o damn_v they_o this_o be_v the_o practice_n of_o such_o that_o measure_n with_o their_o own_o measure_n and_o that_o walk_v according_a to_o their_o own_o rule_n who_o have_v not_o natural_a affection_n that_o do_v come_v to_o the_o royal_a law_n and_o liberty_n therefore_o all_o i_o say_v must_v lay_v aside_o their_o own_o measure_n and_o rule_v and_o come_v to_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o so_o to_o the_o rule_n which_o be_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n by_o which_o they_o may_v come_v to_o the_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n and_o so_o to_o the_o royal_a society_n and_o so_o to_o the_o natural_a affection_n to_o the_o divine_a and_o natural_a affection_n and_o that_o of_o the_o apostle_n in_o 1_o cor._n 13._o be_v very_o remarkable_a where_o the_o apostle_n speak_v of_o love_n which_o ought_v to_o be_v among_o all_o christian_n who_o profess_v the_o name_n of_o christ_n which_o love_n if_o a_o man_n have_v not_o he_o be_v nothing_o nay_o his_o religion_n and_o worship_n be_v nothing_o yea_o if_o he_o have_v faith_n it_o be_v nothing_o if_o he_o have_v not_o love_n if_o he_o say_v he_o have_v knowledge_n and_o know_v secret_n if_o he_o say_v he_o have_v prophesy_v if_o he_o speak_v with_o tongue_n and_o have_v not_o love_n all_o be_v nothing_o and_o so_o his_o profession_n be_v nothing_o so_o all_o you_o scholar_n all_o you_o sect_n in_o the_o whole_a christendom_n if_o you_o have_v not_o this_o love_n if_o out_o of_o it_o all_o that_o you_o have_v be_v nothing_o if_o you_o feed_v the_o poor_a and_o give_v your_o body_n to_o be_v burn_v and_o will_v burn_v other_o all_o this_o will_v profit_v you_o nothing_o if_o i_o say_v you_o have_v not_o love_n love_n to_o one_o another_o love_n to_o god_n love_n to_o christ_n love_n to_o enemy_n natural_a affection_n through_o which_o you_o will_v not_o destroy_v nature_n you_o will_v not_o destroy_v god_n creature_n god_n creation_n man_n and_o woman_n who_o god_n have_v make_v after_o his_o own_o similitude_n you_o profess_v you_o love_n god_n and_o yet_o hate_v your_o brethren_n for_o you_o be_v all_o brethren_n in_o adam_n you_o be_v all_o liar_n for_o how_o can_v you_o love_v god_n who_o you_o see_v not_o and_o hate_v truth_n how_o those_o who_o you_o style_v heathen_n many_o of_o they_o that_o speak_v good_a of_o god_n and_o of_o his_o kingdom_n which_o they_o can_v not_o do_v without_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n as_o what_o abimilech_n speak_v to_o abraham_n and_o the_o king_n of_o the_o philistine_n to_o isaac_n pharaoh_n to_o joseph_n as_o also_o potiphar_n his_o first_o master_n and_o the_o very_a gaoler_n be_v sensible_a of_o god_n be_v with_o joseph_n in_o prison_n and_o blessing_n he_o so_o likewise_o cyrus_n and_o king_n darius_n speak_v good_a of_o god_n and_o nebuchadnezar_n in_o his_o dream_n for_o they_o that_o do_v destroy_v they_o about_o religion_n and_o way_n and_o worship_n that_o they_o have_v make_v themselves_o and_o set_v up_o but_o not_o by_o the_o command_n of_o god_n they_o destroy_v part_n of_o god_n creation_n and_o god_n creature_n and_o the_o workmanship_n of_o his_o hand_n though_o they_o do_v profess_v god_n yet_o they_o destroy_v man_n who_o be_v make_v in_o the_o similitude_n of_o god_n and_o in_o so_o do_v they_o will_v destroy_v god_n if_o they_o can_v for_o as_o it_o be_v say_v he_o that_o hate_v his_o brother_n be_v a_o manslayer_n and_o so_o no_o manslayer_n have_v not_o eternal_a life_n abide_v in_o he_o he_o can_v set_v up_o religion_n way_n nor_o worship_n by_o which_o god_n be_v honour_v and_o these_o men-slayer_n break_v the_o concord_n of_o the_o air_n the_o spirit_n that_o now_o work_v in_o the_o child_n of_o disobedience_n in_o the_o lust_n of_o the_o flesh_n fulfil_v the_o desire_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o of_o the_o mind_n and_o be_v by_o nature_n the_o child_n of_o wrath_n as_o well_o as_o other_o now_o mark_v these_o heathen_n before_o conversion_n there_o be_v something_o in_o they_o that_o do_v disobey_v and_o therein_o do_v not_o fulfil_v the_o will_n of_o god_n but_o fulfil_v the_o will_n of_o the_o flesh_n and_o walk_v according_a to_o the_o lust_n of_o the_o same_o which_o bring_v they_o by_o that_o nature_n to_o murder_v and_o kill_v one_o another_o about_o these_o outward_a thing_n which_o the_o kingdom_n of_o god_n stand_v not_o in_o for_o it_o stand_v in_o righteousness_n faith_n and_o in_o love_n and_o joy_n in_o the_o holy_a ghost_n and_o come_v all_o of_o you_o to_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n that_o you_o have_v hate_v and_o to_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o you_o that_o you_o have_v vex_v their_o neighbour_n as_o themselves_o and_o in_o this_o all_o nation_n of_o man_n may_v keep_v a_o society_n a_o unity_n a_o trade_n a_o traffic_n and_o a_o communion_n and_o commerce_n and_o hold_v a_o correspondency_n one_o with_o another_o and_o this_o will_v preserve_v he_o in_o a_o natural_a affection_n and_o as_o they_o all_o keep_v in_o this_o royal_a law_n that_o answer_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n in_o they_o all_o and_o his_o light_n and_o grace_n in_o which_o they_o will_v have_v a_o unity_n and_o by_o it_o to_o be_v keep_v above_o all_o the_o religion_n and_o worship_n they_o have_v make_v with_o that_o peevish_a spirit_n that_o have_v lead_v to_o disobey_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n from_o which_o they_o have_v not_o natural_a affection_n who_o can_v do_v to_o other_o as_o they_o will_v have_v other_o do_v to_o they_o that_o can_v bring_v you_o to_o the_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n this_o royal_a law_n will_v slay_v that_o peevish_a spirit_n in_o you_o all_o and_o that_o be_v slay_v and_o fall_v then_o fall_v all_o religion_n that_o you_o have_v set_v up_o together_o in_o the_o whole_a world_n and_o the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n turn_v you_o to_o the_o royal_a law_n whereof_o god_n be_v the_o donor_n and_o judge_n they_o that_o transgress_v it_o and_o so_o in_o this_o royal_a law_n you_o keep_v dominion_n and_o you_o keep_v your_o love_n to_o your_o neighbour_n as_o to_o yourselves_o and_o the_o royal_a law_n keep_v you_o in_o that_o spirit_n to_o do_v unto_o all_o as_o you_o will_v have_v all_o do_v unto_o you_o if_o any_o man_n jam._n 1.23_o hear_v the_o word_n and_o declare_v not_o the_o same_o by_o his_o work_n he_o be_v like_a unto_o a_o man_n behold_v his_o natural_a face_n in_o a_o glass_n for_o as_o soon_o as_o he_o look_v on_o himself_o he_o go_v his_o way_n and_o forget_v immediate_o what_o fashion_n he_o be_v of_o but_o who_o so_o look_v into_o the_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n and_o continue_v therein_o if_o he_o be_v not_o a_o forgetful_a hearer_n but_o a_o doer_n of_o the_o work_n this_o man_n shall_v be_v blessed_v in_o his_o deed._n now_o consider_v this_o all_o you_o that_o profess_v god_n and_o christ_n you_o christian_n jew_n and_o other_o for_o be_v not_o this_o your_o condition_n have_v you_o look_v into_o the_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n and_o if_o so_o with_o what_o have_v you_o look_v into_o it_o be_v it_o not_o by_o the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o the_o light_n of_o christ_n which_o when_o you_o have_v look_v into_o by_o the_o spirit_n and_o light_n of_o christ_n jesus_n and_o not_o do_v the_o same_o you_o may_v read_v yourselves_o as_o in_o a_o glass_n that_o you_o look_v into_o and_o after_o forget_v what_o manner_n of_o man_n you_o be_v and_o so_o be_v not_o all_o that_o look_v into_o this_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n whether_o they_o be_v jew_n christian_n or_o heathen_a who_o look_v into_o this_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n and_o do_v it_o not_o be_v like_a unto_o the_o natural_a man_n or_o woman_n that_o look_v into_o a_o glass_n and_o after_o that_o forget_v what_o manner_n of_o man_n and_o woman_n they_o be_v of_o and_o so_o they_o that_o look_v into_o the_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n and_o do_v it_o not_o be_v not_o blessed_v nor_o happy_a in_o their_o deed_n though_o they_o may_v be_v hearer_n of_o this_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n and_o yet_o not_o doer_n they_o be_v like_o i_o say_v unto_o the_o natural_a man_n and_o woman_n that_o look_v as_o say_v the_o apostle_n into_o the_o glass_n and_o after_o know_v not_o what_o manner_n of_o man_n or_o woman_n they_o be_v though_o they_o see_v themselves_o when_o they_o look_v into_o the_o glass_n but_o they_o that_o look_v into_o the_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n and_o do_v the_o same_o do_v not_o forget_v what_o manner_n of_o man_n they_o be_v but_o see_v what_o manner_n of_o man_n they_o be_v and_o what_o manner_n of_o man_n they_o have_v be_v and_o so_o by_o the_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n look_v into_o it_o and_o do_v it_o they_o mend_v so_o that_o they_o who_o have_v be_v without_o natural_a affection_n it_o bring_v they_o to_o natural_a affection_n who_o have_v not_o love_v their_o nighbour_n as_o themselves_o it_o bring_v they_o to_o love_v they_o as_o themselves_o who_o have_v not_o do_v to_o all_o man_n as_o they_o will_v have_v all_o man_n do_v to_o they_o this_o perfect_a law_n of_o liberty_n look_v into_o it_o and_o do_v of_o it_o will_v bring_v they_o to_o do_v unto_o all_o as_o they_o will_v have_v all_o do_v unto_o they_o so_o look_v upon_o all_o christendom_n and_o all_o that_o profess_v god_n and_o christ_n in_o the_o whole_a world_n and_o those_o also_o that_o do_v not_o who_o do_v grieve_v and_o quench_v and_o vex_v the_o spirit_n of_o god_n and_o hate_v the_o light_n of_o christ_n and_o walk_v despiteful_o against_o the_o spirit_n of_o grace_n though_o these_o have_v the_o word_n of_o god_n sow_o upon_o all_o their_o ground_n and_o if_o they_o hear_v it_o and_o declare_v it_o not_o in_o their_o work_n life_n and_o conversation_n they_o be_v like_o a_o natural_a man_n behold_v his_o
not_o something_o of_o god_n in_o he_o nor_o of_o his_o spirit_n and_o so_o these_o teacher_n in_o the_o whole_a world_n do_v bring_v their_o people_n to_o those_o religion_n that_o they_o have_v make_v and_o do_v get_v the_o magistrate_n power_n and_o sword_n to_o hold_v then_o up_o and_o allow_v they_o a_o maintenance_n for_o their_o preach_v of_o it_o to_o they_o and_o so_o hereby_o be_v beget_v a_o great_a deal_n of_o peevishness_n fury_n and_o rage_n one_o against_o another_o and_o one_o religion_n maker_n against_o another_o religion-maker_n as_o may_v easy_o be_v see_v over_o all_o the_o world_n the_o national_a religion_n differ_v one_o from_o another_o and_o yet_o the_o people_n be_v bind_v to_o observe_v all_o that_o which_o their_o priest_n have_v frame_v whereas_o if_o all_o man_n and_o woman_n come_v to_o the_o principle_n of_o god_n in_o themselves_o by_o which_o they_o may_v come_v to_o the_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n namely_o in_o do_v to_o other_o as_o etc._n etc._n then_o all_o these_o peevish_a religion_n and_o the_o maker_n and_o upholder_n of_o they_o will_v quick_o fall_v wherein_o they_o do_v unto_o other_o as_o they_o will_v not_o have_v other_o do_v unto_o they_o and_o this_o will_v be_v religion_n to_o do_v the_o law_n of_o god_n which_o be_v to_o love_v thy_o neighbour_n as_o thyself_o and_o god_n above_o all_o &_o then_o thou_o will_v be_v ready_a to_o entertain_v stranger_n for_o if_o thou_o shall_v be_v a_o stranger_n thou_o will_v think_v it_o hard_o shall_v thou_o not_o be_v entertain_v and_o relieve_v the_o sick_a and_o the_o widow_n and_o fatherless_a the_o same_o compassion_n as_o thou_o will_v have_v do_v to_o thyself_o be_v in_o the_o like_a condition_n capacity_n &_o necessity_n and_o this_o principle_n of_o god_n within_o in_o keep_v the_o royal_a law_n keep_v up_o the_o mind_n to_o god_n who_o be_v the_o lawgiver_n who_o be_v bless_v forever_o from_o who_o they_o receive_v their_o religion_n and_o this_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n be_v keep_v by_o all_o the_o son_n and_o daughter_n of_o man_n in_o the_o whole_a world_n which_o be_v according_a to_o the_o principle_n of_o god_n in_o they_o all_o and_o one_o with_o it_o this_o preserve_v natural_a affection_n and_o so_o nature_n in_o its_o course_n where_o nature_n may_v not_o be_v destroy_v for_o where_o nature_n be_v destroy_v it_o be_v but_o by_o the_o transgressor_n of_o the_o royal_a law_n whereas_o this_o royal_a law_n be_v due_o keep_v it_o preserve_v i_o say_v the_o creation_n of_o god_n part_n of_o which_o be_v man_n &_o woman_n in_o order_n &_o government_n themselves_o and_o to_o walk_v and_o to_o do_v to_o all_o as_o they_o etc._n etc._n and_o out_o of_o this_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n all_o the_o disorder_n be_v and_o all_o the_o ill-government_n in_o the_o whole_a creation_n by_o disobey_v and_o transgress_v i_o say_v this_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n yea_o and_o all_o the_o unequal_a measure_v weight_n and_o false_a judgement_n that_o be_v among_o they_o that_o do_v transgress_v and_o disobey_v this_o royal_a law_n which_o be_v to_o do_v to_o all_o etc._n etc._n yea_o and_o all_o the_o ill-neighbourhood_n in_o the_o whole_a world_n be_v among_o they_o who_o disobey_v this_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n and_o quench_v the_o spirit_n of_o the_o lord_n in_o themselves_o which_o will_v lead_v they_o to_o obey_v it_o and_o all_o the_o good_a neighbourhood_n in_o the_o whole_a universe_n be_v by_o obey_v the_o principle_n of_o god_n in_o they_o to_o do_v the_o royal_a law_n of_o god_n whereby_o they_o love_v god_n above_o all_o and_o their_o neighbour_n as_o themselves_o and_o in_o ezek._n 5._o where_o the_o lord_n say_v that_o the_o jew_n have_v despise_v his_o judgement_n and_o his_o law_n more_o than_o the_o gentile_n and_o have_v break_v his_o commandment_n more_o than_o the_o nation_n now_o mark_v may_v not_o this_o be_v apply_v unto_o christian_n who_o have_v break_v and_o despise_v the_o law_n of_o life_n the_o law_n of_o love_n and_o the_o law_n of_o faith_n and_o the_o command_v of_o christ_n who_o say_v love_v one_o another_o and_o love_v enemy_n have_v not_o i_o say_v christian_n break_a this_o more_o than_o the_o gentile_a nation_n and_o heathen_n yea_o we_o can_v say_v we_o have_v find_v it_o so_o for_o they_o be_v more_o ready_a to_o entertain_v stranger_n than_o christian_n who_o have_v cast_v away_o that_o command_n nay_o many_o of_o they_o be_v more_o christian_n in_o their_o deal_n then_o such_o as_o be_v call_v christian_n which_o signify_v that_o there_o be_v something_o of_o god_n in_o these_o heathen_n and_o nation_n that_o bring_v they_o to_o a_o sensibility_n of_o the_o law_n of_o god_n which_o be_v to_o do_v unto_o all_o etc._n etc._n psal_n 117._o where_o david_n say_v praise_v the_o lord_n all_o you_o heathen_a which_o import_v as_o much_o that_o there_o be_v something_o of_o god_n in_o the_o very_a heathen_a else_o it_o will_v be_v a_o see_v not_o themselves_o and_o so_o be_v judge_n in_o their_o evil_a thought_n of_o the_o scripture_n and_o holy_a man_n word_n who_o judgement_n be_v judge_v by_o the_o holy_a man_n word_n psal_n to_o do_v to_o all_o as_o they_o will_v have_v all_o do_v to_o they_o isa_n 51._o the_o island_n of_o the_o gentile_n shall_v hope_v in_o i_o and_o put_v their_o trust_n in_o my_o arm._n here_o you_o he_o say_v he_o among_o all_o the_o nation_n and_o again_o the_o prophet_n isaiah_n say_v there_o shall_v be_v a_o root_n of_o jesse_n &_o he_o shall_v arise_v to_o reign_v over_o the_o gentile_n in_o he_o shall_v the_o gentile_n trust_v so_o that_o it_o be_v undoubted_o clear_a here_o that_o there_o be_v something_o of_o god_n in_o all_o the_o gentile_n in_o all_o the_o nation_n and_o people_n
