seem_v a_o thing_n not_o tolerable_a for_o there_o be_v or_o aught_o to_o be_v in_o every_o child_n of_o god_n a_o holy_a self-love_n and_o a_o sanctify_a self-love_n whereby_o they_o be_v bind_v to_o love_v themselves_o above_o all_o other_o and_o to_o use_v all_o good_a mean_n for_o the_o good_a estate_n of_o their_o own_o body_n and_o soul_n and_o that_o above_o the_o estate_n of_o any_o other_o howsoever_o as_o the_o apostle_n john_n say_v 1_o john_n 3.16_o that_o as_o christ_n lay_v down_o his_o life_n for_o we_o so_o be_v we_o one_o for_o another_o yet_o a_o christian_a be_v not_o bind_v to_o deprive_v himself_o of_o a_o temporal_a life_n for_o the_o safety_n of_o the_o temporal_a life_n of_o another_o no_o nor_o yet_o to_o deprive_v himself_o of_o eternal_a life_n for_o the_o eternal_a good_a estate_n of_o other_o do_v the_o apostle_n then_o do_v well_o thus_o to_o wish_v yes_o the_o apostle_n do_v well_o in_o this_o wish_v answ_n even_o in_o wish_v himself_o to_o be_v accurse_v from_o christ_n for_o the_o conversion_n of_o the_o jew_n because_o in_o this_o wish_n and_o desire_v of_o the_o apostle_n he_o have_v not_o only_a respect_n to_o the_o salvation_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o their_o conversion_n but_o also_o to_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n and_o he_o know_v that_o indeed_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o the_o glory_n of_o christ_n will_v be_v wonderful_o enlarge_v by_o the_o conversion_n of_o the_o jew_n and_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n and_o of_o christ_n aught_o to_o be_v procure_v if_o it_o be_v possible_a even_o with_o the_o eternal_a confusion_n of_o our_o soul_n though_o we_o be_v the_o child_n of_o god_n quest_n but_o it_o may_v be_v some_o may_v further_o say_v admit_v it_o be_v for_o the_o glory_n of_o god_n that_o the_o apostle_n wish_v himself_o to_o be_v separate_v from_o christ_n or_o to_o be_v accurse_v or_o anathema_n from_o christ_n may_v a_o man_n wish_v himself_o separate_v from_o christ_n and_o so_o a_o enemy_n to_o christ_n and_o christ_n a_o enemy_n to_o he_o as_o the_o devil_n and_o damn_a in_o hell_n be_v i_o answer_v answ_n again_o the_o apostle_n wish_n be_v not_o so_o to_o be_v take_v he_o and_o all_o the_o nobility_n of_o christ_n ancestor_n be_v communicate_v unto_o thou_o gal._n 3.7_o they_o which_o be_v of_o faith_n the_o same_o be_v the_o child_n of_o abraham_n because_o christ_n himself_o concern_v the_o flesh_n come_v of_o abraham_n reason_n as_o the_o apostle_n speak_v in_o ephes_n 5.30_o and_o they_o be_v in_o christ_n they_o be_v bone_n of_o his_o bone_n and_o flesh_n of_o his_o flesh_n they_o be_v member_n with_o he_o and_o therefore_o partaker_n with_o he_o oh_o than_o what_o excellent_a comfort_n be_v this_o to_o they_o that_o be_v sure_a of_o it_o use_v that_o the_o gospel_n have_v a_o work_n upon_o their_o heart_n and_o soul_n that_o it_o have_v hammer_v their_o soul_n and_o make_v they_o believe_v in_o jesus_n christ_n and_o though_o it_o be_v so_o that_o thou_o be_v of_o mean_a and_o base_a condition_n in_o the_o world_n yet_o thou_o be_v a_o child_n of_o abraham_n a_o honour_n far_o surpass_v that_o to_o be_v the_o son_n or_o daughter_n of_o a_o emperor_n or_o the_o great_a monarch_n or_o potentate_n in_o the_o world_n all_o the_o nobility_n of_o christ_n his_o ancestor_n belong_v unto_o thou_o if_o thou_o be_v a_o child_n of_o abraham_n the_o friend_n of_o god_n 2_o chr._n 20.7_o as_o jehosaphat_n call_v he_o what_o can_v thou_o want_v either_o for_o thy_o provision_n or_o for_o thy_o safety_n and_o protection_n or_o defence_n the_o lord_n have_v make_v many_o sweet_a gracious_a and_o comfortable_a promise_n to_o abraham_n that_o he_o will_v be_v his_o god_n his_o shield_n his_o buckler_n and_o his_o exceed_a great_a reward_n a_o friend_n to_o his_o friend_n and_o a_o enemy_n to_o his_o enemy_n and_o thou_o have_v right_a and_o title_n to_o all_o these_o gracious_a promise_n thou_o be_v a_o true_a believer_n god_n be_v thy_o shield_n and_o buckler_n a_o friend_n to_o thy_o friend_n and_o a_o enemy_n to_o thy_o enemy_n what_o can_v thou_o want_v either_o for_o thy_o provision_n and_o safety_n or_o thy_o protection_n and_o therefore_o in_o the_o fear_n of_o god_n think_v upon_o it_o whosoever_o thou_o be_v that_o find_v thyself_o wrought_v upon_o by_o the_o powerful_a word_n of_o the_o gospel_n that_o it_o have_v beat_v down_o thy_o pride_n thy_o covetousness_n and_o have_v confer_v unto_o thou_o the_o spirit_n and_o that_o spirit_n wrought_v faith_n in_o thy_o heart_n thou_o be_v a_o child_n of_o abraham_n and_o all_o the_o promise_n of_o god_n touch_v this_o life_n and_o the_o life_n to_o come_v thou_o have_v right_a and_o title_n to_o as_o a_o child_n of_o abraham_n verse_n 9_o for_o this_o be_v a_o word_n of_o promise_n in_o the_o same_o time_n will_v i_o come_v and_o sarah_n shall_v have_v a_o son_n our_o apostle_n have_v deliver_v this_o for_o a_o certain_a truth_n
